Resumen
Objetive. This study aimed to identify the evaluation of mothers about Distance Education (DE) for children during the COVID-19 pandemic. Method. About of 425 mothers participated in the study, with a mean age of 37.1 years (SD =7.28). Results. Data were collected through an online form and processed using the IRaMuTeQ software, which allowed performing Prototypical Analysis and Simulation Analysis. The analyzes showed that the mothers considered distance education as a necessary emergency alternative for the continuity of education, although it presents several difficulties for its effectiveness, especially in family mediation. In general lines, most rated distance education as little or not adequate for children.

Resumen
Objective. Emotional reactions to music result from the interaction between the characteristics of the piece, the listener, and the context where musical perception occurs. This work aims to investigate the role of the different characteristics of a musical event in emotional induction. Method. Following PRISMA 2020 guidelines, a search in academic databases (Redalyc, SciELO, ScienceDirect, PubMed y Taylor y Francis) was conducted, selecting 25 empirical articles which propose a relationship between a single exposure to music and psychophysiological response. Results. The reviewed articles suggest that the quality of emotional response to music mainly depends on its musical features, but personal and contextual factors associated with the involvement with the experience would be able to modulate the magnitude of this response.

Resumen
Objective. To analyze the COVID-19 social representations (SR) of older Mexican people from Guadalajara, San Luis Potosí and Morelia, at the beginning and two years after the pandemic. Method. A qualitative exploratory study of two phases, identification of the content and the central nucleus and peripheral elements of the SR, was conducted on 49 older adults from the mentioned cities. Results. The SR in the at the beginning and two years after the pandemic show similarities in the central nucleus with the terms disease, death, fear, and confinement. The differences highlight danger and negative emotions in the former; vaccine and coping in the latter. This makes it possible to identify more elements for COVID-19 management and prevention in the second phase.

Resumen
Objective. The aim of this study was to obtain evidence of empirical validity and accuracy of the Positive Emotions Questionnaire for Children. Method. The first aspect evaluates the underlying structure of five dimensions with exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and internal consistency, with 395 participants aged 10 to 13 years (M = 10.96, SD = .72). The second aspect tests the model with four and five factors with confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and analyzes the convergent validity between positive affect and resilience, and divergent validity with everyday stressors and negative affect in another sample of 467 participants (M = 11.19, SD = .76). Results. The five-factor structure (X²/df = 3.26, p = .000, CFI= .913, RMR= .069, TLI, =.900, RMSEA=.069) is confirmed with high reliability, factorial invariance, and convergent and divergent validity is demonstrated. Differences between boys and girls are reported. Further refinement of the model is recommended to have accurate instruments that measure the positive emotional experience in childhood.

Resumen
Menander and Theophrastus offered an insight into contemporary 4th BC Greek society and illustrated comic figures who deviated from accepted standards of behavior through their oeuvres. This article will attempt to reevaluate their relationship and focus on the similarities and the differences between Menander’s comic characters through his most complete plays and Theophrastus’ Characters. While Theophrastus meticulously examines his characters according to their external vicious traits, he shares little interest from deeper motives. On the other hand, Menander seems to combine both external features and inner motives, in order to depict his character’s deviant dispositions. Therefore, I examine the way specific comic characters are portrayed by means of key words/phrases that occur in both Menander’s and Theophrastus’ texts. Thus, I will bring the two authors together, in order to find resemblances between their character-types and show more clearly ho they choose to study unrefined types, in a humorous and ethical perspective.

Resumen
The famous words of Athena in the Eumenids, framed the relationship between politics and theater or, better, the relationship between the Athenian polis and the scenic scriptures of the Greek playwrights that have come to us. Starting from the assumption of facing two phenomena, democracy and tragedy that are “children” of a time and a precise “space”, I wanted to examine, in a ritual-religious and political key, the verses of Apollo in the Eumenids (734-736) because they place certain firm points of the democratic concept of power through a theatrical work.

Resumen
One of the characteristics of ancient Greek society that endured over several centuries is the joy of living. This joy, which everyone sought in their daily life, was closely related to common beliefs and moral values. This is reflected in the uses of the verb χαίρω, which means «to rejoice, to be glad.» The purpose of the present text is to analyze this verb in the tragedies of Euripides to understand, from the causes of personal joy, the various beliefs, values, and shared conceptions within classical Greek society.

Resumen
This study delves into the usage of λοβός, mainly referred to the earlobe since Homeric Greek, as well as the various hypotheses regarding its etymology. After demonstrating that the main theories – particularly the one based on the connection with the Germanic *lappan- ‘piece, remnant’ – are not exempt from difficulties in terms of phonetic evolution and semantic development, an alternative hypothesis is put forward. This pertains to the botanical use of λοβός as a ‘pod’, suggesting a conceptual image metaphor based on the formal similarity between both referents. This phenomenon is commonly observed in the Greek anatomical lexicon.

Resumen
This paper proposes a commentary to the first two chapters of Aristotle’s Politics. Especially two statements are examined here: 1) the polis is prior by nature to the household and to each of us; and 2) being human needs the koinonia politike to accomplish itself. Both statements are contextualized bringing to the fore the inconmensurability between greek and modern thought.

Resumen
This paper aims to discuss yet once more the extensively commented opening of Plato’s Symposium. Some scholars have readily acknowledged that the second summon οὗτος Ἀπολλόδωρος was intended to be comically rude. Inspecting the examples of vocative οὗτος in Greek drama, I shall argue that there is syntactical and pragmatic evidence that outweighs interpreting the demonstrative pronoun οὗτος as the core point for the alleged joke encapsulated in the text, thus settling the matter in favouring the idea that the banter need be in the first summon ὦΦαληρεύς.
