Resumen
In the book of Acts the term ὁ λόγος appears three times as subject of αὐξάνω, two of them coordinated with πληθύνω, and the third one with ἰσχύω. The present paper attends to establish the character of ritual phrase of these expressions and propounds an explanation of them in the light of other expressions of the kind found in the Old Testament and in the gospel of Luke as well, regarding them as hermeneutical clues to Luke’s theology.

Resumen
As a small tribute to the investigative pluralism of the Spanish neohellenist Isabel Garcia Galvez, this paper tries to build bridges between the scientific fields of linguistics and literature through translation. Thus, we try to examine the realization of different linguistic verbal categories in the Spanish translations of three poems by K.P. Cavafy. After the brief presentation of the theoretical framework on which the analysis is based, we study divergences and affinities presented by the semantic content of the Greek original especially in terms of the realization of linguistic time in the translations proposed in Spanish by Canigral and Álvarez of the poems ≪Candles≫, ≪The God Abandons Antony≫ and ≪Come back≫.

Resumen
The author proposes some strategies of second languages learning applicable to the teaching of classical languages in order to upgrade the pedagogical methodology of the classical studies, to bring them closer to the objectives of the European common framework and transform the traditional teaching into an active and participatory process through new ICT technologies.

Resumen
The author of the paper, after revision of the stone, republishes and studies —with extensive ap. crit., commentary and Spanish translation— a proxeny decree from Cretan Aptera, honoring Kallipos, doctor, of Cos, which date from the Hellenistic age. It is also offered a detailed palaeographic analysis and a dating more accurate than the commonly accepted so far.

Resumen
The aim of this paper is to analyse two unedited poems of Konstandinos P. Kavafis («Lohengrin» and «The suspicion») which are dedicated to the opera Lohengrin by Richard Wagner and were written about 1898. Like other poems of his formative years such as «Second Odyssey» and «King Claudius», Kavafis offers in these two poems a transgressive version of the plot of the opera: in the first poem Lohengrin doesn't come to save Elsa and, in the second one, he is defeated by his enemy Telramund. Unlike Elsa, the protagonist of the poems is guilty of the crime of which he is accused and he doesn't deserve the salvation which his dreams promised him. These poems connect with other texts dated in the poet's maturity in which he claims his marginal status.

Resumen
In this paper it is shown how some of the main ideas formulated by Longinus in his treatise On the Sublime are present in the aesthetics of Adam Zagajewski. Special attention is paid to: a) the concept of the sublime and the definition of poetry, b) the aesthetics of reception, and c) the role that inspiration plays in creativity.

In the interwar period are spread throughout Europe many social conflicts that in some countries lead to military coups and the establishment of dictatorships. Spain and Greece, without contact between them, have some similarities due to their geographical location, late industrialization and serious military failures in the war, among other factors, discussed in this paper.
