Resumen
In the countries branding it is essential to highlight the intangible values that represent citizens, but the Ecuadorian country brand Ama La Vida focused on the material, natural and geographical aspects, which generates a fragmented national image. This study aims to identify how a country brand can be consistent, efficient and enduring, through a review of theories regarding the correct placemarks construction and a research about Ecuadorian identity. A benchmarking was carried out with other successful regional campaigns that was complemented by interviews with professionals in the areas of marketing, organizational psychology and corporate communication. It was concluded that the Ecuadorian country brand needed to include, within its key concept, human-intangible values that allow its citizens to develop the sense of belonging to become natural spokespersons.

Resumen
This article purports to evaluate the management of small and micro businesses, starting from the application of a measuring instrument called “Competitivity Matrix”; this instrument was designed in accordance with NTC 6001: 2008 and NTC-ISO 9000:2015. In the matrix we find aspects that must be complied with by a micro business that aims to be competitive; the aspects that are considered consist of operative, supportive and direction processes. Research aims to be descriptive and its focus is mixed. The measuring instrument was applied to 402 businesses of the tourism sector; as a result, it was ascertained that the level of competitivity increases when work is performed jointly; this occurs because, according to measuring, the competitivity of a company that works jointly is 58%, while those companies that work individually reach only 31.5%. The instrument, therefore, allows identification of the improvement opportunities that arise when working jointly and thereby increase business competitivity.

Resumen
The study analyzes the rotation of high level public managers in Ecuador and their use as an instrument of political trust from the Executive, in contrast to a life cycle model of managerial performance, to determine if it is a problem to obtain results in the management. A qualitative and diachronic analysis of rotation rates and the time of permanence in the position of the managers is carried out from a sample of Ministries that represent an important weight in relation to the State management model for the five-year period 2012-2016; as a result, it is shown that with high levels of turnover problems are configured to effect a professional management and, although this is used as a political and electoral tool for the movement of the authorities, at these levels its strategic utility decreases.

Resumen
The need to improve productivity in the Public Sector of Argentina is what has given rise to this research project which is divided into two stages: a qualitative one and a quantitative one. The aim is to find the differences between Process Management in public and private environments, and the key success factors for implementation in the Government Administration. The focus of the study is mixed and from the perspective of Economic and Business Sciences. After this first phase, the prioritization of political factors over those of public interest, the lack of awareness of resource optimization, the oversizing of the structure, the overlapping of tasks and the lack of staff training have been highlighted as differences. As key factors for its implementation are validated a strong sponsor, adequate training and availability of internal personnel with experience in the subject.

Resumen
The expectations that economic agents make about macroeconomic variables can be an important anticipatory mechanism of ups and downs in the economic cycle. The research question is: Is there then a causal relationship between business expectations and the economic cycle that allows predicting the behavior and the relationship between the two? Thus, it is sought to investigate whether the economic cycle is a determinant in the business expectation formation or viceversa, if expectations are a cycle determinant. To answer this question, verify the Granger causality test, then an Autoregressive Model and another of Autoregressive Vectors will be applied. It is concluded that for the Ecuadorian economy the economic cycle depends on business expectations because for each percentage point that increases business confidence in the previous quarter the production of the real period increases by 0.17%, therefore, expectations act as a mechanism for anticipate ups and downs cycle.
