Resumen
This article is about the results of a mixed evaluative research with an emphasis on the qualitative paradigm, whose general objective is to analyze the effects of the Educational Project mediated by Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), GENIALES-TIC, in the development of soft skills of teachers and teaching directors of the Institution Educative Agricultural Technician of Sincerín (Institución Educativa Técnica Agropecuaria de Sincerín, INETASIN).
The effects are analyzed based on the Guskey model, in relation to the specific objectives of the project. It takes into consideration the reaction of the participants to the Program itself, the learnings about multiple intelligences and the discovery of their main talents, as well as the strengthening of character, emotional intelligence and defining their personal life projects. The effects on the Educational Institution are also analyzed, as well as on the work environment, the changes on the Institutional Educational Program (PEI), the application of the new learnings in the classroom and the motivation of the students.
The Program received an excellent review from directors and teachers, with a grade of 4.86/5.00, which indicates great value of the Program. As far as the learnings, it can be highlighted that they show more knowledge related to the skills they have worked on.
They report improvements in the work climate; they have made important adjustments to the Institutional Educational Project PEI, to incorporate the competences of the Project. They express the intention to focus more attention on the talents of students and add a subject to work soft skills from preschool to High School.

Resumen
The insufficient level of knowledge about chronic gingivitis continues to be a problem in a large part of the adolescent population. For this reason, it was decided to conduct an experimental educational intervention research, with a before and after, at the Camilo Cienfuegos Military School in Bayamo, Granma, with the objective of evaluating the impact of an educational intervention on the level of knowledge about chronic gingivitis of the students of and degrees. The sample consisted of 64 students, 40 males and 24 females. A survey made by the authors and evaluated by piloting was applied, in order to determine their knowledge about chronic gingivitis. Once the data obtained by the Wilcoxon test had been processed, the results showed that before the intervention, there was a low level of knowledge and after the educational intervention, the students reached a good level of knowledge.

Resumen
Incorrect handling of residual oil can affect human health and cause environmental pollution. In Costa Rica, suitable quality and safety conditions for the use of fats and oils are established in Public Food Services Regulation 37308-S, which specifies criteria and good practices for frying. An investigation of the organoleptic, physical, chemical and management characteristics of residual cooking oils in five restaurants was carried out to allow integral management of these oils, based on the contents of Decree 37308-S and the Manual of Good Environmental Practices for Food Services of the Universidad Nacional. It was found that frying practices in some restaurants were performed incorrectly, and that administrators and workers in these restaurants were not familiar with the contents of Decree 37308-S. Most residual oils analyzed had levels of polar compounds higher than permitted, and the generation rates were not in agreement with the theoretical rate, indicating that optimum cooking temperatures were not being used or the residual oil is being overused or it is delivered to a third party.

Resumen
A total of 96 sampling points were analyzed on board the B/O Miguel Oliver from January 3 to February 3, 2011. At each sampling point, trawling operations were carried out using a Lofoten network. The trawls of 30 minutes each were performed in 25 equidistant transects and divided into strata according to local depth, up to a maximum of 1500 m. A total of 142 species of bony and cartilaginous fish (n = 28074) belonging to 73 different families were found and analyzed. Relative abundance, biomass and catch frequency were determined. Antigoniacombatia showed the highest abundance (58.5%), Centrophorusgranulosus reported the most representative biomass in the study (10.9%), and Nezumiaaequalis was the most frequent species (32.6%). In addition, the spatial distribution in possible assemblages of the fish as a response to depth was studied. The cluster analysis (Mantel test r = 0.86; p <0.05), nonparametric spatial distribution analysis (NMDS) and similarity analysis (ANOSIM) provide sufficient evidence that species were found to be aggregated into spatial patterns with respect to the depth gradient.
