En el presente artículo se analiza la articulación político-social y el esquema de poder gobernante en Brasil durante los gobiernos del Partido de los Trabajadores (pt). Se examina cómo la articulación nacional popular neodesarrollista, encabezada por el liderazgo de Luiz Inácio da Silva (Lula), tendrá una influencia decisiva en el Estado, en un contexto internacional favorable –creciente multipolaridad relativa, altos precios de los commodities y avance del regionalismo autónomo en la región. Desde esta posición pueden explicarseun conjunto de medidas y posicionamientos geoestratégicos. Se exponen, asimismo, las causas de la crisis de la articulación lulista y caída del gobierno del pt, especialmente en relación a dos puntos de inflexión fundamentales: la modificación del escenario internacional y la presión de las fuerzas dominantes en Estados Unidos y en el “Norte global” frente a la política exterior de Brasil, y la agudización de las contradicciones, tanto del esquema de poder en el gobierno como en el interior de la articulación nacional popular neodesarrollista, además de los casos de corrupción y de los límites de la dependencia.Abstract: This paper analyses the political and social articulation and the structures of governing power in Brazil during the Partido de los Trabajadores (pt) (Labourers Party) rule. It looks at the way the popular national neodevelopment articulation leadered by Luis Inácio da Silva (Lula), had a decisive hold in the State in the context of a favorable international scene –growing relative multipolartity, high prices of commodities and advancement of autonomous regionalism in the area. From this in mind it is more feasible to explain several measures and geo-strategic stands of pt’s administrations. The text argues that the causes of the crisis of lulist articulation and the fall of pt, can be explained considering two fundamental turning points: the modification of international setting and the pressure of dominant forces in the usa and the “Global North” regarding Brazilian’s foreign policy, and the aggravation of contradictions, both within government power structures and inside the popular national neodevelopment articulation, besides the cases of corruption and the limits of dependency.

En el contexto de retroceso de las experiencias populistas de los últimos años en Latinoamérica, distintos autores han intentado hacer un balance de este ciclo a partir de una comparación con los populismos clásicos latinoamericanos. Recreando una serie de lecturas clásicas realizadas principalmente desde el marxismo, estas miradas sostienen que la intervención populista ha estado destinada principalmente a impedir el desarrollo político autónomo de las clases populares. En este artículo se intenta problematizar la visión de los populismos latinoamericanos que subyace en dichas miradas y, en ese sentido, propone una relectura de los orígenes del peronismo y el varguismo, que pone el acento en la constitución política e identitaria de las clases populares a través de la intervención populista.Abstract: In the context of the later years crisis of Latin American populist governments, some authors have tried a comparison between these and classic populisms in the region. Recreating classic interpretations inspired by Marxist theory, these views state that the populist intervention has been destined mainly to prevent the autonomous political development of the popular classes. This paper aims to problematize the vision of the Latin American populisms that underlies these views and proposes an interpretation of the origins of Peronism and Varguism that underlines the political and identitary constitution of popular classes through populist intervention.

En el presente artículo se aborda la relación entre populismo y derechos ciudadanos desde una perspectiva histórica y política, atendiendo a ciertos aspectos atribuibles al populismo en tanto fenómeno político específico y enfocando el análisis en una experiencia histórica determinada de los así llamados populismos clásicos. Puesto que de manera reiterada se ha señalado que los regímenes populistas suponen una convivencia conflictiva en el ejercicio efectivo de los derechos y libertades individuales, el objetivo del artículo se encamina a contribuir al esclarecimiento de esta tensión. En particular, se centra en la experiencia política del primer peronismo, dirigiendo la mirada sobre las implicaciones de este vínculo en la base de la sociedad. Para tal propósito, se recuperan ciertas matrices textuales heterodoxas, a través de las cuales se busca dilucidar la experiencia subjetiva que se forjó en torno al ejercicio de los derechos ciudadanos con el telón de fondo del discurso peronista.Abstract: This paper addresses the relationship between populism and civil rights from a political and historical perspective, paying attention to certain theoretical approaches that can be attributed to populism understood as a specific political phenomenon and focusing analysis on a certain historical experience of so called classical populisms. As time and time again it has been suggested that populism imply a conflictive coexistence between the effective exercise of individual rights and its freedoms. The aim of this paper is to feed the clarification of this tension. It focuses on the political experience of first peronismo. The paper aims to contribute to the clarification of the tension that characterizes this link, particularly focusing on its implications at the base of society. For this purpose, we recover certain heterodox textual matrices, in which we hope to elucidate the subjective experience that was forged around the exercise of civil rights against the backdrop of Peronist discourse.

The main aim of this essay is to go through Christa Wolf's literary itinerary through a perspective that I define as mythological destitution. From this standpoint, I analyze Wolf's four fundamental works. In the first —Divided Heaven— the author tests the concept of Vergangenheitsbewältigung, a re-elaboration of the past that allows us to overcome it. In the second —Patterns of Childhood— Wolf develops the analytical figure of what she calls phantastische Genauigkeit, a fictional exactness as the only possibility of accessing a collective historical memory. Finally, in Cassandra and Medea authentic historical reconstruction is identified with the deconstruction of male discourse about women. Europe stands at the core of all of these works: Cold War Europe, Nazi Europe, Europe in the original moment of its ideological foundation.

Aquest article estudia les anàlisis que Simone Weil dedicà a determinades doctrines de l'antiguitat i, en particular, al pitagorisme, per tal de posar de manifest que d'aquestes se'n desprèn una concepció política. L'article pretén mostrar com de les nocions pitagòriques d'harmonia i límit se'n segueixen unes definicions específiques de justícia i necessitat, i com sorgeix la noció de nemesis com allò que castiga la desmesura segons unes lleis tan rigorosament inevitables com les matemàtiques. Finalment, s'analitzen els escrits que Weil dedicà al colonialisme per tal de mostrar que aquestes nocions nascudes de la doctrina pitagòrica orientaren les seves anàlisis històriques i polítiques. El colonialisme posa de manifest que Europa ha seguit una política desmesurada: els totalitarismes i les guerres de l'època en què visqué Weil en constituïren el càstig necessari i inevitable.

En aquest article s'analitza la importància de l'assaig de María Zambrano "La destrucción de las formas" (1944) com a precedent de l'art de l'Informalisme i la seva interpretació de la physis i de la màscara com a elements claus per a la comprensió de l'abstracció europea a partir de la Segona Guerra Mundial.  Per a Zambrano, en la "noche oscura de lo humano", el món es converteix, com escriu també T.S. Eliot en Four Quartets, un lloc de solitud i de davallament cap al retrobament de l'home i la possibilitat inèdita de la paraula.

In this article I use Arendt's thought to analyze the different responses to the so-called "refugee crisis" by European governments and I contrast them with the self-image that the European Union has attempted to cultivate. With this aim, I connect the issue with Arendt's concept of the "pariah" and her notion of "worldlessness". Further, I examine the limitations and perplexities that Arendt found behind the discourse of human rights and how it implies that an effective protection of the refugee can never be ensured. This is the reason why, I conclude, the refugee tends to be represented as a kind of new and contemporary barbarian.

The aim of this essay is to highlight the particularity of María Zambrano's thought by taking her treatment of the theme of Europe as reference point and to, ultimately, underline the possible relevance of her contribution to the challenges facing Europe today. To do this, I propose a rereading of the pages that the author explicitly devotes to this problem, pointing out the affinities that exist with certain approaches in the current philosophical debate, to which Zambrano's thought is significantly tuned.
