Resumen
This article is part of a broader research project including the northeast of the state of Morelos. It is a region where the image of Christ currently plays an important role in the rituals conducted in the hills, ravines and springs, regarded as sacred places comprising the ritual landscape of Totolapan and Atlatlahucan. The aim is to use an anthropological and comparative perspective, framed in a lengthy historical process, to describe the religious ceremony surrounding the image of Christ the Risen in two municipal capitals in order to understand the religious re-enactments performed on three days: May 3, the Ascension of the Lord, and Pentecost. An ethnographic and historical method is used to reconstruct the process of reinterpreting the the image of the crucified Christ and its relationship with the landscape, a space reconfigured from ancestral elements underpinning the religious expressions of communities, re-interpreted within the sphere of the Catholic religion.

Resumen
The purpose of this article is to determine the economic and political processes that took place in the Metztitlán region in the sixteenth century. It is based on the theoretical framework of political economy, particularly its anthropological position. The postulates of the main representatives of economic and political anthropology, such as Karl Polanyi and Morton Fried, highlight the relationship between the two aspects that determined the development of Metztitlán from the pre-Hispanic period until the implementation of the encomienda by the first conquerors. The case of Metztitlán is extremely interesting, because as a result of the enormous natural and economic wealth of the region, a nucleus of power began to form, centered on the figure of the encomendero, who was responsible for controlling natural and human resources and exercising power based on force and coercion for the extraction of tribute. The theoretical postulates of economic and political anthropology can be applied to this case, which not only enables us to describe the historical facts, but also to offer an interpretation.

Resumen
This paper aims to explore the particularities of water supply management in Mexico by examining governance arrangements in which government, private and social actors intervene. The analysis is supported by documentary and field research in two case studies of municipalities in the Alto Lerma river zone: Xalatlaco and Santiago Tianguistenco. It is based on the idea that inclusion-exclusion from the right to water is conditioned by the way governance arrangements are made with the community organizations participating in water management. The exploration shows that access to water in municipalities is determined by community organizations.

Resumen
This article, based on a historic document, is primarily descriptive and comparative. It explores the spatiality and condition of the ejidos in regional and state terms in 1935. Data are drawen from an Atlas entitled “Agrarian Reform in Mexico”, which describes the status of ejidos, the diversity of natural resources and the variety of uses ejidos had in the different regions of the country. In this respect, the text provides an approach to diversity that does not usually appear in documents on ejidos, particularly when they are explored in historical terms. This information can serve asinput for detailed, spatialized and comparative studies that can help trace ejido trajectories in the different areas and states of the country. The source is an official, informational statistical document prepared by the General Statistics Office of the National Economy Secretariat.

Resumen
Sport fishing is a tourist activity that provides a substantial economic benefit for the State of Baja California Sur (BCS). In this respect, it is important to know the preferences of recreational anglers to design management strategies appropriate to local contexts. This study characterized the activity and profile of the recreational anglers who visit BCS in addition to identifying their perception of the catch and release techniques that contribute to resource conservation. A survey with 922 respondents conducted in three localities: Cabo San Lucas, Los Barriles-Buenavista and Isla Cerralvo, revealed that over 80 % of the sport fishers who come to Baja California are foreigners, with a predominantly intermediate level of angling experience, and a positive perception of catch and release. However, in these and other characteristics (such as income, age and travel time), proportions vary between locations. Based on the socioeconomic information obtained, two types of sport fisher were identified: occasional and exclusive. In addition, the female gender was identified as a neglected market segment, with a growth potential.

Resumen
The objective of this article is to illustrate the potentiality of food practices in the establishment of social relations. Based on an ethnographic study undertaken in the city of Oaxaca of those involved in the AgroSano food production project and linked to it through a responsible consumption group called El Tenate Básico, the perspectives that explain these productive practices and forms of consumption as a form of resistance against the global food industry are interrogated. A counter-dominant vision is proposed that emphasizes the importance of practices that embody vital concerns such as producing and procuring clean, locally sourced food. This experience shows how the organization of a group of people to produce food has triggered the localized appropriation of environmental and health care ideals outside transnational corporations or public policies as entities that organize food production and consumption. Emphasis is placed on the emergence of a way of practicing and imagining different forms of producing and eating that reduce the gap between producers and consumers in the urban sphere and empirically interrogate totalizing ideas such as the power of the global food regime.
