Resumen
From a field of research that forms a sub-discipline -the sociology of music and the amateurs-, the work of Antoine Hennion contains a specific and relevant contribution to social sciences. Hennion's efforts question the limits of constructivism to give rise to a sociology of irreversibilities that integrates the relations between the human and the non-human into heterogeneous arrangements. In his work, music will no longer be just what musicology privileges. But this will not be denied in the name of social forces. Music will be a relationship, a heteroclite arrangement that must be apprehended within that complexity. In this paper, we refer to emergent discussions of his work, which offer us the possibility to draw consequences for the contemporary ethnographical practice. With this purpose, we first expose Hennion’s position respect to constructivism, then we explore the sense of pragmatism in his recent work and finally we review the aspects of ethnographic practice we call into question from that perspective. Particularly, we underline the value of pragmata as a concept which affords us to rethink “the native's point of view” and, specially, to emphasize the dialogical character of ethnographic knowledge.

Resumen
La reseña del libro Living and working in poverty in Latin Americ.

Family and religion in Buenos Aires: network analysis in qualitative research with photo elicitation

Resumen
The article approaches the study of religious socialization in families of different faiths in Buenos Aires with a qualitative methodology, focusing on two aspects related to the images used during the research: data collection with the photo elicitation technique and the network analysis of coincidences of the photographs. The concept of memory is present along the whole research, where the reconstruction of the past in common implies a certain shared sense of the present and offers an account of the configuration of the link between family, tradition, and religiosity. Remembering implies a construction and, at the same time, a legitimation of the family lineage. Photographs emerge as an emblem of family identity that represent moments of biographical trajectories as points of reference, allowing access to the memories of their members. The use of the network analysis of coincidences applied to the content of the photographs identifies presences and absences among the actors that complement the data collected with the interviews. The network analysis of coincidences made it possible to understand what the images reveal about kinship relations, affinities, and inequalities within the family and at a generational level. Thus, the text focuses on the use of photo-elicitation and network analysis, which may constitute a methodological contribution to the study of religious phenomena.

Resumen
The present article constitutes a reflection derived from the analysis of the thought of Norbert Elias, Bruno Latour and Eduardo Viveiros de Castro, whose theoretical constructs are oriented to question the metaphysical dualisms inherited from the Cartesian philosophy. The objectives of the research consist in analyze how these dualisms limit the understanding of the connections between the human and the non-human by the social sciences, as well as expose the new theoretical approaches that together represent a new ontological turn against that "asymmetric" anthropology and that sociology "of the social", as criticized by Latour.

Resumen
In this paper presents a proposal for the interrelation of different disciplinary approaches to address social phenomena and problems. Pointing out how this phenomena and problems are linked to some elements of different scientific disciplines; after that, the assumptions that give meaning to said proposal are indicated; and, finally, it is stressed what is the role that the other disciplines can play and how they are articulated among themselves to cover the question asked or the defined problem. In the final comments, some lines of disciplinary interrelation research that are being developed based on the present proposal are pointed out.

Resumen
This article conducts an empirical assessment of research styles in the social sciences in Argentina, based on the most cited publications of Conicet researchers in the fields of political science and sociology. A statistical analysis of 760 published articles tests hypotheses on the link between doctoral training, research style and the researchers’ scientific methodologies. We contribute to existing debates on hegemonic research styles in the global south, and show significant prevalence of qualitative methodology as well as a distinct quantitative bias in comparative studies and among US trained scholars. Further, we present novel findings describing the link between methodological choices and intersubjective recognition.

Resumen
In this paper I propose an exercise of methodological reflexivity on the categories to which I was compared in my research about love among gay men. The aim is to recognize that those categories are not arbitraries but get particular sense in the conformation of couples. I understood the couples as a network assembled for more than two individuals. So, being compared to a guy trying to date, a third party, a therapist and a friend makes the researcher role more dynamic, at the same time that provides information about really existing gay love.

Resumen
This article reflects on the potential that has, at the methodological level, the production of narratives as emancipatory practices and generating critique of social control. For that, two research experiences of a qualitative nature carried out in Chile are used with professional in psycho-social fields. It analyzes how professionals build, in their narrative productions, the subjects with whom they work. It also demonstrates how the production of the narrative exercise itself can transform the practices of control, normalization and discipline to promote more emancipatory and anti-oppressive actions. The article shows the articulation that is generated in the process of production of the narration between researcher subject and professional of intervention, relationship that promotes the development of a process of reflexivity that implies a critical positioning on Psycho-social action. Thus, it is explicit the theoretical-methodological position in which these investigations are placed and the exercise of self-reflexivity is emphasized and that recognizes the importance of rethinking and examining the work: who intervene in the social area and who investigate their practices.

Resumen
Within the field of social sciences, medicalization as a concept is a regular matter of cultural social, economic and political-legislative agenda. It is also convening in academicals, research, clinical and professional spaces, in which some inaccuracies related to the concept and its circulation, became evident. These inaccuracies can be resumed in three lines: the adjectivally use of the concept, the reduction of the concept and the inappropriateness of the concept. This paper’s objective is to present some theoretical and methodological implications and corollaries which are derived from the inaccuracies mentioned above. In order to do so, some analytical and interpretative methods on specific national and international bibliography are used, with ADHD as an empirical example.

Resumen
In this work I address creativity in the process of social sciences research, comparing quantitative and qualitative approaches. In discussing creativity I go back to Chomsky and his distinction between rule-governed and rule-changing creativity. In my analysis I suggest that the quantitative approach is characterized by rule-governed creativity, the qualitative one by rule-changing creativity: these are two models of creativity that the Chomskian vision links to a set of rules. Thus in the first case the creation of the tools by which the researcher collects information is submitted to a set of rules related to substantial and procedural competences. In the second case the creative phase does not have a place in the creation of a tool, but rather in a performance. The idea of performance as a constitutive part in qualitative research is analysed on a substantial basis, revealing the implications of distinct creative processes under different methodological choices. Whilst a quantitative approach requires using procedural and substantial competences, I suggest that in a qualitative enquiry the researcher’s fieldwork is considered as a ‘performance’ because of its adaptive character. The researcher is constantly confronted with unforeseen situations, surrounded by an unknown environment. Also, this use of the notion of ‘performance’ comprehends both elements of the process as well as of the outcome of fieldwork, as it recalls peculiar characteristics of qualitative work: action and interaction, personal involvement and, above all, orientation to a purpose (in this context, the teleological purpose of knowledge production).
