The selection of sports talents is one of the most important factors in the development of school sports. At the Rafael Orejón Forment elementary school in Levisa, in the municipality of Mayarí, there are limitations to carry out this process. A methodology is proposed for the selection of talents for the Basketball in the school category, containing an exercise system based on the percentiles, which helps the teacher to detect them. In the achievement of the proposed objective methods and techniques are used, from the theoretical and empirical level. The results allow to know how to work in the primary school for the development of the possibilities of school children and the preparation of teachers for the selection of talents.Key words. Basketball, talent selection, school sport

In the article a didactic strategy is exposed to promote the integral formation of the future doctor that is able to recognize the value of the Physical Education and its systematic practice in its professional performance. Theoretical and empirical methods were used that favored the analysis of the problem, detecting the lack of contents in the program related to other disciplines of the career. It was verified that after this subject the medical students do not perform physical activities with a systematic character, being very low the percentage of incorporated into the activities of the extracurricular sport, however, after applying the didactic strategy, the connection of the students with these activities, which is an achievement in the new conception of Physical Education addressed to these doctors in training. The article socializes a different vision in terms of the way in which the management work should be assumed by the sports trainer in the current context. Due to the high competitive level reached by contemporary sport, increasing demands are placed on coaches, requiring them to be more competent and effective in their functions. The paradigm of technical director, recognized as the figure capable of moving the reins of the team based on his authority, based on the patriarchal tradition, is being overcome by a vision based on leadership, which responds better to the great speed with which there are changes in the conceptions of training and competences as a result of the impetuous emergence of new information and communication technologies, technical scientific advances, novel concepts and knowledge, which leads to work in multidisciplinary teams where each one can contribute his talent around the effective leadership of an influential personality.Keywords. Equality between men and women is a cornerstone in the construction of the new society, and its treatment is essential at all educational levels, especially in the university environment. Consequently, groups of teachers from the University of Holguin have designed a set of actions that aim to generate a space for critical analysis and learning to promote gender equity in the professional practice of the Physical Culture career. The proposal has been implemented in the subjects Psychology, Pedagogy, Sociology and Philosophy and their results were evaluated in the student's professional practice. Methods of the theoretical and empirical level were used, the survey of Physical Culture professionals and students in training; the observation of different activities in the field of Physical Culture and the documentary analysis of teaching literature, guiding documents of the professional training process and those that regulate the pedagogical processes in professional practice. The application of this proposal gave students the theoretical and methodological tools that allow an adequate direction of the pedagogical process to enhance gender equity in Physical Culture, while developing investigative skills and professional attitudes from a critical and constructive perspective, in pursuit of achieving a student more committed to the process of transformation of society.Key words. Gender equity, mode of action, students, Physical Culture

Te continuous improvement of the quality of university careers and their public certification is currently a priority for Cuban higher education, therefore, requires an institutional projection that consolidates an attitude towards the search and promotion of quality, Starting from implementing regulatory mechanisms that guarantee maintaining and improving the levels achieved of what the career does and the relevance of doing that for society. With this purpose, an accreditation strategy was implemented from 2016-2018 to conduct the process of continuous improvement of quality and accreditation of excellence in the Physical Culture course at the University of Holguin. The objective of this work is oriented to socialize the main experiences in the implementation of the strategy that made possible the accreditation of the career with the category of excellence.Key words. La selección de talentos constituye hoy día en uno de los aspectos de mayor importancia en el ámbito deportivo y una de las causas de que existan numerosas teorías donde se analiza el papel de los que participan como objetos y sujetos de dicha selección. Como proceso sistemático y complejo consta de diferentes etapas, en la que resalta su fase inicial la captación, o selección inicial, la que es objeto de felexión en esta investigación. La dimensión social, se identifica en el estudio a partir de la interacción de los indicadores endógenos, exógenos y antropológicos, durante el perfeccionamiento continuo de la selección inicial de talentos en el atletismo escolar, donde la selección inicial se convierte en una etapa de la selección deportiva, que asume dos atributos esenciales: lo social y lo pedagógico, compartiendo dos fases articuladas, dirigidas a la identificación profunda y la detección.Palabras clave. The article deals objectively with some experience in references to cognitive limitations and insufficiencies diagnosed in the preparation and teaching and learning process of futsal. These aspects condition the search and implementation of programs linked to a deepening of the contents from an integral vision of the specific technical-tactical preparation. It was possible to build a proposal on the ways of dealing with the teaching of tactical situations and the principles of game operation in a way that facilitates the optimization of pedagogical processes aimed at a better understanding of the tactics of coaches and players.Key words. Program, cognitive inadequacies, Teaching and learning. The educational work in terms of the integral formation of students has been a priority of Cuban higher education. The professionals of the physical culture have contributed valuable investigations on this subject; which have been implemented in the work system of the Faculty of Physical Culture of the University of Holguin. The objective of the article is to reflect on the results obtained by the Physical Culture course of the University of Holguin in the educational work and its repercussion in the integral development of the student. To do this, theoretical and empirical methods are used to conduct a theoretical approach and the analysis of sources related to educational work in higher education and the documentary review that allowed to verify the transformations that occurred in the course 2017-2018 in the three dimensions which includes structured educational work at the different organizational levels.Key words. Baseball is the national sports show of greatest attraction and in particular in the province of Holguin there is an audience that has a passion for this sport and its team, which has known how to follow since its inception in several of the championships held, even without the least expected results, situation that subjects the athlete to a great state of tension that leads to being stressed.
