Resumen
The labor flexibility, the employer - employee power relations, and the profit motive of heal- th service administrators have increased the gap between work conditions that professionals should have (or the ones they perceive) and the conditions they actually have. This assump- tion led to the realization of a national project to characterize the working and health con- ditions of the Physiotherapists in the country and to reflect this task on a national scale. As a part of this national project, the characteristics analyzing was carried out in the Escuela Colombiana de Rehabilitación (ECR). Objetive: to document the working conditions of the graduated physiotherapists from the ECR. Method: in order to achieve this, a cross-sectio- nal descriptive study was carried out, with a representative sample of 69 graduates who were surveyed about personal, work and health characteristics. Results: graduates mainly dedicate themselves to assistance, receive income between 2 to 3 minimum wages, they state that their ocupations hinder their access to rest and recreation. An adequate social recognition has not yet been achieved, although professionals are satisfied with their jobs. Besides, they reflect little associative and union culture. Discussion: the results are coherent with the literature on training and employment linkage, since people with postgraduate study have lower levels of unemployment. These results, along with the national project, allow a basis for proposals onimprovng the professional’s working conditions.

Resumen
Physiotherapists are professionals trained to act, individually or collectively, in the promotion of health and prevention of disease through interventions that promote healthy habits and lifestyles. Therefore, the objective of this article was to analyze the professional profile of the physiotherapists in the field of physical activity, physical exercise and sports. Method: A total of 66 scientific articles that addressed the professional performance of the physiotherapist in the field of physical activity, physical exercise and sports were analyzed. These documents were identified through searches in the Scielo, Google Scholar and PubMed databases and published between 2000 and 2017. Results: The literature shows that physical exercise and sport form an important area of the physiotherapist’s professional profile, the competences and skills of theprofile are analyzed in physical activity, physical exercise and sport from the perspective of the clinical act and of the generation of new knowledge. Discussion: under multi and interdisciplinary perspectives, professional training in health acquires a greater responsibility for the understanding of complex problems, where the development of skills and abilities of attitudinal and emotional nature, as well as the analytical capacity in context become important. Physiotherapy should continue strengthening this area, developing researches to improve the knowledge on this matter, and contributing to the quality in the provision of therapeutic services

This research was developed with the objective of redesigning the orthosis used in the post- Ponseti treatment in children with clubfoot, with the intention of reducing the rejection to its use. Method: A research on the needs of children with congenital clubfoot was conducted to identify the disadvantages on functionality, design and adaptability of the orthosis if the splint is not used appropriately, the risk of relapse is 80 %, whereas using the splint, the risk is 4 %. A biomechanical study of a patient’s movement during the crawl was performed with and without the orthosis. Results: A 3D model of the design was developed to simulate computationally its performance under the forces generated by the babies during the kick in supine position. Finally, an experimental evaluation of the alpha prototype performance was made to determinewhether it met the intended goal. Thus, the manufacturing and testing of the orthosis on virtual and in physical platform took place. Taking in account the goal of this project, it 3 was determined that it is possible to reduce the reject to the use and therefore the formation of relapse by reducing the determinant factors of the common market splint, which promotes its incorrect use of this in the treatment. The average crawl speed is 0.48 m/s and with the splint, it decreases to 0.37 m/s. Discussion: The weight of thecommon market splint is 304.07 g and the weight of the one designed in the study is 209.26 g. Further biomechanical research is suggested to get conclusive results

Resumen
Historically, physical exercises have not been a priority intervention in the psychoactive substances consumption problem, despite the existence of literature and supporting articles about the matter. This study aimed to establish the influence of physical exercise on the motor behavior of psychoactive substances consumers, regarding the physiological and behavioral changes in this population. Method: Descriptive documentary review with analytical approach from the human body movement perspective. A literary research of high quality ECAS and systematic reviews were made. This research looked for documents that linked physical exercise with the therapeutic management of psychoactive substances consumption. Results: The practice of physical exercise showed changes at a physiokinetic level (p <0.05), as well as modulation of psychological aspects of anxiety and abstinence (p <0.05) with significant and representative results in motor behavior. Discussion: Physical exercise makes significant changes in motor behavior, physiokinetic and mental abilities in psychoactive substance users, from the three fronts: mind, body and movement.
