Resumen
Recent social movements (from «Arab spring» to Occupy Wall Street, passing through «the outraged» European or the Latin American students) can be understood better, without denying local components, if alternatives are perceived as produced within the logic of the capitalist system. To that one must add the current conjuncture of insecurities produced by the visible crisis since 2008, which exacerbates the motives for protest. This, however, is not dominant, and its members pose -with difficulty- goals and means, while they oscillate from seeking changes within the system and its generalization towards a system change.

Resumen
The following essay is the result of a research that analyzes the characteristics of intervention practices and disciplinary development of Communitarian Psychology in the country. The work was based on different studies that suggest there is a gap between the disciplinary framework and the intervention practices. A survey was applied on a sample of fifty-one psychologists that work in community intervention in the Valparaíso Province, and later, a subsample of five of these psychologists and eight acknowledged national academics were interviewed. Results confirm that the contents of the gap have worsened, giving priority to individual interventions focused on the improvement of life conditions and mental health of the participants. The research concludes that it is necessary to reconsider the contents and objectives of the discipline in the national context, in order to emphasize the social transformation that is inherent to it.

Resumen
In the last decade Argentina implemented a series of social policies called “socio-productive”, “socio-labor“ and “socio-economic”, in order to improve the situation of unemployment or job insecurity of the population. The same can be considered a way of compensation of the effects of exclusion from the current production and accumulation regime. In this context, in 2009 the Plan “Social Income with Labor” was born from the Ministry of Social Development, which aims to create genuine jobs, with equal opportunities, based on organized and community labor, encouraging and promoting social organization of workers, who will be responsible for the development of the initiatives. This article will attempt to analyze these goals from the Plan target account, by reviewing three key concepts: cooperatives, work and inclusion.

Resumen
This article investigates the increasingly common phenomenon of nonviolent international interventions for conflict transformations. In particular, it discusses the effects that such interventions cause on the protection and empowerment of those human rights activists who are living risky situations due to his work in highly violent conflict environments. This article sets the context in which these initiatives emerged and developed, analysing their main features and it considers the case of the protection provided by Peace Brigades International to human rights defenders. This case study extracts important conclusions about the potential role that nonviolent international interventions could offer to the international community in the fields of violence prevention, conflict resolution and peace-building.

Resumen
Economics as a social science, as a science of life, is being questioned on a daily basis due to the effects of a generalized logic of totalizing market that causes death and despair to increasingly larger groups of human beings; a logic that confronts and destroys the creation of subjects. A critical perspective is raised in response, an ethical point of view as well as attempts of multidisciplinary dialogue. In that sense, a research is being developed of which some is advanced in this text. The first part recovers the partial results of an inquiry –from a perspective of life-supporting ethics– regarding the reasons that attempt to explain the negation of the subject: from an economics’ point of view, from the perspective of postmodern thought and from the manipulation of desires and power. The second part includes analysis concerning criteria and options for the defense of the subject as a living subject, understanding him as subjectivity/intersubjectivity, which is not the same as individuality. The goal is to recover the foundation of human solidarity and an economic practice based on human rights.
