This academic product makes out and problematizes those behavioral dynamics focused on the occupational group mentioned; tailors, and its economical labored world inserted in the cantons already mentioned and the global labored relation. It is based on primary sources, most specifically interviews. Those interviews were applied to tailors in the region in matter during 2016, with the intention to recreate dynamics and trajectories for hand workers such as artisans in the second half of the 20th century all around the villages, small town conceptualized in this paper as Costa Rican peripheries. Resumen
Barrio Luján is a neighborhood located south of Costa Rica's capital, being part of the Cathedral district since 1868, in this neighborhood the working class found a home, which despite the increasing urban development of recent decades, it preserves the characteristics of a working-class neighborhood, with traditional activities passed down from generation to generation. Furthermore, it has been characterized by its communal organization on two main fronts: the community development and the flood management events caused by the Ocloro River. This river has changed over time, not only as a result of the pollution load of solid and liquid waste that it now receives, but also as a result of piping work done in some sections of the river bed, to try to control flooding. This document aims to describe the dynamic process that Barrio Luján has gone through, in order to facilitate understanding of the current situation of the Ocloro´s river and its impact on the environment and the community.

Resumen
The continuous sending of Franciscans to the Spanish Indies between 1577 to 1620 was proof of their need for the consolidation of the Empire, especially in places where there was not so much presence of secular authorities. The commissioners were, at least among the Franciscans, in charge of bringing missionaries to the Indies from the various convents and houses of formation of the Metropolis in the Iberian Peninsula. The number of franciscans who arrived in the Indies practically doubled the Dominicans, their closest antagonists. In this context, an approximation of the 40 groups of Franciscans who came to the viceroyalty of Peru of the 133 groups, sent to America and Asia, will be carried out between 1577 and 1620. Some religious in these groups became bishops, chroniclers, and even saints

Resumen
The objective of this essay is to analyze the Zionist-Costa Rican discourse about property rights and the Jewish settlement in Palestine published in HATIKVA during 1943-1945, in order to understand in historical perspective, the position of the Jewish community in Costa Rica regarding the Palestinian territory and the Arab population. The research follows the ethnicity approach based on the condition of similar existence characterized by the Jewish condition, the ideological affinity and the symbolic forms of the traditional system of the group. In addition, the essay analyzed the higher-level semantic relations and the strategies of legitimization of the discourse. This has shown a discourse with a teleological and linear interpretation of Jewish history from the Ashkenazi ethnocentric perspective. Besides, the discourse reveals the construction of a new identity paradigm through the exaltation of the millinery ethos and the Hebraization of the Palestinian territory that legitimize the right of Jewish property and settlement in Palestine. Additionally, the discourse exhibits a binary logic in which the otherness of the Arab-Oriental is exploited under a domination and hegemonic vision of the Ashkenazi group over the rest of the Jewish ethnic groups and the Arab population.

Through reviewing numerous official, statistical, scientific and technical documents, it´s shown that Costa Rican State has directed significant and continuous investment to incorporate regions into national economic model and ensure access to essential services. However, these actions have not been enough to reverse regional conditions of poverty and inequality.

Resumen
The role of foreign companies in the Argentine economy has been arousing the interestof historians in recent years. The most recent contributions, although of vital importance, have focused on more global examinations than on specific national cases. In this paper wepropose to analyze the role of foreign German companies in the Argentine economy betweenthe years 1960 and 1970. From a database prepared by a team of Argentine researchers, comparative variables such as the volume of capital, the specific branches and the numberof firms registered between both decades. A relative importance of German capital hasbeen observed during the stage of the second cycle of foreign investment and the secondphase of Import Substitution Industrialization (ISI); but some significant nuances were alsoestablished between large, medium and s

Resumen
Historically, the development of rail transport in Costa Rica was a function of agro-exports. Thus, the railways to the Pacific and the Caribbean meet the objective of communicating coffee-producing areas and subsequently, bananas, with the main ports of the country. This chapter is based on the conjecture that this infrastructure whose first great technological vestige is the Northern Railway Company, from the United Fruit Company, and which possesses the Costa Rica Railway Company, contributes to explain the causes of the lack of necessary protective measures, to protect the lives of human and human beings in general, at the level of institutions; the beliefs and daily practices of Costa Ricans, as well as, in material aspects, such as infrastructure. In addition, we attend to a series of modifications in social dynamics, conflicts and ways of relating to death, following railway accidents. Most of the cases that we address in this chapter, are of passengers of the train, as well as of people and animals that were beaten or run over by it, because our objective is to explain the exposure to accidents of the users, and in places where humans and animals live.
