The insertion of intravenous catheters has converted itself in an indispensable procedure in Pediatric Intensive Care Units. The objective is caracterizing the morbimortality associated with intravenous boarding in very ill pediatrics’ patients. Descriptive, longitudinal prospective study, during 2016, in the Intensive Care Unit of the Pepe Portilla Pediatric Hospital, Pinar of the Río, The Universe: It got constituted for 182 patients admitted in the period of study and they required intravenous boarding. The information got from patient's charts and the unit's record of continuous morbility itself, and it was processed with SPSS statistical parcel for Windows, the test of hypothesis of proportions and the percentages were utilized. The intravenous boarding was accomplished to the 51.12% of the admitted patients, 31.46% for femoral road and 60.83% to patients under one year old. Principal use was the administration of medications (100%), the 56.59% had the boarding over 10 days, the 12.08% of patients presented complications, infection was more frequent. The conclusions are high incidence of the application of intravenous boarding exists; infection for catheter is the correlated complication more frequent.

The infection caused by Neisseria meningitidis is responsible of a big proportion of meningitis cases and sepsis in children and young adults around the world. The most frequent clinical features of meningococcal disease are meningitis and meningococcemia, although this last one is not the most frequent. The meningococcemia without meningitis presents in 1 of each 5 people who had the infection, and it reports mortality rates about 5% to 20%. We present a case of meningococcemia without meningitis associated to intravascular disseminated coagulation with successful recovery and without different sequelaes as described on literature. 

A partir del montaje de Lembit Peterson, director estonio, se analiza y justifica una puesta en escena de La dama duende, de Pedro Calderón de la Barca, desde la perspectiva conjunta de la filología y la escena. El objetivo es servir de puente entre los estudios literarios y las aplicaciones escénicas. Se plasma una fiel interpretación escénica del texto dramatúrgico de Calderón a partir de los medios actuales de representación, se respeta el espacio dramático y se actualiza el espacio escénico. The objective is to serve as a bridge between literary studies and scenic arts. A faithful interpretation of the dramatic text of Calderón is drawn from the present means of staging, the dramatic space is respected and the stage space is updated. El artículo analiza algunos recursos literarios utilizados en los poemas épicos sobre la Guerra de Arauco en el siglo xvi, que hicieron uso de nombres y pasajes del mundo antiguo griego y romano. El análisis propone un enfoque de interpretación histórica, que comprende el uso de tales recursos como un ejercicio de recepción de la tradición clásica por parte de los poetas, para amplificar los alcances de su argumento y representar la guerra en una condición trascendente y universal. Palabras clave: tradición clásica, guerra de Arauco, poesía épica, recursos literarios. Literary resources of the classical epic poetry  for the representation of the Arauco War in the sixteenth centuryAbstract: The article analizes some literary resources of the epic poems on the Arauco War in the 16th century, which used names and passages from the ancient Greek and Roman world. The analysis proposes an approach of historical interpretation, which understands the use of such resources as an exercise of reception of the classical tradition by the poets, to amplify the scope of their argument and to represent the war with a transcendent and universal condition.Keywords: Classical Tradition, War of Arauco, Epic Poetry, Literary resources.

Este artículo se propone estudiar la colección de novelas cortas titulada Las harpías en Madrid y coche de las estafas, de Alonso de Castillo Solórzano. Sus protagonistas engendran todo tipo de engaños para estafar a sus enamorados, lo que favorece la presencia de rasgos teatrales. Las damas-pícaras terminan siendo unas comediantes que ponen en escena cuatro representaciones distintas, eficaces gracias a un sabio uso del decorado, del vestuario y de un guion improvisado, como ya ocurría en la Commedia dell’arte.Palabras clave: novela corta, puesta en escena, guion, Commedia dell’arte. Las harpías en Madrid y coche de las estafas, by Castillo Solórzano: between Short Story and Stage SettingAbstract: This article analyses the collection of Short Stories entitled Las harpías en Madrid y coche de las estafas, by Alonso de Castillo Solórzano. The female protagonists plot all sorts of tricks in order to rob their suitors, thus favoring the presence of theatrical aspects within the text. The roguish-ladies thus become actresses that perform ever-changing scenes, rendered effective thanks to the use of furniture, costumes and the improvised script, as it was already the case in the Commedia dell’arte.Keywords: Short Story, Stage Setting, Script, Commedia dell’arte.

El fuego dado del cielo parece ser, hasta la fecha, el único auto sacramental que escribiera Alonso de Castillo Solórzano. Se trata de un auto de tema bíblico que incorpora diversos elementos de la comedia, como el enredo amoroso y la figura del gracioso Zabulón. En este artículo, comentaremos la manera en la que Castillo Solórzano recurre a dichos elementos con fines alegóricos y didácticos, manteniendo siempre la situación cómica al servicio de la alegoría.Palabras clave: alegoría, comedia, gracioso Zabulón, enredo. Allegory and Humour in Alonso de Castillo Solórzano’s Auto El fuego dado del cieloAbstract: El fuego dado del cielo seems to be, to date, the only sacramental auto written by Alonso de Castillo Solórzano. It is a biblical auto that incorporates diverse themes of Spanish comedy such as the romantic-entanglement and the humorous Zabulón figure. El Diálogo o conversación (1760) de Francisco Mariano Nipho se centra de manera específica en el comentario sobre la arquitectura efímera con la que el Ayuntamiento de Madrid había adornado el itinerario por donde iba a transcurrir la entrada en la corte del nuevo rey, Carlos III, el día 13 de julio de 1760. Para comprender el alcance de la nueva mentalidad ilustrada, prestamos especial atención al carácter que adquiere el uso del género dialogado por parte del periodista dieciochesco después de compararlo con un diálogo anónimo renacentista que trata de las exequias fúnebres celebradas en Sevilla dos siglos antes de la muerte de la primera esposa del entonces príncipe y futuro Felipe II.Palabras Clave: Género dialogado, conversación, Ilustración, Nipho. A conversation about Carlos III’s Royal EntryAbstract: Diálogo o conversación (1760), by Francisco Mariano Nipho, focuses on the commentary of the ephemeral structure which Madrid’s City Council built on 13 of July 1760 for the Royal Entry of the new king, Carlos III. In order to get a broader understanding of the Spanish Enlightenment, this article pays special attention to the defining features of the dialogic genre as cultivated by the 18th journalist Nipho, by comparing them to an anonymous Renaissance dialogue about the funeral obsequies for the death of Philip II’s first wife ?an event which took place in Seville two centuries back.Keywords: Dialogic Genre, Conversation, Spanish Enlightenment, Nipho.

El presente trabajo analiza la tradición textual del Examen del Antídoto de Francisco Fernández de Córdoba, abad de Rute. En particular, el ensayo se divide en dos partes: en la primera, se ofrece la descripción física de los testimonios conservados y cotejados; en la segunda, se examinan los errores localizados con el objeto de presentar las varias familias y sus relaciones. Particularly, the essay is divided into two parts: in the first one, we provide a physical description of the collected and collated witnesses; in the second one, we examine the detected errors with the aim of presenting the existing families and their relations. El impresor flamenco Martín Nucio publicó la editio princeps del Cancionero de romances sin fecha de impresión. Al ser un producto que inaugura un género editorial, el dato es fundamental no solo para la historia de esta colección de romances, sino para la mismísima historia del libro y de la imprenta. Se revisa la falta de consistencia de los argumentos previos (que retrasaban la fecha, incluso, a 1549, un año antes de su segunda edición), para aportar otros que justifican que este proyecto editorial se gestó e, incluso, se imprimió en 1546.Palabras clave: Cancionero de romances, romancero, bibliografía material, imprenta, Martín Nucio, poesía, Flandes, historia del libro. The date of the Cancionero de romances without yearAbstract: The Flemish printer Martín Nucio published the editio princeps of the Cancionero de romances without print date. Being a product that inaugurates an editorial genre, the data is fundamental not only for the history of this collection of novels, but for the very history of the book and the printing.
