Resumen
Three translations into Spanish of J. D. Salinger’s “A perfect day for bananafish” were analysed. The main objective was to carry out a critical review of the translators’ decisions and to find out if such decisions interfered with the characterization in the story. The two main dialogues in the short story were taken as a sample and the units were classified into two categories: change of meaning and its repercussions in the characters’ characterization and dialogue spontaneity. One of the main discoveries was that even the smallest nuances can distort the way in which a character is perceived in a translation.

Resumen
We carry out a general review of the pedagogue Paulo Freire's thinking and from that approach; we criticize the current educational model, by comparing his concepts of banking education and mindfulness education. According to Freire, criticism to education is very important since it is the previous condition to individuals' transformation and thus, to world's transformation. The literacy proposed by Freire is considered to be an alternative for change.

Resumen
On the basis of the poetics of the novel is intended to follow the transformations of the characters and the symbolic discourses to which they allude, as well as the discursive changes that are expressed and represented by interrelating with each other, within the space and time. Laura, as a being condemned symbolically, in dialogue with Nacha, understands treason and blame from different points of view, complicating the problematic. The temporalities expressed in the ‘present’ by both women refer to a postcard, in which magical-mythical time on the one hand turns out to be a mirror for the western time and, on the other, it makes possible the dialogue with the historical memory from Mexico.

Resumen
The origins of Roberto Bolaño are linked to poetry, that's why his literary space includes some hypertext references marked by discursive voices of great Chilean poets. Bolaño's stories refer to two varieties. The first one allude to the hypertext characters in his works, who get intermittently magnified and repeated in other texts; in the second variety, a polyphony of representations is undertaken: a hyperliterature. Through a refined style, Bolaño narratologically lashes by denouncing ontological individualism of vacuum, as a trending symbol of our society in a city that could be any or all.

Language Geography Atlas are highly important to the knowledge of History and Spanish Language dynamics since they provide factual data allowing to issue a judgment regarding convergence and divergence processes which characterizes Spanish Language. This paper explores the main projects on Language Geography from 1927 to 2010, so as to create a classifying typology allowing more insight on the reach and achievements of each of the studied projects, as well as to complement the Spanish subjects in bachelor degree curriculum with the obtained data.

Resumen
The aim of this article is to reflect on Cinco horas con Mario [Five hours with Mario]. The figure of Mario as an intradiegetic character is the key to understand Carmen’s psychomotor behavior. Mario is the present interlocutor who forces Carmen to perform a function in accordance with the ideals of a bourgeois class that resents of the changes that threaten with putting an end to its privileges. All the interest of the novel focuses on the ideological clash that reveals the deep social contradictions of the recent post-war Spanish history.
