In this article we present the record of eight archaeological collections, two public and six private, collected in Tandil (province of Buenos Aires). The survey was carried out in two levels of complementaryanalysis. On the one hand, for the registration of the pieces were considered type-morphological criteria, rawmaterials, measures of the main axes, state of the objects, photographs and provenance. On the other hand,at the collection level, we took into account the collection, selection, classification and storage processes thatdescribe the life histories of each set. For this, the work of interviews with local collectors and museumstaff was essential. From the reflexive analysis of the encounters and an experience with the informants, wepropose as a hypothesis that the creation of the collections in Tandil are intimately related to socialrepresentations about the Pampa indigenous past constructed from colonial relations of knowledge/power.

The archaeological site Mariano Miró (1901-1914) was a rural town inhabited by almost 500 people, located next to the station under the same name of the Western Railroad, currently Department of Chapaleufú, La Pampa, Argentina. Between 2011 and 2014were carried out tasks of topographic measurement, systematic surface collections, surveys and excavations; documentary reservoirs were consulted and interviews were conducted with local people. In this work, we analyze a set of breech-loading cartridges with an interdisciplinary approach that combines Archeology, Materials Engineering and Ballistics in order to discuss the social practices related to the use of firearms in this rural context. We present the results of the morphological-functional, metallographic and ballistic analyzes. They allowed to observe marks and inscriptions, infer origins, estimate differences in sizes, distinguish diversity of ignition mechanisms, traces of use and manufacturing techniques, among other aspects.

This report will focus on the re-construction processes of the recent past in relation to the patrimonial constitution of the former clandestine detention center Monte Pelloni. In this sense, several views will be taken into account that converge in the daily life of the city of Olavarría, as manifestations / demands for human rights at local level. Visibilizing the process through which this re-construction of the recent pastis activated and identifying the uses made by the actors of these recovered places is crucial to contribute to the understanding of the uses and impacts of cultural heritage in the local community. Specifically, the ex – CCD Monte Pelloni is very important in these processes of a symbolic nature. In this way, it is intended to account for the fact that, in these processes of activation, protection and recovery of memory sites, tensions and dilemmas linked to patrimonialization and memory are woven.

In this work we evaluate and expose the potential of Digital Photogrammetry through the use of software specialized in photogrammetric restitution f PhotoScan, as a complementary method to develop Readings of Paraments of Historic Buildings in Ingenio Lastenia Site (Cruz Alta Department, Tucumán). The combination of both methodologies, the first from Virtual Archaeology, and the second from the Archaeology of Architecture, can be fundamental to study and understand the constructive dynamics of the buildings that make up the site studied.

This article aims to understand how participation is performed in Comunal Consultative Council of Buenos Aires City. To do so, I do not start with a previous definition on what participation is, nor I confine it to formal dimension of the Consultative Council. The explored perspective tries to understand how participation is produced in the relations and practices made by the actors that participate in the Consultative Council. While studying this institution, it becomes clear that its functioning is heavily related with relations that exist beyond the institution and before it. Therefore, I will diferenciate between the Consultative Council in the strict sense -formal/institutional- and the broad sense. To present this, I will analyze a struggle between the studied Consultative Council and the City’s Government. This approach was developed by doing ethnographic fieldwork between march 2016 and July 2017 in a Buenos Aires´Comune.

From a critical and transformative approach, this essay presents inputs and relevant conclusions obtained during the first stage of the project Construyendo una propuesta de implementación del Programa Maestros Comunitarios (PMC), Code number 0166-15 DEB-UNA (UNA, DEB, s. f.), conducted in 2016. Considering our perspective as researchers and professors at División de Educación Básica, the paper addresses a current topic within the socio-educative field to face challenges of contemporary educational models in formal and non-formal areas of elementary education in the Costa Rican context. Our purpose is that students and teachers of the career program Pedagogía con énfasis en I y II ciclos de la Educación General Básica have an overview of the national, social, and educational reality in an attempt to involve them in applying pedagogical actions towards finding a solution to school dropouts at Escuela Finca Guararí, Heredia, Costa Rica. The essay describes the experience of teaching education students and their socio-educational action with the focus on the systematization of the experience in the initial stage of the project. Furthermore, the paper connects with emerging strategic knowledge areas at División de Educación Básica (DEB), such as social and community pedagogy in the context of the National University (UNA) of Costa Rica. It takes over a route already traced at DEB, which proposes more flexible and alternative pedagogic formats to promote educational equity and diversity issues. The paper describes the project background and a theoretical framework, as well as aspects that have been shared by the protagonist actors along the process: students-teachers, host teachers, supervisor professors, school children, and their parents at Escuela Finca Guararí. Conclusions address main results and facts during 2016 in order to show the viability of the project, which is conducted from a public university. Finally, the article also includes an overview of the project’s future in terms of its implementation in the Costa Rican context.

In the following essay, the concept of “teaching as an act of love” in virtual environments is explained. This essay describes some non-traditional teaching-learning methods and their incorporation in virtual courses. The objective of this essay is to help teachers create more effective virtual environments using non-traditional teaching-learning methods that, in turn, promote teaching as an “act of love.” Teaching as an “act of love” implies that teachers incorporate these non-traditional teaching-learning methods in virtual environments, focusing their efforts on knowing their students and their needs. Critical and constructivist theories of education will be discussed to understand how to adapt these methods to virtual environments. Among the non-traditional teaching-learning methods mentioned in the essay are the following: learning by the association of experiences, learning by discovery, constructivist learning, and cooperative learning among others.
