Resumen
A reference taxonomic collection deposited in the Department of Paleontology of the Museum of Natural History “Vera Alleman Haeghebaert” of Ricardo Palma University consists of the identifi cation, registration and description of seventeen specimens of the genus Raimondiceras Spath 1924, of which twelve specimens were attributed to the species Raimondiceras raimondii (Gabb, 1877). Th e initial taxonomic study was based on the publications of William More Gabb and Carlos Lissón. In addition, the identifi cation key of the Ammonoidea species of the Morro Solar Group, Valanginian-Hauterivian de Lima, Peru was used. Having lost all the “types”, original specimens of the species, we intend to start the complementary and updated description of the species. Th e place where Antonio Raimondi and Carlos Lissón obtained the fi rst specimens of R. raimondii was specifi ed: the La Herradura Formation outcrops in the hills of the Morro Solar de Chorrillos, Lima. Raimondiceras raimondii was found only in the La Herradura Formation.

Resumen
This study determined the hourly variations in the concentration of methane
(CH4), carbon dioxide (CO2), and oxygen (O2) during 24-hour periods in a
sanitary landfill located in Northeast Brazil, with a predominantly hot tropical
mild semi-arid climate. Data were collected over 24 hours in four campaigns in
November 2014 and January, March, and April 2015. The measurements were
taken in a drain of the sanitary landfill using a portable gas analyzer. We
found that, in general, the highest methane concentrations corresponded to the
highest biogas temperatures. The maximum concentration of CH4 (59.2%)
occurred at a temperature of 36.8ºC, while the minimum concentration of
CH4 (43.2%) was identified at a temperature of 25.4ºC. No relationship was
found between CH4 emissions and rainfall, with temperature being the factor
that most influenced the concentration of this gas.

The objective of this research was to evaluate the influence of climaticvariables of air temperature and rainfall on the occurrence of Chikungunyafever (CHIKF). The study was conducted from 2016 to 2018, with applicationarea in the municipality of Belém (PA). The variables were analyzedbased on descriptive statistics from which mean, standard deviation, coefficient of variation, median, minimum and maximum were determined.Normality tests were performed to define by using the parametric ornonparametric correlation tests. For the variables that presented statisticalsignificance, the multiple linear regression analysis was performed.Seasonality was confirmed with higher CHIKF records in the first half of theyear, when the highest rainfall and mildest temperatures in the region arerecorded. Pearson’s correlation identified an association between CHIKFoccurrences and temperature and precipitation variables in 2016, whichpresented respectively positive and weak association and negative and weakassociation. In Belém, local climatic characteristics favor the maintenance ofChikungunya fever, however in the study of arboviruses other factors such associal and environmental factors should be considered.

The monitoring of residual drugs in the environment has been gainingattention, as they are frequently detected in sewage treatment plants (STP)and reach the water bodies. Therefore, the aim of this study was to evaluatethe presence, concentration and percentage of anti-inflammatory removalin samples of raw sewage and treated effluent from the sewage treatmentplant of Dracena-SP. Two collection points were assessed at the STP namedP1 (raw sewage) and P2 (treated effluent). The collections and analyses wereperformed from March 2017 to February 2018. The samples were preparedby dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction and analyzed by high performanceliquid chromatography. The presence of the drugs diclofenac, ibuprofen andnaproxen was detected in the two analyzed points of the STP. Ibuprofen wasthe compound with the highest concentration in raw sewage (95.92 μgL-1).In winter months, the lowest concentrations of anti-inflammatory drugs inthe raw sewage and the lowest percentages of drug removal in the STP wererecorded. In July, ibuprofen and naproxen were not detected in P1 nor P2.The presence of these drugs in raw sewage is attributed to the disposal of medicines in sinks and toilets, as well as excretion via faeces and urine with drug residues that are not fully absorbedby the human body. The treatment of domestic sewage through stabilization ponds does not completely remove theseanti-inflammatories, providing the input of these substances in surface waters, altering their quality.

Resumen
Carbon stock (EstC) and soil aggregation were studied in and around forestfragments of the Atlantic Forest (AF) and Cerrado (CE) biomes. Soil sampleswere collected from four forest fragments; two in AF and two in CE. Inthe fragments, three internal points were sampled: edge (EF), half radius(HR) and center (FC), besides a point around; no-tillage system (NTS) andpermanent pasture (PP) in AF and CE, respectively. Total organic carbon(TOC) and soil density (Sd) were determined with EstC calculations andaggregate stability. In AF, Sd reached 1.19 Mg m-3. Higher TOC and EstCcontents were verified in the FC, reducing the FC EstC for more peripheralpoints. Less soil structural stability was found in the surrounding NTS areas. The areas of PP around the CE fragments presented higher Sd. The TOCcontents and EstC values were heterogeneous between the internal pointsof the CE fragments. In the CE fragments, the structural variables did notdiffer from the surrounding PP areas. The TOC and EstC indicate the mostconserved FC point in the AF fragments. In CE, the PP areas presented thesame potential of carbon accumulation in subsurface layers in relation tothe fragments. Forest fragmentation, in both studied biomes, modified thephysical attributes of the soil, besides influencing the carbon storage patternsinside the fragments.

Resumen
This research aimed to analyze the relationships between total phosphorus(P), total nitrogen (N), and chlorophyll a (Cla) in a small urban reservoir and inrural reservoirs. A field study was carried out on the urban reservoir, located atFortaleza, Ceará, to analyze the water quality parameters and then compare theresults with historical data of 35 rural reservoirs located in the semiarid regionof the Brazilian northeast, in the state of Ceará. Empirical correlations weredeveloped among these nutrients and Cla. Then, different levels of nutrient loadreduction were analyzed with the empirical correlations obtained and the waterquality complete moisture hypothesis, whose phosphorus decay coefficientused was the one developed for semiarid regions. The results showed that Pbest described the concentration of Cla in all reservoirs, using power adjustmentequations. It was also shown that the concentrations of P in the urbanreservoir were higher than those of the rural ones, with a mean of 1,76 mg/Land a N:P correlation of approximately 1, while the rural reservoirs had meanconcentrations between 0,04 – 0,59 mg/L and N:P between 5 – 50. The analysisof the different load scenarios showed that different levels of P load reductioncould be adopted depending on the P and Cla concentrations desired. Finally,it was concluded that the models proposed are applicable and useful as a meansto aid decision making in the management of water resources.
