Resumen
This article examines -taking as reference an episode of a highway blockade during seven days with its nights, made effective by the people of two small localities, Cutralco‚ and Plaza Huincul‚ in Argentina, when the privatization of YPF- the debate on civil desobedience, which is usally understood as an act of desobedience of the constitutional order with the use of violence. The author developes the specificities of the civil disobedience components, being it: disruptive, pacific, autonomous and recursive; this last component because it must behave itself with the same rules it demands from the system. This makes it a rather exceptional practice, yet it doesn’t mean that it should be idealized. The author proposes that, instead of encapsulating civil disobedience within the fraim of liberalism, seeking the least possible cost for the State and making it harmless in order to make it legitimate, one should redefine it in the frame of the procedimental ideals which we presuppose in any social practice.

Resumen
This article presents a discussion about the alternative counterculture character of some styles or cultures of juveniles, with its political implications. To fulfill this objective, the authors develop a conceptual framework that defines the boundary of discussion, comparing basic elements of the “hippie” culture of the early sixties, with the “techno” culture of the nineties. One of the central elements, in a comparative level, is the consumption of certain drugs and their effects in the contexts of each juvenile style. In conclusion, the authors set forth some propositions about the role of the juvenile cultures, and more specifically, of their possible political meanings in our contemporary societies.

Resumen
This paper examines the criticism that has made to liberalism the Canadian philosopher Charles Taylor. It arises the hypothesis that such criticism is based on a philosophy of communitarian nature, which can form the basis for a social life project other than the liberal. As part of this approach, it states the position of Taylor on the debate over that during the last twenty years or so has been developed between liberal and communitarian philosophers, especially in the Anglo world. From an overview of this discussion, it analyzes key aspects of Taylorist thinking.

Resumen
The aim of this text is to reach a clear and comprehensive description of the Buddhist way of addressing the cognitive issue. The term cognition refers here to the process by which the conviction that something is "true" develops. The Buddhist examination of cognition can, in turn, be seen as a way to find greater freedom and detachment in regards our own thoughts, opinions and trends.

Resumen
Imagination is one of the least studied aspects in politics and in political history. Nevertheless, it is capable of nurturing visions as well as realities far beyond what it may be supossed. Even in an interconected world where information travels at almost a timeless speed, the assumptions about facts that have taken place on the other side of the planet still arise consequences and interpretations with caracteristics eminently local. The urban turmoil of the recent french’s 2005 fall has not been the exception, and has given rise to a profussion of articles and editorial columns that speculate about a posible new revolution and about the consequences it can have over Europe and the rest of the world. In this essay we attempt to decode some of this representations through a comparative reading of the chilean and argentinean press, and contrast them with the debate that has taken place in France.

Resumen
The article meditates on how knowledge and social practices are related, and on the “what for” of purpose one wishes to know. It undertañes the subject of transdisciplinarity, identifying in day to day activity the strategies which can help that new generations can live along with their ideas, without being destroyed by them. On that purpose, the Law of Communitary Services for University Students in Venezuela is analyzed as an exploration of the spaces oriented to encourage intercultural and transdisciplinary learning. The analysis ends stating that in order to make a contribution on changing the socio-institutional structures towards endogenous development, this law should affect the capacity of some IES –called as those of “social capital” to articulate with other Public Administration actions, also oriented to this political intentionality, in nowaday Venezuela, of generating social inclussion under the figure of a public action known as “The Missions”.
