Resumen
The present investigation is of a comparative descriptive type, with the objective of describing and comparing the learning style and the level of family satisfaction in a group of high and low performance students of a private university in Lima. The non-probabilistic sample, available sampling, made up of a total of 90 students, of which 28 have low academic performance and 62 high academic performance. The instruments used are: Katlen Buttler's Preference Inventory (Learning Styles) (1988) and the Family Satisfaction Scale for Adjectives. Barraca, J & Lópéz – Yarto, L. (2000). With respect to learning styles, the Sequential Abstract learning style is the one that is most developed in the entire sample studied and the Sequential Concrete learning style, in both groups they are concentrated at a Medium and High level, this learning style being the most preferred of the study group. The Total Family Satisfaction of both groups mostly presents a Low level (82.1% and 82.1% respectively).

Resumen
For human development, the role of human interactions and those involving the nature and objects from family, social, and school contexts is vital. This study offers a reflection on the relevance of significant interactions between adults and children, in particular, in a way that cognitive and socioemotional learning has an impact on children’s development. The author carries out a review after 20 years of the great topic of the adult’s inner child and the resilient capabilities of children and adults forged and consolidated in positive interactions.
Two decades later, we must add the intervention of digital technology, which offers certain positive aspects for everyday learning, but can also considerably limit interaction and face-to-face communication, creative potential, and activities of social communication restricted to passive curiosity and exploration.
In 1998, the question was: are the twentieth-century children, -nowadays parents- prepared for the twenty-first century children? This is still a valid question today and the concern also includes to find out how well parents are prepared and how much the voices of twenty-first century children are heard. This century has begun with high levels of violence, consumerism and materialism, and requires to make a stand for greater and better values and awareness to create valuable opportunities for childhood development both in Peru and in the world.

Resumen
The overlap between depression and anxiety is a widely-replicated finding in mental health research. The Depression, Anxiety, Stress Scales (DASS-21) were developed to maximize the discrimination between these constructs. However, research suggests that DASS-21 predominantly measure an overall factor of emotional distress. In this study, DASS-21 were translated and applied to 353 university students (Mage = 20.42; 61% women) from Lima, Peru. The confirmatory factorial analysis supported a bifactor model, but additional analyses revealed that the data were essentially one-dimensional. Moreover, when the items were subjected to a bifactor exploratory analysis, some did not load into their original specific factors. The conclusion was that DASS-21 must be interpreted as a global dimension of emotional distress.

Resumen
This study intends to analyze parental bond and aggressiveness in adolescents attending the first year of high school in a public educational institution located in San Juan de Lurigancho District, and the relationship between those variables. The sample consisted of 100 adolescents (12-13 years old). The instruments applied were the Behaviourally Anchored Rating Scales- BARS (Conger 1989), The Buss and Perry Aggression Questionnaire (modified by Matalinares, Yariñango, Uceda, Fernández, Huari, Campos, and Villavicencio, 2012), and a sociodemographic datasheet. The results show the lack of statistically significant relationship between the variables. The sample also shows a high rate of physical aggressiveness. Indeed, after the sample analysis, it was concluded that the influence of the adolescent’s social environment might explain the existence of such aggressive behavior.

Resumen
This research is quantitative, with a descriptive and correlational design. Its objective is to compare the relationship between the early maladaptive schemas and the depression developed in hospitalized young patients from a Healthcare Institution in Lima. The sample consisted of 100 male patients ranging from 18 and 23 years old, admitted to different hospital units. The outcome yielded that the only early maladaptive schema related to depression is the negativity schema with a 95% confidence interval. Therefore, it is concluded that the unmet needs of these individuals are spontaneity and play as their feelings, impulse and choices were repressed during childhood, thus causing a pessimistic outlook in adulthood.

Resumen
The subject of the research is the traumatic ordeal caused by moral and sexual abuse during childhood, and its long-term consequences. Life stories of four adult individuals (one man and three women) between 36 and 60 years old were analyzed. The research is qualitative and the method of analysis is based on the Narrative Identity Theory. The stories have some coincident points: moral or sexual abuse; escape from their family nucleus; repetitive abuse, and current affliction due to relived experience. In the specific case of women, there are reports of suicide ideation and attempts. . It is concluded that the trauma and the rejection are consistent with the construction of an “existential no-place”.
