The Pragmatic and Interactional Functioning of Reduplicated Markers "oui oui", "non non" and "si si"
Saiz Sánchez, Marta
Asociación de Francesistas de la Universidad Española
Resumen
The reduplication of agreement and disagreement markers has been studied in many languages from various theoretical perspectives. The French markers oui oui, non non and si si are often analysed as reinforced versions of the equivalent simple forms. Our aim is to describe the effects of the use of the reduplicated markers in conversation at the level of the relationship between speakers, and at the level of the structuring of the conversation. The theoretical approach used avoids recourse to the notion of insistence, which is difficult to grasp in linguistics. After a presentation of the various theoretical approaches that exist on reduplication, we present the value of reduplication in interaction using a corpus of spontaneous conversations.

Resumen
The theories of argumentation identify three dimensions: the logical, the dialectical and the rhetorical. In this contribution, we expect to highlight the impact of these three dimensions on reference texts for teaching and assessing French and Spanish as first language. The analysis of first language curricula for secondary education demonstrates that the capacity to argue is requested. The requirements of baccalauréat and EBAU exams, reveal what dimension is being privileged in two countries linguistically and culturally similar, as France and Spain, but where the learning situation in secondary education and university is determined by a different educative culture.

Resumen
When he arrived in Montreal in 1976, Dany Laferrière was a twenty-three-year-old Haitian refugee, hungry for literature and new horizons. The comparative approach will focus on the discussions he engages with the giants of world literature facing contrasting postures: Borges refuses the uniform of the cosmopolitan. Montaigne shows himself to be in the mood to regard all men as his compatriots. Diderot is divided. If Charles or Tanizaki focus on the guts, Whitman, like Hector Hyppolite, tells him that intimacy opens up to the cosmos. Like a suit, each of Laferrière’s books has gone through a series of fittings across time and space, revealing the author’s willingness to make himself a stranger to himself.

Resumen
The main objective of this article is the critical study of the first three works of the Franco-Lebanese writer, Georgia Makhlouf. This author is framed in the so-called Francophone xenographies, a theoretical concept based on the study of a wide corpus that includes numerous literary voices arising from imposed or voluntary displacement and that turn to French as a means of expression and symbolic host land. The structural, discursive and thematic axes of each of the three selected texts will be studied in order to show the recurrence and relevance of the notion of cosmopolitanism as the thematic melting pot around which the writer’s identity and literary geography is built.

Resumen
This article intends for the first time to show quantitative data regarding the reception of French-speaking African literature in Spain. Since it was not searchable in any repository, we have used the BDAFRICA bibliographic database to disseminate these unpublished data. Different aspects have been addressed such as the evolution in reception in a time span of 47 years, the number of works by country, the percentage of authors according to gender, the authors published by gender and country, the number of works by gender and country and the impact of the ten most published authors. The results are intended to serve as an essential basis for academic research and inform the editors who are shaping the African canon in Spain.

Title:
French mythological theatre in Spain (1920-1950). Reception and translation
Abstract
This paper analyses the common thread between the adaptation or reinterpretion of Greco-Roman myths and the reception process through translations. All these concepts are influenced by the nature of reading activity, by the prevailing ideological canons and also by passage of time. These parameters decisively map out the nature of adaptations, reinterpretations and translations. In order to study the differences and similarities between these concepts we have selected the time span between the two world wars and a specific literary tradition: the french mythological theatre. The reception of these authors in Spain will be accurately described in the empirical chapter and the conclusions focus on the future perspectives from the point of view of the publishing industry and the performing acts.
Key words: mythology, performing arts, rewriting and adaptation, literary reception, translation, censorship, publishing industry.

Resumen
This work aims at observing and compare the evolution of representations of cultural diversity among African authors of migration over time. Our investigation focuses on the work of three authors, La fabrique de ceremonies by Kossi Efoui; Les petits-fils nègres de Vercingétorix by Alain Mabanckou and Le ventre de l'Atlantique by Fatou Diome. It will show how the levels of consideration of diversity are summarized, the different representations as well as the messages that these works convey in relation to the works published by African authors of negritude.

Resumen
Despite a brief career, the writer Sophie Cottin (1770-1807) enjoyed a dazzling but prodigious literary fame during the First Empire. Nevertheless, works on the reception of this French scholar in the Iberian Peninsula remain almost non-existent. It would seem that she went unnoticed by contemporary Spanish critics, except for an incomplete list of translations published in the mid-19th century. Thus, this first research by way of an outline will attempt to investigate how Cottin’s work was received, the translations, the various reissues and adaptations of her work in Spanish, during the period of 1810-1850.
