Resumen
The hypothesis here presented is that a glance beyond modernity may discover the new society emerging in the womb of the old. The insurrection of subjugated knowledges and repressed imaginations, characterizing the transition, would be defining a new perspective and interpretation of the world, which would be expressions of the resistance to the destruction still associated with the old social order and the efforts of construction of the new.

Resumen
The relationship between motherhood and work has been a public policy topic since the early twentieth century, but in recent decades this relation has taken on new connotations due to the increase in female labor force participation. This has not led to an elimination of the discrimination of female workers because of their status as real or potential mothers, or to an organization of the labor market that allows harmonizing work and family demands, or to a redistribution of reproductive work. To analyze how actors involved in policy formulation face this issue, how they understand the relationship between work and motherhood and the tensions that arise from it, a group of stakeholders from three areas were interviewed. Two ideas characterize their conceptions: the rules of maternity protection at work affect adversely the employability of women; and the relationship work-motherhood is hard because the organization of the labor market makes difficult to articulate work and family responsibilities. There were identified some specific tensions in different areas: economic, demographic, socio-cultural and exercise of rights.

Questioned ethnicities: methodology and epistemology of urban indigenous nucleations and communities
Engelman, Juan Manuel
Universidad de los Lagos
Resumen
Groups of urban indigenous within urban locations are constantly increasing. The purpose of this paper is to present a set of methodological and epistemological tools that can refute some classical concepts of the discipline, in order to present the real complexity of the addressed population. To do this, we took cases of communities located in the south of Buenos Aires city -in the “Conurbano Bonaerense”- through experiences in political participation, in the organization of ethnic events and/or in the management of economic public resources. Such activities, which indicate a better organization and an increasing visibility of these groups represent also new conflicts and contradictions where the indigenous essentialisation plays an important role in the process of their political organization as well as their approaches on historical and present claims.

Resumen
It’s proposed an analysis about the film Children of Heaven, directed by Majid Majidi. Six dimensions about the film are examined (interpersonal, intrapersonal, transpersonal, ideological, symbolical and aesthetic), and the comments embrace six levels of exploration and understanding (descriptive, inferential, interpretative, appreciative, introspective and creative). Although the drill follows a personal pattern, in its upbringing at least four main contributions are fused: the “Education through Art”, The Teaching for Understanding, the structural model of the intellect proposed by J. P. Guilford, and the sociocultural and sociocritical approach on education.

Resumen
Premises of the standard economic paradigm strongly oppose the issues that pose doubts about the sustainability of economic growth. In the first part of this paper, it is argued that the pre-analytical vision of standard economics about the economic system as an isolated system has prevented most economists to acknowledge that permanent economic growth is not possible in a finite world, and thus to give some convincing answers to the global ecological crisis that began to appear in the mid twentieth century. The second part proposes that economic growth not only is not possible but it is also not desirable, since it is not necessarily related to well-being and people’s quality of life.
