Resumen
In the fifties and sixties of the twentieth century, a disciplinary critique of the existing city was disseminated, rejecting the functionalist postulates applied in the inter-war, for the benefit of careful readings of the phenomenological perception of space, the mixture of uses and the human scale The present article pretends to investigate around this change of disciplinary paradigm, adopting the Villa el Chocón in the Argentinian Patagonia, and particularly the proposal for its civic center, as the main case of study, being that this small town puts in evidence a new approach regarding project strategies in urban and architectural matters. In particular, the hypothesis that guides the paper raises a conceptual proximity of the authors of the aforementioned work with the postulates that supported the distancing of the so-called Modern Movement, as well as an adherence to the motto “the heart of the city”, issues debated in Europe since the early 1950s. In attention to the stated objectives, the historical-critical analysis of the selected case made it possible to identify these affinities, differentiated as much from rationalism as the predominant strategy until the outbreak of the Second World War, as well as the subsequent systemic and indeterminate approach that would characterize a large part of the architectural production of the 1970s in Argentina.

Resumen
This study consists of extending the data analysis tools of our previous studies of Machiya houses in Kyoto, Japan, with the purpose of creating the foundations of a design method applicable in architecture in general. We will start by reviewing some basic concepts used in our research, followed by a brief analysis of the Japanese Machiya and its semantic space. After presenting the Machiya house, we will review some of the problems it faces today and how these are related to an identity problem that architecture faces today, and then explain the research goals.Next, we will present new exploratory data analysis tools to analyze the semantic space, including cluster analysis and multidimensional scaling. We will compare Sammon Mapping with Principal Component Analysis, exploring their potential uses to obtain usable information for the design of new architectural spaces. We will see the possibilities of applying the tools for analysis not only for projects based on traditional architecture, but for all types of architectural projects and the creation of new spaces.

Resumen
This investigation focuses on the detection of a vacancy of an integral approaching of the cultural goods on the middle section of the Mendoza River, in the central portion of the Argentinian Andes. Nowadays it has been advanced only in a limited look in the study of historical goods that consolidated the territory, which impedes enormously the possibility of reincorporation of such goods as tourist and economic resource for the region. For the comprehension of the problem it has been proposed an approach to physical space of particular characteristics – sharp slopes, steep morphology of the soil surfaces, stocky vegetation– in a historical time that reveals the transition between the end of 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, period known as the “modernity”. Starting from the methodology of case study we intended to reveal the coexistence of intentions and investments of public and private management. Particularly, in the area known as “Cacheuta valley”, where some of the effects of this modernity show the introduction of new technologies in productive processes, new ways of social interaction and established the foundations for the permanent historical settlement of this area. The railroad and the road plot constitute the guiding thread that leaded these pioneering interventions.

Resumen
Contemporary culture is identified with its own forms of production and reproduction of space. An absolutely visual project of imaginary dimension. What is mean to be expose is the emergence of a new temporal space topology, through the analysis of certain project strategies whose organizational forms and structures are logically and tactically redefined to understand the complex dynamics of the contemporary world.Through five concrete project strategies, “Five contemporary curvature tensors”, a transversal reading that introduces models and discourses from the field of sociology and architecture will be drawn. The curvature tensors named by the sociologist Luis Castro Nogueira in the book “Laughter of space” (1997), refer to material practices whose visual codes fold and tense the first modern space moment as it is known. This whole process of spatial gradation concludes in the virtual space. A synthetic and simulated typicity by electronic devices in which subject, object and medium become a progressive immaterial condition. Far from establishing absolute models, these topological displacements seek to establish a critical attitude necessary to project into future scenarios.

Resumen
The founding of cities in the north and west of the República Argentina during the first century of Iberian conquest was a complex process of trial, error and articulation of a variety of resources and techniques. Raw materials and constructive systems used such cities continue to be one of the great questions of colonial archeology, since the poor conservation of the architectural record limited its analysis and displaced archaeologists interests towards other evidences, more abundant and available.A systematic survey of documents produced by individuals who traveled through the region during the sixteenth century allowed to detect a limited but interesting set of mentions referring to the use of raw clay in the construction of structures, consistent with archaeological finding in the foundational areas of some of those cities. It is expected that this result will contribute to the development of a more detailed characterization of its early architecture, now disappeared.

Resumen
According to Antonie Picon in “Ornament: the politics of architecture and subjectivity”, the return of ornamentation as a practice today has several continuities with the classical ornament in terms of the subjectivity and politics. In this context, the first objective of this article is to revise the concept of subjectivity in contemporary ornament/architecture considering the ideas developed by the “object-oriented ontology” theory. Taking for instance an object created by a multi-agent system and manufactured with a clay extruder attached to a robotic arm, we wonder if the contemporary ornamental practice could continue to be referred as such, if the existence of the subject is no longer resolving and regulating its design and execution.Secondly, the idea is to speculate if designers, in the context of post-work and full automation theories, will rediscover the sense of architectural forms that might give a political meaning to the ornament today.

Abstract: This paper deals with how sport as we know it today, can change drastically as a result of technological transformations. In this sense I have reviewed some of them - genetic engineering, robotics in the form of implants and prostheses, neuroscience, Big Data and the possibility that there are sports played by robots). The secon part analyese how to organize the competitions and the access criteria for athletes. In this sense, I have developed the idea of a new technological fair play that has as a pillar not the purity of the body but the equality.
