This article is an adaptation of Sun Tzu's interesting and quirky classical masterpiece “The Art of War” (2005) to high-level competitive sport. Specifically in team sports. The author teaches us the strategy to wisely apply the knowledge of human nature in moments of confrontation. It is a strategic treatise that, extrapolated to the playing fields, offers a unique paradigm of improvement and effort. It turns out to be an advisable manual for the figure of the sports coach. The objective of this article is to present the relationship between the elements involved inthe battles of war and in sports battles, so that the ingredients of war are transferred to sport, and from a psychological perspective, it provides a way of seeing competition, of facing challenges, of performing at the highest level, of trying win... ofachieve victory. The essential contents to achieve the objectives in sport are based on the aspects that Sun Tzu collects in his military treatise: strategic criteria; In the battle; the planning; the order; the force; Empty and full; The struggle; variables; maneuvers; the land; the nine kinds of parties; the provision of information; the attack. The conclusions reached in this adaptation are, among others, that the coach must strengthen his authority and mark a disciplinary line, which means organization, chain of command and logistics. Also, select the brave to attack, the careful to defend and the intelligent to communicate. The skill in the lineup will determine the strength of the team. Likewise, the coach must be provided with information for the planning and organization of a good team, so that he finally knows that it is not enough to know how to attack, but it is necessary to know how to prevent others from attacking you.

The results indicate that it would be important to include within the psychomotor work in early childhood education, the skills and abilities aimed at enhancing the personal autonomy of children of these ages.

The organization and functioning of a sports club is not as clear and simple as might be anticipated a priori. An analysis has been carried out on the aspects to take into account when working in a sports club from the board, through the coaching staff and players, to the most specific aspects of training and competition. With this alone, success in the competition will not be achieved, but there are various points or fields to be addressed, which are of great importance to facilitate this achievement. The functions that each member of the technical staff must have, as well as the different management departments of the club, are added. The objectives have been (I) to determine the different parameters to be taken into account in a sports club, (II) to describe functions and characteristics of the different professional positions and/or parameters mentioned and (III) to encourage professionals in the sports field to achieve sporting success in his club. To finish, it is concluded that aspects such as professionalism in the different areas of the club, interdisciplinary and collaborative work, as well as a good working environment, are fundamental aspects to take into account when wanting to reach this achievement.

This paper aims to analyze the evolutionary development of attention and obtainNormative data of the d2 selective attention test in schoolchildren who practice sports andthat these are similar to results obtained in previous studies. 14 schoolchildren participated (8girls) aged between 10 and 12 years (11.32  .63 years). All theParticipants had minimal competitive experience and were tested onsame day after a medium intensity workout. Test resultsshow an improvement in the results of attention in the post-test, although these differences are notare statistically significant, likewise we did not find significant differences in thelevel of attention in terms of gender, although the results of the girls are slightlysuperior to the boys that could be due to the maturational level of both sexes in thisevolutionary stage.

Introduction: power is an important variable in performance assessment. With the increasing availability of power measurement devices, it is simple to associate watts to the running Functional Threshold Power measured in watts (rFTPw) as indicated by Vance (2016). The main goal of this study is to find the most appropriate methodology for rFTPw determination. Material and methods: five different methodologies were carried out in 9 recreational triathletes (22.9 ± 4.8 years) to calculate rFTPw: 3-minute test, 3-minute – 9-minute test, 3-minute – 9-minute Stryd test, 3-laps – 6-lap test and 30-minute test. All tests were performed on an athletics track with a Stryd footpod. Results: the 3-minute – 9-minute test presented a lower average error in comparison to the mean rFTPw value (rFTPw M) of all power and pace measurement tests. Conclusions: the 3-minute – 9-minute test could be the best choice regardless of the distance or duration of the competition because rFTPw changes depending on the duration of each test. The watts associated with Critical Speed (CS) and obtained in the 3-minute test are not a valid measure, given their greater average error in both power and pace. The 30-minute test could be an alternative to determine rFTPw through the data obtained in a training session or competition of similar length. The tests with the lowest average error in power are the ones with the lowest error in pace. Therefore, pace remains the main variable to monitor external load in running.

Introduction: The objectives of the study were to show the percentile values of different motor tests in Spanish children's skiers and compare them with their performance levels between the different age and sex groups. Methodology: 135 Spanish skiers (53 girls and 82 boys) aged 11-14 years and children's category, performed 11 motor tests: 1) Forward trunk flexion; 2) Flamingo; 3) Hexagon; 4) Harre's obstacle course; 5) 5x10m; 6) Long jump; 7) Squat jump; 8) Counter Movement Jump; 9) Drop Jump; 10) Continuous vertical jumps for 15 seconds, and 11) 45 seconds. Results: The results of the two-way ANOVA showed numerous statistically significant differences between the age and gender categories. Conclusions: The choice of tests used for the prediction of sports performance in children in this study may be useful to assess physical abilities and control training in alpine skiing at the age of 11-14 years.

Introduction: the aging of the population is a fact that entails changes that affect today's society. This increase favors an increase in the number of falls in the elderly. Material and method: the objective of this systematic review is to identify and analyze the effectiveness of physical exercise programs for the prevention of falls in people over 65 years of age. This review has been based on the compilation of studies from 2008 to 2018 where the effects of physical exercise programs aimed at reducing falls in older people were evaluated. The databases used for the review were PubMed, Science Direct, Scopus and Web of Science. A total of 19 experimental studies were obtained from this search. Results: The results show a positive relationship between people who perform these exercise programs and their improvement in balance, strength, and gait.

Introduction: according to Gómez and Sánchez (2014), the motor commitment time is that time in which the students dedicate it to a motor activity, considered as a measure of teaching effectiveness as it is the time in which more learning occurs in a physical education class. Material and method: in this work the main objective has been to assess the time of motor commitment of the students, so that I have registered a sample of 20 students of the first cycle of primary education over 4 weeks (1 month), at different hours of the day. The tool used has been a stopwatch and a record sheet where the moments of motor activity of the students during the session were collected. Results: an average of 54.29% of the motor engagement time in physical education sessions was obtained. Conclusions: the time of motor engagement in our study is low, being higher in the session after recess and lower during the first session in the morning.
