Resumen
The transformations that have occurred in recent years in Cuban Higher Education, respond to the need to prepare new generations to conduct themselves in an interdisciplinary society, however, it is practical to teach subjects in isolation despite the fact that among them there are close links and relationships. Educators have the challenge of creatively becoming protagonists of the development of the teaching-learning process in higher education and can provide original ideas to discover and specify in classes the interrelation between the different subjects of the curriculum. In the present work the experiences obtained by applying anInterdisciplinary Curricular Strategy (ECI) that reveals actions for the Biomedical Engineer's training are exposed. It proposes changes in the career, from the curricular and didactic activity, with emphasis on a redesign of the Plan of study; harmonic integration of the Integrative Discipline (Bioengineering) and the BasicBiomedical Sciences (Biological Sciences), as well as the use of practical tools to teach classes with an interdisciplinary approach, placing even in the same teaching scenario, two or more teachers involved in planning in different moments of the formation.KEY WORDS: Interdisciplinary curricular strategy, Biomedical Engineer

Resumen
The new functions for the professional profile, derived from the social mission that was endorsed to the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Investment in 2014 generate the necessity of an approach to the postgraduate model for the training of specialists. The training of those specialists at the Training Center for Trade and Investment lacks external links with undergraduate courses for preparing employment stages and postgraduate training taking into account a systemic articulation of the main organizational professional training and academic training. For this, transformations are necessary. As a starting point for the required model transformations for the specialist postgraduate education, the optional course is of vital importance for the students’ awareness in broad profile specialties to seek for an aim and attain a permanent education at the International Trade to get prepared for work and life. In this waythey will fulfill equilibrium between the scientific and technical training and a full spiritual development.Key words: optional course, starting point, students.

Resumen
One of the challenges imposed by the contemporary world is the linking of universities with social changes, as centers that generate a cognitive capital that can and must configure new realities with commitment and social responsibility. This is a reflection on the extension work of the university and its management as a public good generating institution, which acquires greater relevance in today's world, with ample debate in the academic space in search of vindicating the citizen's right. The popular education of Paulo Freire, and the Participatory Action Research, are referents in this paper in function of an extension agent for the local development and the growth of the professionals of the academy; based on an experience of the Faculty of Social Communication, fruit of pre-professionalpractice. It is the result of two years of extension experience by the authors.

Resumen
21st century students demand that learning sessions be more challenging and exciting, and education has become the resource humanity needs to grow as a society, supported by tools that innovate learning sessions. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the influence of online gamification tools such as Kahoot and Quizizz in the process of feedback of student learning from the secondary level of regular basic education, the reasons that justify the research are: the educational strategies for optimal learning are constantly changing and propose a series of challenging activities seeking to transcend the learning sessions to become part of the student's life for which first took a test of previous knowledge about the issues of Educational Technology, where most of the students involved have basic knowledge by placing them on a scale of process, a second assessment is applied with respect to the knowledge in the process and the final test in which students present significant progress using the platforms, demonstrating their effectiveness for learning feedback; also despite the similarity of the platforms, through Quizizz students present a greater response to feedback of learning compared to Kahoot demonstrated through aspects of software, hinders optimal feedback of learning.

Resumen
The presented work shows the need to transform the educational orientation that is made in the teaching-learning process (PEA) for the training of engineers. Theoretical, empirical and statistical research methods are used to reach results. Theoretical references are systematized related to the educational orientation, the teaching-learning process and the pedagogical diagnosis. The study allowed the determination of indicators to diagnose the educational orientation in the PEA. The results of the diagnosis made at the second year of the Mechanical Engineering career at the "José Antonio Echeverría" Technological University of Havana, demonstrate the need to provide educational guidance from the PEA itself in a renewed manner taking into account a positive communication, stimulation of thezone of proximal development as well as the use of mediation and group coordination, which will favor the self-determination of the students. Actions are based on the transformation of the educational orientation in the PEA towards a higher form that allows the personal growth of the students through the teachingactivities.

Resumen
The identification of professional competences allows the setting of performance expectations and development plans. In the professional training system in recent years, curricula have been designed focusing on competencies, based on the social request expected from professionals in training or already in practice, thelatter subjected to a system of continuous postgraduate training, due to the need to adapt themselves to the changing contexts which demand new knowledge, skills and values, to successfully fulfill their duties. Considering the growth of the technological infrastructure in the country in all areas, and taking into accountlabor and territorial factors, the groups of teachers in charge of the professionals´ training have faced the challenge of using Virtual Teaching-Learning Environments to favor the development of professional competencies, among them, thecommunicative competence in the English language. This paper aims at presenting a Commercial English Online Course for developing communicative competence in the English language of foreign trade professionals from CIMEX Enterprise Group, which is based on the use of such environments. The results ofthe course implementation are also given in this work.
