Resumen
In this essay we wonder how the National Museum of Fine Arts of Buenos Aires (MNBA) has been acquiring modernizing, Eurocentric and elitist features since its founding in 1896 to today. To do this, we focus on the permanent collections—especially in room 3 on the ground floor—and analyze the paradox of its private nature within a public institution. Through the survey of catalogs from the last 50 years, an analysis of the room itself and consultations with the Department of Documentation and Archive, we note the coercion that donors of private collections exert on the museum, not only in the curatorial narrative of the exhibits, but also on what they decide not to show. In this scenario, we wonder what possibilities the institution really has of making curatorial decisions and training its audiences from a public sector perspective.

Resumen
In the performing arts, play is fundamental as a technique of training, improvisation and a starting point for the creative process when it wants to achieve objectives such as the choreographic composition and interpretation of a character for the stage. Playing is also a social tool to understand the learning of an individual and a path to externalize the needs of people; we are what we learn through playing. The present article proposes a reflection on the importance of play as an element that defines the individual in society: a playful space that from our childhood allows us to understand the different roles that exist in society and those that we will exercise in the future, as well as an instrument that is a source of individual and collective expression, building bridges to generate social participation.

Resumen
I present here parts of the dialogue I held with the indigenous grandmothers and sabedores of Gente de Centro in Araracuara (Caquetá), and with Other women and men who inhabit conceptions of spiritual worlds rooted in the vitality of everyday practices and the respect for all beings: they show us alternative relational ways of life, very different from those hegemonically prevalent in the West. The issue that drives the transit of this road is to recognize the sensorial knowledge set practiced by the indigenous women of Gente de Centro and Other women and men committed to the care of nature and family, creators who are in connection with the land and the cosmos from a deep joy of being alive, within equitable and loving human communities.

Resumen
Our objective is to analyze the training in verse recitation for the Spanish classical theater in the higher artistic education for drama in Spain today. The method of analysis we use requires the poetry to be integrated in the performance. As a result of this study, a new generation of professional performers for the classical verse is identified, its characteristics are defined and its possible path on the stage is projected. At the same time, the causes that have enabled this new era and the academic and stage framework in which it develops are further described: formalization of theatrical education, connections with other European scenes and normalization of the relations between theoretical studies and stage practice. This study, especially aimed at drama teachers, performers and an all those interested in classical Spanish theater, builds a bridge between Academia and the stage.

Resumen
In Colombia, European, indigenous and black traditions have met and influenced each other since colonial times. However, the political and economic dominance of the elites produced a subordination of autochthonous musical practices and their subsequent transformation. This article considers the Colombian social structure as the main element that modeled the country’s musical traditions. In this way, we seek to explain the evolution of certain artistic expressions of the country, in particular the musical genres erected as national symbols, as a result of the ethnic differentiation encouraged by the Europeanist ideals of the elites.

Resumen
Based on the modal categories of Jordi Claramonte’s modal aesthetic theory, this text exposes a way of approaching the identification of modal relationships as axes of analysis of a work of art. To this end, a dialogue is proposed with La Última Sena of Colombian sculptor Feliza Bursztyn. This work allows to illustrate the tensions between the dispositional and that which belongs to the repertoire as constitutive elements of the artistic and the aesthetic reality.

Resumen
This article reflects on the poetic relation of human beings when represented at the smallest scale in relation to the place in which they are located. It reclaims the allegorical character of an artistic work of tiny size, but perceptible to the naked eye, which refers us to the relationship of being with itself, with others, and with the context that encompasses it. Methodologically, it analyzes the value of those works of artistic vocation that use the context of the city, and the elements that characterize it, with the intention of generating new interrelations that amplify its creative and conceptual meaning. Finally, it concludes by underlining the perception of the urban context in which we live, claiming the value of the small details that go unnoticed.

Resumen
We present a reflection that tracks the political arguments and value judgments used to support the issuance of the General Law of Culture and the creation of the Ministry of Culture in Colombia amid institutional, political and economic limitations. Our article explores the way in which the government was able to pursue a cultural public policy that is still in force today, twenty years after being created.

Resumen
The purpose of the work is to determine the carbon footprint -CF- in a higher education institution of public management in Argentina by analyzing the information requirements for its calculation in order to establish its limitations and make contributions to the design of institutional policies. Although the universities report their work in environmental matters, develop responsible behavior programs and adhere to international networks and standards to promote commitment to society and the environment, the quantification of polluting emissions that allow establishing plans for their reduction is absent.A descriptive, quantitative investigation was undertaken to determine the CF in the Facultad de Ciencias Económicas y Sociales of the Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata in 2018 from two proposals: the Comparative Accounting Accounts Method or MC3 (Doménech, 2004) and a specific methodology for universities (Álvarez and Heras, 2008). To calculate each type of issue, financial statements, invoices, notes and reports from the Purchasing, Supply and Registration systems were accessed. The results show a higher proportion of direct emissions from natural gas combustion compared to a lower contribution of indirect emissions due to mobility of the academic community with a total of 150.76 kgCO2eq. per capita for the year of study. The analysis reveals the difficulties for calculating the CF centered on the lack of institutionalization of this metric. The adoption of a proactive approach in the development of improvement plans that allow the reduction and / or compensation of emissions will imply not only the adoption of new, more efficient technologies that replace the existing ones with higher energy consumption, but also the provision of systems that provide information on both the technological endowment and its degree of obsolescence and on the environmental impact of its employment.
