Resumen
The Limoncocha Biological Reserve (RBL) in Ecuador is of considerable ecological importance, and it hosts species of flora and fauna of significant scientific interest. Due to its geographical location, it presents a risk of contamination of its environmental components: water, soil, and sediments, due to oil exploitation, agriculture, and other anthropogenic activities characteristic of the area. The presence of several productive oil fields, as well as agricultural plantations in the area, are of vital importance for the Ecuadorian economy; however, they produce reliable, liquid and gaseous discharges, with a concentration of toxic substances, which must be evaluated and counteracted, such This is the case of Arsenic. The present study assessed the level of this element in the environmental factors mentioned in the RBL, through its detection and quantification by chemical analysis using Atomic Absorption with the generation of hydrides from samples collected between April 2015 and April 2016. Data on the concentrations of this substance were compared with the Ecuadorian law and with international reference values to determine if the inhabitants of the RBL, mostly of Kichwa ethnic group, present exposure for the activities they develop in the environmental factors studied. Allowing, establish the environmental inventory of the area and have reference values to determine the most appropriate management of this natural reserve.

Resumen
This study examines the impact of energy-related economic variables on environmental degradation in Ecuador under the Kuznets Environmental Curve (EKC) approach. This model used the methodology of cointegration based on autoregressive distributed lag model during the period 1980-2014, analyzing the impact of the consumption of electricity from renewable sources, dry natural gas and oil in per capita terms in relation to CO2 emissions from energy consumption. The results do not verify the EKC hypothesis; however, it was found that the consumption of energy from renewable sources is not significant for the model. Model forecasts for 2025 indicate an increase in CO2 emissions from energy consumption in Ecuador.

Resumen
The present dissertation has as purpose to promote a deep reflection on the affective relations between adults and children, to determine its incidence degree in the growth and healthy development of young people, boys and girls.
To achieve this objective, figures are extracted from the baseline conducted in the province of Napo, corroborated and compared with other research work in the local and national level; once results were obtained in the cantonal survey on the treatment of adults and children they are presented, from the Cantonal Council of Children and Adolescents. Finally, complaints of infringement of rights registered by the Cantonal Protection of Rights Board will be analyzed to try to lead to a kind of outline towards the construction of a culture of peace. The complexity of the subject promotes an interdisciplinary approach, beyond the statistics and conceptions we must have a plural and wide view that scare away the antagonistic tendencies that consider the affective issue without value, and the invariable adjudication of the socio-affective relationship patterns.

It is intended to show what kind of platforms the Ecuadorians use to inform themselves, as well as to measure the level of concern about the credibility of the contents they consume and experiences with the fake news. We used the quantitative methodology with the application of a questionnaire to a non-probabilistic sample conformed by 384 people. Among the results are the main social networks used to inform themselves and where they appear, to a greater extent, the false news.

Resumen
The expansion strategy for "Parrilla del Ñato" through franchises in the city of Manta, is an entrepreneurial case of distribution of exclusive foods to a sector promoted by tourism. The research tries to discover the level of acceptance of the enterprise in the city of Manta, with the purpose of increasing the market share and investing in new long-term projects. There are different business tactics that firms can implement for it, but it is necessary to evaluate with effectiveness and efficiency each of them, otherwise it would have a negative impact on the company's cash flow. That´s why, it is essential to study the current situation of the organization before making decisions, being these ones managerial or administrative.
The strategic administration suggests developing an analysis of the internal or external factors that affect the companies, before implementing effective strategies, for this reason the present case study evaluates the current status of the enterprise through academic instruments, which allows the researcher to make viable the success of the investment in a new strategic sector. This company has the operative and logistical tendency to be more profitable, since it maintains a good grilled meat product purchased with its trusted suppliers, in addition to keep a good quality service. The problem that arises is the stagnation in the city of Guayaquil and in the Samborondón sector, being the reason why it is important to expand through franchises in Manta city.

Resumen
The goal of the present work was to define and understand the criteria that lead to the formation of indicators in order to understand the variables regarding the right to cohabit common spaces in sustainable conditions. This is a reference of qualifying cities in metropolitan areas based on the theories of habitability, urban competitiveness and new urbanism. In methodological terms, the axes of permeability, variety, robustness, legibility and richness were analyzed. These show the social, economic and environmental dimensions in which the categories of measurement were classified. All are signs of inclusive growth and principles of habitability in favor of urban competitiveness. The results of this study are reflected in the interpretation of those categories that suggests the design of indicators to delimit the meaning and performance of institutional projects and policies. This work is in favor of the decision making of the groups to improve the quality of life in the cities of metropolitan areas of the valley of Mexico.

The objective of this research is to investigate the management processes and the problems of SMEs through a documentary research and deductive-quantitative analysis because in recent years the literature review, discussion and discussion on the subject in question has been extended and deepened. The results obtained from research revealed: (1) technological delay (2) lack of associativity of SMEs evidencing, a deficiency in internal management and difficulty in facing national and international competitions. The contribution of this research focuses on delving into the specific causes of these problems, to determine them and can help improve the productive development of entrepreneurs and microentrepreneurs.

Resumen
Before launching a product to the market, from the gastronomic point of view, it is necessary to assess whether or not the different attributes that characterize it are accepted by the population. For this, it will be essential to carry out a sensory evaluation based on the organoleptic properties that this product presents through the perception generated with the help of the senses. This study aims to propose practical formats that allow the evaluation of certain criteria present in a culinary product, both analytically and affectively. As a final result, two basic instruments, technical and methodological in nature, are presented on a bibliographic basis, which are used for the development of gastronomic tests; a product orientation and another consumer orientation. Under this dynamic, it is concluded that, the existence of a sensory analysis tool will allow to measure the various organoleptic perceptions of foods that interact with the organs of the classical senses (sight, smell, taste, touch and auditory), which are found interpreted in the appearance, smell, taste, texture and sound of a gastronomic product.

Resumen
Traditionally, research, as a scientific endeavor, has been considered as an exclusive activity for elite academic groups; nevertheless, the current demands of society and Academia have brought about a greater need for developing scientific studies and reporting on them in academic publications. Faced with this reality, students and professionals of all fields of knowledge, including, of course, Education, have turned toward the development of scientific research processes. For this reason, this article offers basic notions regarding Research Methodology, in an attempt to motivate those individuals who are taking their first steps in this field. The paragraphs to follow provide a brief introduction to the topic, and succinct analysis of the diverse research methods and the components of these processes, namely: participants; data gathering, analysis, exploration, and representation; as well as, interpretation and validation of results.
