Polish Japonisme, i.e. Japanese art inspirations in the work of the Polish painters and printmakers of the early period of modernism (the late 19th and early 20th centuries).The article will present well-known Polish artists such as Olga Bozna?ska, Julian Fa?at, Wojciech Weiss, Leon Wyczó?kowski, Satnis?aw Wyspia?ski as well as Jan Stanis?awski and his talented students. Juxtaposing works done by Polish artists of the Young Poland period with selected examples of Japanese ukiyo-e woodblock prints and silk paintings (done by such masters as: Hokusai, Hiroshige and Utamaro) as well sculptures and artistic handicrafts, I will demonstrate this phenomenon seen from the 21century perspective.  This new approach encourages the reader to make comparisons, to look – almost automatically – for similarities and differences between Polish and Japanese arts, and by revealing the clear and deep analogies between the two cultures, to engage in intercultural dialogue.Key words:Polish art, Japonisme, ukiyo-e prints.

Tras el fracaso de su debut cinematográfico, Bigas Luna se encontró en una situación financiera delicada. Acuciado por las deudas y sin trabajo, en 1977 encuentra una salida cuando se le ofrece a posibilidad de dedicarse a la realización de una docena películas cortas en súper 8mm de temática eróticas con el fin de ser comercializadas por correo. Fue ésta la primera vez que el cineasta catalán tenía la oportunidad de llevar a la pantalla parte de las ideas que sobre el erotismo defendió a lo largo de toda su filmografía. Este artículo busca sintetizar qué pensaba el cineasta sobre la relación del sexo y el cine, un pensamiento que fue depurando y transformando a lo largo del tiempo, y en segundo lugar, ver como este pensamiento se concretó en esta serie de cortometrajes que más tarde reuniría bajo el título de Historias impúdicas. 

The environmental degradation suffered by the planet has motivated the participation of civil society and governments to generate possible solutions. Public policies have found an area of mass dissemination on care for the environment, linking the principles of sustainability to different areas of the social life as the transformation in the various stages of the productive processes, the rational consumption of the natural resources was incorporated into the housing as a means that makes possible the change of the man-environment relationship. In an international context, in which various international organizations such as the UN, OECD and UNEP discussed and emphasized the importance of caring for the environment and the rational use of natural resources, they asked the governments of the different nations of the world to incorporate into their public policies initiatives aimed to the care and conservation of the environment and natural resources. The Mexican government, following this international demand and under the current situation of the transition from the welfare state to a neo-liberal one, assumed the commitment to work for the environment. It carried out a series of transformations in the design of urban policy by incorporating the principles of sustainability in the design and implementation of federal programs aimed to the strengthening and promotion of sustainable housing of social interest in national territory. This situation was taken as an advantage by the federal government to give the leading role to the private initiative, arguing that the minimum State would cease to be an entrepreneur and controller and would become an agile and competitive State focused on administration and financing in all matters related to housing. For this reason, this article has been stablished as an objective to analyze the development of the programs that are part of the sustainable housing policy implemented by INFONAVIT, as an initiative that seeks to reduce the impact on the environment, in the period of 2006-2015. Two relevant aspects are analyzed: the sustainable housing policy and INFONAVIT’s role, this using the documentary technique which was used for the analysis of different bibliographic sources and institutional basis which were used to determine the instrumentation of the sustainable housing policy. Concluding, the development of these principles has occurred steadily but has been skewed towards some of the dimensions.

Es una de las siete ciudades doradas de Cíbola que fue inspiración para la expedición de Francisco Vázquez de Coronado por el remoto territorio al norte del río Grande, con el anhelo de adjudicarse las edificaciones con artesonado de oro y la umbría de árboles con campanas de oro que alertarían al regente local de la presencia de forasteros blancos. Sin embargo, su afán fue contenido por las propias condiciones de la región y la resistencia local permaneciendo como una mítica ensoñación de profusión material y plácida idealización.

This paper explains one of the assumptions and theoretical considerations such as how recreation and environmental interpretation allows a protected area of empty land to replace appropriate area for the citizens, changing the perception of a foreign and different place, in this case the Sierra Guadalupe (SG) Zone subject to ecological preservation, to a site associated with the use and enjoyment for the coexistence of proposed low-impact activities. Currently abandoned, the Environmental Education Center Joya de Nieves is the result of the arrangement of space organized in 2003 in order to stop the invasion process on the southeast of the SG and reverse the environmental damage caused by the irregular urban growth of the Gustavo A. Madero.

This work contains a study and review of sustainable design strategies for the management of the project site architecture and how we can make a better environment to benefit both the architectural and the urban context. This work has particularly sustainable architectural design recommendations for a better selection and site planning and a better orientation and location of the building on the site, also proposed general concepts for the handling and care of the landscape of the project site, respecting the natural resources of the site as water use, energy, heat island reduction, use of building materials and use of biotic and abiotic resources of the place.

The case of the small producers of flower in two localities of Villa Guerrero, sample that the rural development is constructed of very diverse ways, the commondenominator is the preeminence of the induced or learned economic rationality, which fortifies the individual and enterprise values, over the social requirements of an equitable rural development. It is used the statistical information available and data obtained by means of applied interviews to small producers of the localities of San Felipe and Buena Vista.

The following paper, exposes the way that popular cultures are deeply damaged by economical, political social and cultural issues, manifested in the social problems of handcraft communities, such as poverty, loss of traditional forms of symbolic production (signs, history, traditions, rites, myths), unemployment, migration, among many others, but with the real possibility of mitigate them. Therefore, the objective is the establishment of some considerations based on the culture as strategy, this is, the traditional and historical symbolic production as a value, so that the State can generate public policies as an elemental subtract of sustainable social development.

Initially, one proposes some of challenges which represents, for the urban and historical centrality, the processes of surbanisation and policentralisation in Mexico City Metropolitan Area. Then, the talk is centered around the principal principles and strategies which seem to emerge from the practices of intervention in several historical centres of Latin America: land use heterogeneity, social plurality, economic sustainability and social integration. One finishes by a short analysis of some innovating instruments used, in particular in the case of the historical center of Mexico City.

The subject describes the analysis of the regional and territorial economic development of the segments that make up the Celaya-Querétaro Metropolitan Sector, with the justification of exposing the behavior of the processes of occupation and organization of the territory and the productive transformations and territorial dynamics. Their  objectives are to describe the characteristics of regional connectivity and territoriality and to make a spatial reading of the metropolitan and regional periphery of habitability and industrial productivity. The method used was the quadrant system in order to understand in a holistic way the neoliberal urbanization of the territory where the spatial sequence of the Northeast Industrial Logistics Corridor is located, using cartographic techniques, complemented with work and field research with the support of satellite images of the metropolitan sector. The results of the actions of the Regional Strategic Policy of the National System of Logistics Brokers have instrumented the regulation and promotion of the State, to encourage private investment predisposing an intermodal infrastructure system for the chain and commercial logistic efficiency pondering an economic vocation on the corridor. The conclusions determine the predisposition of an optimization of the mixed soil on productive pastures delimiting the formal levels of spatial occupation and defining a surplus value of the soil having a primordial role as a regulating and reproducing element of the appropriation and definition of the territory and conditioning the metropolitan urban development of Both cities.
