Resumen
The present work analyzes the state of collective action in Mexico in the context of the exhaustion of the popular-nationalist model and the instalation of unbridled neo-liberalism. It places special emphasis on the case of a debtors movement, known as El Barzón, which began in 1993. This mobilization represents a form of organized response from the mid-level productive and service sectors of the country, in the face of confiscatory policies enacted against them by the banking and finance sectors, with the complicity of the Mexican state.

Resumen
The present article approaches the controversy and problematic relation between two of the great theoreticians of modernity, as they are the marxism and the psychoanalysis, who, have been object of numerous efforts historically speaking. It is not tried here to review to such efforts, if not rather to include/understand conceptually its departure assumptions and to establish, in adjustment to these, the viability of a new metatheoretic formulation.

Resumen
This article analyzes the official discourse of the founding character and origin of SanVito through three publications of founders and directors of a agricultural colonizationinitiated by Italians in 1952 (Quemé mis naves en estas montañas, 1995; Cuentos deguerra a un país de paz, 1998 and Coto Brus: là dove gli alberi sorreggevano il cielo, 2000). Also, an interview is used, carried with Vito Sansonetti on June 4, 1985. Fromthis discoursive axis, various ideological components are interpreted and inserted ina continuum that flows from hegemonic to counter-hegemonic. This analysis follows Teun van Dijk´s (2000, 2008) guidelines on ideologies and discourse and the binarydivision of hegemonic/counter-hegemonic ideologies proposed by James Scott (1985,1990).

Resumen
This article discusses how and who is/are in charge of exercising the climate change adaptation governance in smallholder farms from a gender perspective. The results are part of a qualitative research that was carried out in 2018. In-depth interviews were conducted with men and women from three rural locations in Costa Rica. The results discuss how land ownership, gender, and age intersect in specific contexts, influencing the adaptation capacity of male and female administrators and, therefore, the exercise of governance associated to adaptation. In addition, it is analyzed how the adaptations that have been implemented in the farms vary according to the gender of the administrator.

Resumen
This article analyses the treatment of cannabis as a drug in the Spanish newspapers La Razón, El Mundo, El País and ABC during 2019. Using a content analysis methodology, we identify the sources used, the authorship of the texts, the dominant thematic areas and compare the treatment given by the aforementioned newspapers. The results show a predominance of informative genres with texts signed by the editors or regular collaborators, who use official sources and ignore the point of view of other areas. The main topics are those related to actions classified as crimes (arrests, dismantling, seizures and road safety), and there is a lack of institutional information on addiction prevention campaigns.

Resumen
This article analyzes the set of historical and sociocultural factors that have influenced the production of imaginaries about Costa Rica as the green country. For this, first we approach the social and political context in which the so-called “green myth” is established. Secondly, we deep dive into the representations of the natural landscape used in some advertising campaigns by Essential Costa Rica. Finally, we place side to side the imaginaries of the green exceptionality with the socio-environmental reality of the country. Based on this analysis, we intend to show some of the mechanisms by which these imaginaries produce ways of being and thinking about the country while erasing and making others invisible.

Resumen
Centered in ecosocialist and ecofeminist perspectives, this paper examines the negative impact of extractivism as an economic activity that removes a huge number of natural resources and evaluates how global capital’s ecological management, which I call “greening,” has developed in Central and South America. Three questions are addressed: how the regional and local network on the governance of nature in Latin America has been organized; why extractivism strikes women hardest; and to what extent and how movements against extractivism have become involved in contesting global trends as well as national and local policies supporting them. The paper exposes the United Nations as a key force in the permanent model of colonialism, economic dependence, patriarchy, and geopolitical power characterizing extractivism.
