Resumen
Philosophical research requires more studies in the metaphysical field of man as a single entity in order to carry out a line or project of life in this world. The research presents Philosophy as a practice of life based on the contributions of Socrates, a Greek philosopher, aims to analyze the importance of the majestic method in the human condition in philosophical consultancies in this century. The study is qualitative, interpretive design. Within the materials we have worked with bibliographic research through the reading and signing of the texts of Plato and Aristotle. The Socratic method is important in philosophical consultancies because humanity is in existential risk as a result of various factors that overwhelm daily activities such as social, ethical, axiological risks, individualism, global warming, environmental pollution and others.

Resumen
In this paper, the author presents an explanation of the truth that is obtained from scientific practice. In this way, truth is revealed as functionality, but functionality is understood as negotiation between the researcher, the community and the researched world. However, the author also finds the need not to close the explanation of the truth in a single answer; and that is why he presents a pluralistic explanation of truth that conceives functionality as crosses all the others, and thus accepting that. There are other ways to explain the truth.

Resumen
This paper highlights the humanistic aspect of human rights within a globalized world, and particularly in government policies, which has neglected the importance of human rights in overcoming many conflicting aspects of our society. In this perspective it becomes clear the condition of human nature, from its ontological root, which gave rise to and foundation for Universal Human Rights, leaving certain relativistic, subjectivist and even reductionist approaches that do not respond to the vision integral of the person.

Resumen
The post-truth presents us with the banalization of the events or objective facts, in favor of positions and particular interests appealing to the emotions and indignation of the people where the truth and the lie coexist accepting both equally. In this perspective, the truth turns out to be an interpretation of reality or an alternative reality among others, which is conducive to manipulate people or social groups according to particular interests far from reality and the truth of events.

Resumen
This paper presents how republicanism from civil society allows a critique of the phenomena present in contemporary societies, especially forms of despotism that are based on dogmatisms and fundamentalisms. To that end, he begins by presenting the way in which Hume and Rousseau's thoughts are used by Kant to articulate a republican conception. Next, he goes on to see how this conception allows criticism of contemporary civil society.
