The text analyzes the characteristics of colonial structures: race, ethnicity and loss of innocence, in the film by the Colombian director Ciro Guerra, Embrace of the Serpent (2015). For this, a dialogue is created with theoretical ideas from Fanon, Quijano, Shohat and Stam. The article presents the results of the analysis the short films The Factory and Non-Binary. It was found that both short films have a particular symbolic construction of the establishment of the self from the social and the family view, as well as from the gender perspective through the body as social discourse and identity.DOI: https://doi.org/10.33571/revistaluciernaga.v11n22a3

Scholars who investigate the history of journals come from multiple disciplines and perspectives. Like those who have written about the history of professions and higher education. Mainly the fields that investigate the history of magazines are: the history of science, the history of the book, communications and information studies. Academics in all these fields would probably agree that the research article is an important artifact that is produced from the larger socialization and bureaucratization trends of universities. Research articles became an exclusive writing genre for professional scientists. En Iberoamérica los observatorios de información, comunicación y cultura, tienen una amplia representación; entre sus objetivos está el análisis de medios y fenómenos comunicacionales, integración de información para la toma de decisiones, generación y difusión de publicaciones, entre otros. Además de esta figura está la de los laboratorios de comunicación cuya finalidad es la consultoría, investigación aplicada y el desarrollo e implementación de procedimientos, métodos, herramientas y estrategias de comunicación.

The article presents a mode of measuring symbolic transmission in cultural programs. The study was supported by the evaluation of 18 projects of the Pacmyc - a Mexican program with more than 25 years of implementation.   It concludes that by focusing on symbolic transmission, and considering it as a factor to be evaluated, the set of tools that shape Mexico’s cultural evaluation system is enriched with new possibilities allowing breaking the traditional measurement schemes and incorporating new ways to evaluate the performance of public cultural programs.DOI: https://doi.org/10.33571/revistaluciernaga.v11n22a5

The article presents the reflection resulting from a research into the creative industries and the perception of this in the East of Antioquia, specifically in the municipalities of Marinilla and El Carmen de Viboral.  Stress fields are evidenced around the professional calling VS. profession; political fluctuations VS. collective interests; culture, talent and local management VS global requirements; optimism for the music industry VS. low consumption of this cultural representation in that zone.DOI: https://doi.org/10.33571/revistaluciernaga.v11n22a6

This paper reflects on the regulation in Colombia for community television. It analyses Resolution 650 of 2018, which regulates this type of service. To this end, the case of the Association of Community Users of the San Jorge Parabolic Antenna in Ocaña (Asucap San Jorge) is taken as an example. The research in question is based on the gender schema theory by Sandra Bem. The purpose of the research is to study male narrative features in the context of the norms of male socialization. The aim of the research under consideration is a comparative analysis of male and female autobiographies features, which are not confined to male and female speech characteristics and reflect revision of gender socialization norms by the subject. With the help of biographical interview method autobiographies of women aged 31 to 72 (N= 34) and men aged from 23 to 69 (N= 36) living in provincial Russian towns were transcribed and contrasted. The autobiographies underwent categorial analysis procedure conducted by experts; the obtained categorial matrices were processed with the use of mathematical methods of statistics. Considerable attention was given to men’s life stories during the process of analysis. Quantitative data analysis allowed to reconstruct the structure of men’s and women’s autobiographies, which reflected gender socialization norms. The obtained algorithm, being geared towards the search for gender markers in the autobiographies, identified gender-specific markers in men’s texts whereas the female ones were retrieved owing to non-specific categories. This allowed to conclude that the modern Russian male socialization practices are more traditional. According to the results of the research, the categorial structure of autobiographical texts in men and in women is similar in key events and specific to each gender group at the same time. As far as gender normativity is concerned, male stories are more frequent to contain the gender norms abidance markers. Female stories are more individualized and fall into different scenarios (gender-standardized and non-standard).

This study was carried out in three Iberian-American countries, Colombia, Spain and Venezuela, to identify the stereotypes of love and gender professed among youth and compare them to those they prefer in television fiction series, i.e., those able to influence their identities and values. From an interdisciplinary perspective, the study involved a survey of 485 first-year university students, and a qualitative analysis of the media representations preferred by them. The results showed a preference for "amor ludens", based on enjoyment and the present moment, and a gap between the cognitive and emotional spheres of some youth who consider themselves distant from stereotypical, heteronormative and patriarchal models, but who choose media representations that match these models and the traditional gender portrayals.
