Resumen
To elaborate this article, we began with our experience as anthropologists in a participatory design project in which a textile bag with digital components called La Encomienda was created and used. The project sought to link groups of women belonging to different memory sewing circles in Colombia and a transdisciplinary research team that included professionals trained in design and anthropology. The bonding that took place during La Encomienda's travels was supported by practices of careful listening. Some of these were related to dialogues regarding experiences about the armed conflict and the possibilities of reconciliation in Colombia. Other practices emerged from the design process that accompanied that listening. In both cases, La Encomienda formed a variety of new relationships. In this reflection we focus on three types of stories that capture the ways in which those connections unfold in order to think carefully about design practices and the role that artifacts play in their configuration. These are stories of meetings, care and listening.

Resumen
This article assesses the role played by the information design of the interactive visualization of the press in the spread of the COVID 19 pandemic, taking as a case study the newspaper The New York Times, a world reference in scientific journalism that has played a fundamental role to report on this health crisis. To do this, a content analysis method was integrated into different interactive journalistic visualizations (N=103) that the newspaper published from December 2019 (beginning of the pandemic) to December 2020 (beginning of the first acquisitions of vaccines), and were coded to determine, identify and examine detailed patterns in three axes of study: the informative approach, visual and multimedia resources and type of interaction. The results indicate that the design of interactive press information in the dissemination of the COVID 19 pandemic focuses mainly on data journalism through visualizations with non-figurative and hybrid graphical interfaces with access to geo-located databases that offer the possibility of exploring the visualization of data in an innovative way and in real time on the total number of contagion cases per day (hospitalized, percentage of bed occupancy and number of beds available in hospitals), cases per capita and deaths from coronavirus by state and counties in the United States, as well as other countries. These practices are associated with interoperability activities and globally linked data, which provide the opportunity to generate greater knowledge about the behavior of this pandemic in the world and allow more effective management of risks to human health.

Resumen
For a brief period of time, the late 1970s, a small flux of singular art publications were printed and spread among a reduced community of artists in Santiago. From a historiographic perspective, this is today considered a whole editorial juncture: Chilean artists got involved in designing publications in an unparalleled manner. The year 1975 was the consensual point of departure, a date which has been determined to the only published number of the magazine Manuscritos. The ideas there published meant an experience of reflexive production where new ways of doing were essayed, as well as new concepts for naming editorial processes, which were later adopted by different artists linked to the project, —whether as collaborators or as readers— to design their task in other projects made generally at the eaves of the exhibition of their own works. The following paper seeks to analyze the historical frame and the intellectual references which were fundamental in the formulation of the concept of rewriting —a concept formulated by Manuscritos’ chief editor Ronald Kay— as well as the background which configures the singular notion of editorial design, as a conception by which written information acquires new meaning at printing, as a product of graphical decisions, and to establish their mode of implementation in an editorial project.

Resumen
The following article presents an inclusive research and development process that aims to co-create a technological support system for cognitive accessibility in urban settings. An inclusive research and co-design methodology is proposed, carried out by a multidisciplinary group from the areas of education, sociology, engineering and design, in conjunction with an advisory group of 11 adults with intellectual disabilities, who participate as experts by experience, adopting the role of co-researchers and co-designers of supports that promote independent living. Among the results, a pictographic language co-designed with the advisory group is described and the PICTOS application is presented to support and evaluate cognitive accessibility in face-to-face or physical services. The final discussion addresses the learnings about the impact of cognitive accessibility and inclusive research in co-design processes.

Resumen
The captaincy-generals and governors’ way to act and their trajectories are an important tool to discuss local power and their arrangements. Considering that the Portuguese empire was established as a complex governance network, we propose in this article analyze some manifestations of the administered from the time when the captaincy-generals and governors’ administration in the Captaincy of Paraíba in the first half of the seventeen hundred. To do so, we revised handwritten sources contained in the Arquivo Histórico Ultramarino and documents held by the Sesmarias do Império Luso-Brasileiro Platform, to examine the compliments and complaints against the regal administrators. Finally, it was verified that these documents, besides informing the crown on the performance of the governors’ conduct, also hid defense strategies of personal interests and privilege preservation.

This paper, we will demonstrate the political scene of the year 1837 in Rio de Janeiro. We understand that this rivalries context between government and opposition deputies, outlining their ideas through newspapers, gradually created a favorable environment for the emergence of political parties in the Empire. Thus, this article sought to determine the main themes that led the groups to conflict that year, until the abdication of Diogo Antônio Feijó. To analyze the sources, we used the study of methodology of political languages, with a theoretical basis in the conception of political culture.

In the sequence of the advances made after 1985, the rise of bolsonarism marks another moment of reflux of Human Rights (HHRR). So, this article advances on a specific field: the incidence of bolsonarism in higher education, seen as an expression of second-generation HHRR. Based on a qualitative methodology, it hypothetically establishes that, if bolsonarism corresponds to a neoconservative, often fascist worldview, then the policies of the Jair Bolsonaro government for Higher Education will necessarily be restrictive, attacking historical achievements, disarticulating legal-institutional bases and seeking to change the modus operandi of this educational segment. With regard to its results, it is demonstrated that bolsonarism has attacked the right to access to Higher Education both in its principle and in its effectiveness.
