The ascent of a certain theory involves the perception and the comprehension of the real thing to the way like it conceives this theory. The ecocentrismo thinks to the nature with a value in itself and the marxism thinks to man as part of the nature and to the nature as object of ontological humanization. Nevertheless, ónticamente speaking, the sense continues being foreign to the nature, though the actions realized by the man, product of the sense that has granted him, these structurally integrate her.

En 2018 celebramos el 20 Aniversario del encuentro de Quivera, la distante y portentosa ciudad de aurum, desde la cual se ha establecido una correspondencia científica en torno a los estudios territoriales. Una ciudad ideal que atesora inconmensurables riquezas materiales, pero, también, constituye un espacio donde se vivifica el análisis y la reflexión sobre los fenómenos y procesos económicos, políticos, socioculturales y ambientales que inciden en la configuración territorial a escalas urbana, metropolitana y regional.

This article discusses natural disasters, their distribution throughout the territory and their social demographics. Geographical scope is that of Brazilian regions; time framework is 2000/10. Methodology is based on documented research, especially from the institutions of Civil Defense, demographic data and Human Development indices. The working hypothesis is that the capacity to respond to emergency situations is differentiated within small regions. Results confirm a close relation between socioeconomic factors and submission to adverse phenomena, reiterating the idea of vulnerability as a social concept.

This work contains a reflection about spatial patterns of industrial location considering their context under the actual importance of the study of territorial location models that differentiate firms, agglomerations and asset’s specification, as a main reference for the evaluation of their potential attraction and regional position. In particular it focuses upon those that locate in urban peripheries or rural settlings (named LIURS) at the north of the State of Mexico in Mexico. It assumes that the origin of such enterprises’ settlement is natural and not planned, frequently found in isolated situation, but also, it is purposed a typology for those rare concentrations that have been distinguished by the specialized behaviour of productive units conforming a localized production system. For both, is indicated their identification, behaviour patterns of their geographical distribution and relevance for regional development. The results are presented for the study’s region at the aggregated and local level. For the later, it is described a case study that refers to craftsmen activity placed in one of their municipalities

The present paper focus in exploring how vegetation is a vital part of a city’s sustainability, through explaining the multiple environmental and social benefits that it provides to the urban system. The use of vegetation in cities improves considerably life’s quality, reduces the ‘heat island’ effect and helps to decrease the possibilities of floods. This paper also describes the current status of the urban vegetation in the Valley of Toluca. Finally, the paper proposes solutions for vegetation’s correct use and incorporation.

This article is focused in knowing which have been the actual evolution of financial margin at the commercial bank in Mexico after the financial crisis in 1995, and how it affected the financing’s promotion in the productive activity at the economy. In this way, it is established like a theoretic reference setting the actual poskeynesian postulates over the commercial bank’s role at the economics, and it’s importance in the financially to the investment with direct impact in the employment’s and economics’ income increasing. Therefore, it is analyze the actual evolution of the financial margin and the due handbag in Mexico for the period 1995-2005, in order to know how it has influenced the bank financing at the productive sector of the Mexican economy.

The globalism and the globalization are two concepts to aboard the history process, the each to involve the transformation in the structures of the Nationals Estates. This process discovery at the hide fellows and covered for the Estate, the each its making between theirs actions and reactions of struggles in the field economics, politics and ideologists. This reality to say indicate a epocal situation what to leave at the second place the force and the functionality of the National Estate as a history fundamental and indispensable unit.

The aim of this paper was to make a diagnostic about the public transportation; taking as example an intermunicipality route (Toluca-Metepec, belonging to the ATR line, Autotransportes Toluca Capultitlán Triángulo Rojo S.A de C.V.). The methodology used is deductive-empirical based on the basic concepts of urban mobility and public transportation; in the route, aspects of infrastructure, operation and costs are identified through the application of surveys in field trips. The results show that there isn´t any planning of the analyzed route; there is duplicity and traffic jams. Bus drivers don´t respect the official location of the bus stops and the buses are obsolete; the general service is inefficient and deficient. It is highly recommended for future investigations to consider three indicators, the first, the public transportation fee; second, reduce the vehicular park and third; the public transportation must to be public no private.

The objective of this paper is to develop the Urban Atlas as a cartographic model of spatial analysis of the municipality of Calimaya, which serves as an instrument in the planning processes and in the planning of territory through the development of a Geographical Information System for the decision making. Territorial planning and territorial processes are normative instruments that, by integrating them in an Urban Atlas, allow maps to be containers of territorial policies and thus apply feasible scenarios where they are really needed to solve the problems that afflict the population.

A partir de este número, Quivera Revista de Estudios Territoriales comienza una nueva etapa como publicación científica electrónica, ya que cambia su formato impreso a digital, lo cual permite la consulta en línea desde cualquier computadora y dispositivo móvil conectado a Internet. De esta forma, nuestros autores tienen una mayor visibilidad con alcance nacional e internacional de sus contribuciones, al tiempo que nuestros lectores pueden acceder de forma libre, gratuita y sin restricciones a los artículos que integran cada número de la revista. Este número de Quivera se integra con cinco contribuciones orientadas al análisis de las dinámicas urbanas en México, considerando diversas temáticas como el balance ambiental para la sustentabilidad, los problemas del transporte público para la movilidad urbana, la instrumentación de programas de vivienda sustentable de interés social, así como el desarrollo de un Atlas Urbano para fortalecer políticas territoriales y el ordenamiento territorial municipal.
