The tendency of human beings to transform the rural or urban environment in which they live is part of their nature and the gardens, parks and squares of historical character located in Mexico City (CDMX), are subject to these changes, so this research aims to place them as protagonists worthy of being preserved and position them as places of great utility, which can give the population that visit them a set of knowledge that endures from generation to generation. Given that such sites combine unique architectural and biological characteristics that together provide environmental and cultural services of paramount importance to society, derived from a pre-Hispanic tradition, but that contradictoryly do not have an optimal guardianship for their safeguarding, in the General Monuments Law in its last amendment of 2015. A local legal alternative that contains favorable elements to protect such sites as part of Cultural Landscapes is the Law of Safeguarding the Architectural Urbanistic Heritage of the CDMX. In this sense, an inventory is a useful tool to be able to create a catalogue that helps to establish the rules and procedures for their proper management and position them within the Mexican laws, in order to help solve the destructive anthropogenic tendencies when considering new routes in their management.

The enormous population growth of the cities in recent years has caused an increase in the demand for goods. In the Pachuca city, capital of the State of Hidalgo (Mexico), we can find a large number of stores, markets and tianguis, in addition to the main supplier of supplies for the general population; the "Central de Abastos" (CA), which has been causing a problem due to its relative proximity to highly populated colonies of high socioeconomic status and other facilities such as the Bus Terminal. This article presents a proposal for the relocation of the CA, replacing it with distribution centers (CDs) located through a mathematical model of optimization in strategic locations. As a first approximation for the location of the CDs, thirty neighborhoods were taken from the city, as a sample in the study, and by means of a survey in the population, the maximum distance traveled by consumers willing to travel for the supply of inputs was determined. The model´s solution found that there should be four, the least number of CDs located in the neighborhoods of: Santiago Tlapacoya, San Pedro Nopancalco, Lomas de Vista Hermosa and Villas de Pachuca.

This article consists in implementing a Cloud-based service that provides the most advanced face recognition and detection algorithms with attributes under the Microsoft Azure platform. For its implementation, in the state of the art, biometric techniques used today for the recognition of facial patterns are analyzed and a general approach is to consider the existence of noise in the images to be analyzed when comparing them with the databases considering the alignment, normalization and scaling of each of the images tested with this service. With regard to the implementation of these services, differentiated experiments have been carried out in each of the phases of the project development, so that their strengths and weaknesses in the Cloud service can be evaluated. The analysis of the processed images has focused on observing the accuracy potential, efficiency and speed of the service in the Cloud. In addition, it was necessary to carry out an anthropometric study as an experimental basis to test the service and thus carry out a more thorough analysis of the face, considering in the project the following main functions: the detection of faces with attributes and facial recognition. The development of the project has two main lines of work: in the first line a service was implemented based on the libraries of the Face API of Microsoft Azure for facial recognition in C # whose performance was evaluated with a local database and later in the Cloud from Microsoft, the design and implementation was later adapted and improved for its real-time operation, the second line of work has an experimental approach, carrying out differentiated tests of the service in each of the development stages, where it was possible to carry out an evaluation in detail. The experiments focused on the study of the most relevant stages for the analysis of accuracy, performance and speed in the functions of: grouping, detection, checking, identification and comparison of faces and recognition of emotions.

All the products that are used in everyday life are the result of chemical processes in the industry where they are developed, requiring great amounts of energy which is generated by combustion of different fuels that in turn release to the atmosphere large concentrations of greenhouse gases (GHG). This essay presents examples and arguments of how the transformation of matter has a negative impact on the environment and human health. GHG emissions into the atmosphere is becoming more and more worrisome as they origin the greenhouse effect, the cause of climate change. Also, the transformation of matter also causes emissions of other highly toxic compounds for living beings. This essay shows the problems that exist in the corridor that comprises the municipalities of Apaxco, Atotonilco de Tula and Tula de Allende, México.

Mexico is among the first fifteen countries where the major industrial accidents had occurred between 1917 and 2011. The accident happened in Tekchem, an agrochemical plant located in Salamanca, Guanajuato is one of the twelve events that occurred in our country in the mentioned period. In this study, we present a review of how this accident forced the environmental authorities to pay attention to an environmental liability that was formed for almost 50 years, which to date continues without being remedied in its entirety.

Mathematical modeling is a very useful tool to understand,in a simple way, some real problems from reality that are of ourinterest. In the case of the diseases transmission, mathematicalepidemiology has allowed us to understand the mechanics ofpropagation among the population. Deterministic models suchas SI, SIS, SIR, SEIR, have been widely studied, and are thebasis for more complex models, which include, for example, some vaccination policy. Another alternative is stochastic modeling. In this paper we present two stochastic models, basedon Markov chains. Both models are the stochastic version ofthe classic SIS. The first is a discrete time model, while the secondis a continuous time model. From each of them we presentsimulations, and overlapping with the simulation performed forthe deterministic model.

This work consists of a historical and architectural investigation of the church of San Nicolás Tolentino of the city of Taxco de Alarcón state of Guerrero, whose objective was to discover the historical and symbolic content of such a humble monument. It is one of the many churches built by the first evangelizers of the region: the mendicant friars of the order of San Francisco, they arrived in Cuernavaca in 1525. The same, following the rules of poverty observed for almost three hundred years, they made it from a single nave, with walls of stone masonry seated with mud, in the prehispanic way and with roof of palm to two waters. And despite its marked simplicity, it seems to be a true "palimpsest", where you can clearly read, among other things, three adaptations that through its history were carried out: The first whose factory was in charge by the parents Franciscans in the sixteenth century, the second corresponding to the eighteenth century, and the third to the second half of the nineteenth century. In another sense, it can be said that, the geometric arrangement of the architectural plan of the building, obeyed the canons of proportionality and symbolism of the first churches of Christianity. Not so its location and orientation, since these characteristics do not seem to correspond to the European own traditions, but rather, to a typical context of the "Pre-Hispanic Ritual Landscape". Therefore, it is desirable that knowledge of the attributes of the church of San Nicolás Tolentino brought to light, help to justify their permanence in an increasingly changing urban environment.

One of the critical notions of a physical theory is the distin-ction between general laws and particular conditions. The mis-sion of theoretical physics is the discovery of the fundamentallaws that describe our universe, but also the deepest possibleexplanation of these particular conditions. No-go theorems area valuable resource that provide one of the few guides availablein the search for new physics that can improve our understan-ding of Nature.

Introduction: systemic arterial hypertension (SAH) is the main risk factor for the developing of cardiovascular disease, which the leading cause of death worldwide. One of the best ways to control blood pressure (BP) levels is the combination of lifestyle changes and drug therapy. However, pharmacotherapy is expensive and produces adverse reactions. Thus, it is necessary to find cheap, safe and effective alternative treatments. Hibiscus sabdariffa L. (HS) is a plant that is traditionally used in some countries to treat SAH, which has given rise to various investigations to determine their compounds and their antihypertensive activity. Aim: the present article aims at reviewing the reports that support the antihypertensive activity of extracts from HS in animal and human models Conclusions: the information collected from scientific literature suggests that HS extracts have antihypertensive effects in animals and humans, especially in early stages; however, more studies in advanced stages of hypertension are needed.
