Resumen
This article emphasizes approaches to design which are centered on democratic and disruptive practices. By focusing on artists and designers who embrace a critical edge of the discipline, it begins describinga few themes explored in the symposium Matters of Art & Design Education (MADE), at the Pennsylvania State University, and examines some of the theoretical horizons they point to. In the second part of the article, the author interviews the artist and designer Carlos Rosas, who helped develop, and is currently the Professsor in Charge of the IDS—Interdisciplinary Digital Studio program, a Bachelor of Design (B.Des) program in the School of Visual Arts, at that prestigious research University.

In the interdisciplinary context between Arts and Design, the text is concerned with public space as a physical support and production agent of imagesto build visual narratives. Street Art is a powerful action that leads to the experiences of people while activating political places of speech. It presents references in Lynch (1990) and Mitchell (2017) to think about the image production of cities as reciprocal actions, affirming female protagonism in this discourse (Butler 2017, Davis 2016). In this sense, the project “Holy Women” (2018) constitutes anobject-resistance, which happens to circulate through public space as an artistic and activist practice.

Resumen
Throughout the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, with the beginning of a new stage in the history of culture based on the ever-increasing presence of media and imagery, a number of thinkers are beginning to take the media as their starting point. the theoretical development. Based on this assumption, this article is divided into three parts. In the first, we analyze the thoughts of Vilém Flusser and Walter Benjamin that point to the importance of images in the construction of historical narrative. In the second, we discuss ‘the thought by images’ of art historian Aby Warburg. Finally and as a case study, we made a critical reading of the exhibition ISSOÉOSSODISSO by brazilian artist Lenora de Barros, presented at Paço das Artes in partnership with the Oswald de Andrade Cultural Workshop in 2016.

Resumen
This research aims to establish relationships between the technical and poetic scopes of interventions performed at the Casa de Cora Coralina Museum, inthe city of Goiás, on the banks of the Rio Vermelho, revealing technological patterns resonated with the author’s poetic senses. Metaphorically, the author’s writing flows of consciousness sound like escapism in her memories, in which the river and the red earth, elements of her home, translate their strictly visceral blood relation into its essence. The earth, water and air, stained, represent, in this interface, the triangle of life, being central elements of the coming and going of Cora’s poetry. Portraits of local color, the methodological path, with a phenomenological approach, travels through streets, alleys and spouts, producing boils, murmurs, echoing and draining poetry. Technology, as a cultural artifact, is inscribed in this rhetoric of poetry as symbiosis between the author’s lyrics, verses, poetry and prose, as well aswalkers who glimpse a path of dissociative voices in the city of Goiás

Resumen
Learning can be defined as skill acquisition to accomplish a specific task. The idea that we can acquire cognitive skills and make them accessible to new functions through a learning process has been much studied since Gestalt Theory (KOFFKA, 1975), which has determined that the performance of a task would depends on previous experienced performances. We are currently dealing with the assumption of machine learning, and this has led us to revisit some of these principles. In previous work, we have established relationships between sense experiences and the representational aspects of experiences in what we call Conformed Thoughts (LAURENTIZ, 2017, 2018), that will assist us at this time. We will be focused on how such thoughts (namely patterns, codes, sets of codes, and algorithms) end up giving rise to new representational systems, always considering the intrinsic condition of the relationship between experience, sensations and cognition.

Resumen
The presente article proposes a dialogue between fashion design and philosophy, in order to broaden discussions about the normatization of bodies and the production of subjectivity in the context of fashion. A brief overview of the predominant model bodies in the late twentieth century, collaborates to articulate the Body Meets Dress, Dress Meets Body collection (1997) created by the Japanese designer Rei Kawakubo, and the essay The Utopian Body (2013), written by the French philosopher Michel Foucault. This approach leads to reflections on imagined bodies beyond the normalization.

Resumen
The purpose of this research is to generate video art documentary proposals within what this study calls Performative Documentation of Knowledge 2. Passing Testimonies is a multichannel installation that uses multiple technologies to interweave images, testimonials and sounds. Assembled from eight choreographed projections, synchronized with a six-channel sound work, the project documents, in essay form, passages and testimonies of people in a refuge state. Issues such as crossing, traces, dreams, waiting in the refugee camp and the uncertain future are all part of this work. It is at the intersection betweentwo contexts – political art and linguistic hybridity – that we can understand Passing Testimonies. The thematic interdisciplinarity nspired by the theoreticalbases of the fields of art, politics and sociology is formally mirrored by the freedom with which this research mixes technology and documentary art.

Resumen
The essay reflects on some of the dimensions of the image, and their relationship as something that shows, as a revelation of invisible fields, memories, living archives of time. In this way, we will deal with questions like images and ask what is their relation to what they do not see, what is invisible. We hope tocontribute to a discussion about an image, from the understanding that images are representations of the world, or perhaps a world, a particular universe. Representations refer to representations, fold, unfold to multiply to infinity, abandoning reports, states of affairs, as actualities, backwards.
