Resumen
Objective: To describe the factors that had a negative impact on the Sex Education (SE) program taught in the classroom, through the systematization of an experience lived in an educational institution in Bello (Colombia). Methodology: Systematization type qualitative study with 19 teachers who participated through interviews and focus groups, records and field diaries were also used; the information was analyzed manually with the steps of grounded theory. Results: The factors that had a negative impact on this SE project were classified into personal, sociocultural and institutional. Regarding personal factors, the participants recognize that they need to develop competencies in knowing and being in order to approach the topics, since this educational event brings together meanings, cultural practices, myths and doubts that both students and teachers have about everything related to sexuality; regarding sociocultural factors, the negative attitudes of the family towards SE and the context show sexism and homophobia; at institutional level, there is insufficient time for reflection and participation. Conclusion: SE "is a complicated matter" because there are ideological, professional, cultural and institutional barriers that prevent this process from being harmonious, reflective and under joint construction

Resumen
Objective: identify education and intercultural career plans as a need of academic and organizational interest in a globalized society where different cultures converge trying to differentiate and survive. Method: a critical documentary review based on hermeneutical processes of documentary interpretation was used. Results: the importance of career plans with an intercultural approach in organizations is highlighted to take advantage of the differences in the fulfillment of organizational objectives and the personal growth of workers. In this same sense, intercultural higher education is consolidated as a generator of knowledge and values of inclusion and respect for different cultures and their diversities. Discussion y Conclusion: For the creation of career plans and intercultural training in universities and organizations, three questions are raised: How to propose strategies that integrate different social entities? What aspects should be developed that involve processes of intercultural education? And how to innovate, seeking maintain the necessary balances, strengthen their identity, their social cohesion, their culture, and at the same time be participants in development? To find an answer, it is proposed to approach interculturality in a multidimensional way, mainly from the knowledge of each cultural group.

Objective: This research focused on analyzing the use that students make of social networks from the academic training process in higher education. Method: For this study the descriptive, empirical and quantitative method was used; As a primary source, the information was taken from 308 surveys of students from the Commercial and Financial Administration, Health Services Administration and Technology programs in the Pharmacy Regency of the Pedagogical and Technological University of Colombia at the headquarters and CREAD where the programs for inquire in students about the use of social networks in the academic process. This activity was complemented with secondary sources through the documentary review in order to compare the current literature with the findings of the study . Results:It was found that social networks have become an innovative and strategic ally in training processes, due to the attractiveness and fascination of students regarding their use, which shows the strength they are taking in academic processes. Discussion y Conclusion:The findings indicate that social networks should be incorporated into the teaching-learning process under a model of institutional use that leads to seeing in them an added value in the training processes .

Objective: Describe the underlying variables of motivation and attributional styles of elementary school students in a private school in Bogotá-Colombia, when they study quadratic function supported by GeoGebra® dynamic geometry software. Method: The methodological approach is a mixed one. The CEAP-48 inventory is used, in addition a focus group interview is conducted. The results are analyzed under the Main Component Analysis with the internal reliability of Cronbach's global coefficient α. Results: the test as motivation and learning and its usefulness remain as variables underlying motivation, while the score as motivation emerges as a variable after the implementation of the Didactic Sequence. GeoGebra®, in the students' words, is an element of motivation and mediation since it allows to experiment, check and visualize some conjectures. Discussion y Conclusion: The categories of the CEAP-48 instrument show the same results in the pre-test and post-test of the research as in the authors', which indicates that the instrument has a diachronic validity in time. Moreover, the test is part of the student's motivation, managed to affect their emotions in the academy.

Resumen
The informational behavior of students and professors of the Facultad de Estudios Superiores Zaragoza (FESZ) of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) during the pandemic caused by SARS-CoV-2, is studied in the Biblioteca Digital UNAM (BIDI UNAM) before the total closure of libraries, which limited the consultation of printed books and journals. A quantitative research was carried out with the statistical data analysis technique from the access logs to the BIDI UNAM, wich in total included 15,597 accesses, compared to two periods, before and during the pandemic, obtaining as a result an increase in accesses, in addition to the promotion of information literacy strategies for the use and exploitation of information resources, which can be integrated into the teaching and learning processes, strengthening the educational model of the FESZ.

Resumen
This article identifies practical elements of application of Wikipedia in its contributions towards the popularization and scientific communication applied to different disciplinary fields, such as: (1) educational (means of transfer in collaborative learning processes, constructivism, critical thinking and transdisciplinarity); (2) scientific research (structured system of big data and derivation of findings through its contents); and (3) library-documentary (application of information metrics, derivation of controlled and uncontrolled document languages, and training of information users). The development of the article is based on the use of a methodology focused on phenomenology (from the perspective of science), for which, a body of knowledge about Wikipedia was studied, related to educational, scientific research and library science fields. -documentation, through a consistent analysis, which led to the description and interpretation of lived experiences, recognizing its meaning and importance as an information system with the capacity for positive and ethical influence. The results offer elements that strengthen the credibility of Wikipedia as an information system, since it has been paradigmatically questioned in a negative way, therefore, the identification of contributions that justify its value as a complex, innovative and unique system in the socialization of the academic and scientific knowledge, with wide influence in various formal fields of knowledge, without yet having a sufficiently solid recognition.

Resumen
This paper presents a bibliometric analysis of the Corporación de Estudios para Latinoamérica (CIEPLAN in Spanish) scientific production. This was the most important think tank during the dictatorship and democratisation in Chile. The analysis is carried out based on bibliographic entries (n = 145), references (n = 4,055), and biographical information of the authors from 1979 to 1989. Three dimensions are analysed: scientific production and topics, collaboration and co-authorship, and references or information consumption. We use descriptive statistics, unsupervised topic modelling, and Social Network Analysis (SNA). The results reveal a constant trend in the scientific production and classic topics of the economy associated with inequality and political issues. Moreover, the collaboration and citation analyses show the existence of a community composed of recognised academics and members of the Chilean political elite who were central in the intellectual production and the references’ network. These findings allow us to name CIEPLAN as one of the central epistemic communities during Chile’s democratic recovery and transition, specifically during the first democratic governments, where a number of members were recruited to assume important positions in the executive. To this day, these actors continue influencing the policy-making process in Chile.

Resumen
The purpose of this article is to present the didactic methodology used for the creation of author’s authority catalogs in the cataloging courses of the School of Librarianship and Information Sciences of the University of Costa Rica. The main didactic materials created for the courses are shown, as well as the importance of using the ludic methodology. The foregoing was developed to teach the creation of access points for individuals, families and corporate entities applying the RDA, in addition to the creation of authority catalogs as a means of standardizing these access points. The methodology used was based on quantitative research of descriptive scope in which an online questionnaire was carried out in order to analyze the perception of the students of the BI-2003 Cataloging II course, regarding the use of didactic tools for the preparation of author’s authority catalogs and ludic methodology as a learning method. As part of the conclusions, it was established that one of the main findings of this research is that the didactic tools created for the elaboration of authority catalogs, as well as the ludic strategy, favor the understanding and application of practical exercises, in which they have the possibility of working with current regulations.

Resumen
The authors carried out a bibliometric study and a detailed analysis of the various variables of the final graduation projects developed in the Geography Career of the University of Costa Rica (UCR). This research responds to the need to quantify and analyze the different aspects of the scientific production of the student body, which had not been done exhaustively until now. The purpose of the publication is to disclose the results found, to make visible and demonstrate the efficiency and usefulness of these investigations. Similarly, it urges their leaders to strengthen those weak aspects and promote current issues and address the needs of the context. The basic methodological steps focused on document reviewed and consulted from the database of the System of Libraries and Documentation of the University of Costa Rica (SIBDI). Data were extracted from this base and processed with the tools of the Libreoffice and QGIS software. One of the most relevant results is that the School of Geography-UCR has supported the development of 141 final graduation projects from 1966 to 2021, for an annual average of 2.6, which have not only consisted on an academic requirement, but many of them have been input for the attention of national and international problems.

Science’s constant development makes it necessary to carry out studies that allow us to understand its global development, as well as the level of development of each field and the scientific production of a certain geographical area. The bibliometric study presented focuses on the scientific production published in Latin American journals within the Business, Management and Accounting (BMA) category of the Scimago Journal Rank and the information stored in the SCOPUS database. Thus, the information regarding the documents indexed in the SCOPUS database was downloaded. The patterns of document production per journal and per year were identified based on a frequency count. The most productive countries, the degree of collaboration and the type of collaboration were also identified. An increase in co-authorship and collaboration rates was pointed out, as well as an increase in international collaboration. There has been a considerable increase in the production between 1996 and 2010. Although the collaboration rates have increased, this collaboration is mainly maintained between Latin American countries.
