Resumen
This article presents a critical analysis of a present-day topic: The interdisciplinarityof the social and legal sciences. It establishes that in order to fulfill this objective, the indiscriminate use of the word inter- or transdisciplinarity does not suffice. It isnecessary to conduct a realistic study on the theoretical difficulties that runs counterto this objective. The study analyzes mainly three “epistemological obstacles” thatoppose team work in the following disciplines: (1) the problem of incommensurability between paradigms (Kuhn, Feyerabend), (2) the problem of the linguistic-relativityprinciple (Whorf, Sapir, Wittgenstein), and (3) the problem of close or autopoietical systems (Luhmann, Teubner). The article concludes that behind these obstacles there exists a significant amount of confusion, and even intellectual pedantry.Interdisciplinarity demands, beyond the overcoming of logical barriers, both a personal and antidogmatic attitude and a constant struggle against arrogance, vanity and professional chauvinism.

Resumen
The essay tries to detect (and exhibit) some promising and progressive aspects whichwere embodied in the so-called premodern order and in the time previous to theFirst World War. Among those factors we can mention a solid familiar structure, the existence of strong individualities with firm conceptions about the daily sphereof ethics and a high culture, which was still very distant from the actual andextreme relativism of values. That time of classical liberalism was very different incomparison with the actual “volatile capitalism”, which is characterized by selfrefering narcissism and technocratic tendencies. A contribution to the positiveaspects of the world of yesterday was done by an aristocracy (with some premoderntraits), which acknowledged the limits fixed upon us by the natural environment andthe human failures.

With this intent the established limits are examined for the conclusionof all kinds of agreements on the part of the Cuban State valuing the reasons ofthe existence and application of such conditionings, as well as the effects thatthey generate and its relative correspondence with the principles internationallyrecognized by the Law of Treaties. The point of item is historical but the essentialinterest is to concentrate on the system of the current in force Constitution from 1976by means of the analysis of content of its procedure that its interpretation allows inrelation with the context of the juridical disposition and its social specific context.

Resumen
Knowledge produced in nearly all Social Sciences (Sociology, Political Science,Linguistics, etc.) is almost useless or useless at all —except for scientists themselvesor for their own publishing-market. On the contrary, legal precepts and the doctrineapplied to them bring about a large variety of real effects on the concrete life of allpeople. The price paid for that efficiency is having law built as a web of discourseswithout genuine scientific rigor.
