The author covers the diverse worlds of spirituality, from its manifestations in everyday life expressed in the key ideas of love, peace, freedom, until his relationship with the transcendent, and proposes an existential spirituality and a change of ecology conducive to collective mentality of self that is anchored on the human need for meaning. Finally posits a spirituality born in militancy in life, which places us in the interior and deepening integration, meeting the individual and social, the immanent and the transcendent, the mystery and commitment to change life imperative.

In this paper is proposed a conceptual link between ethics and politics, and at the same time it not only takes democracy as a political system, but also as a value system. From this position denounces behind the facade of democratic constitutionalism, the true intentions of authoritarianism, injustice and discrimination that have characterized the political, economic and social development of Latin America. Additionally, from the ethical and political connection in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, briefly reviews the theories of End of History and Civilizations War, of Fukuyama and Huntington, respectively, to conclude with proposals, leading to a search for the construction of a New Planetary Social Contract.

From the acceptance of happiness as a greater good, as a source of meaning in life, the author displays Buddhism as a path to happiness through a search for meaning and transcendence, first personal, then group, and perhaps eventually as part of the social fabric. He claims that this requires for everyone the same experience of Awakening, transcending academic boundaries and faith. The article gives us a deeper understanding of this path to awakening, representing a spiritual path, and a lifestyle.

The reflections presented here are part of a cartographic research on gender and sexuality in the Socio-educational System of Rio de Janeiro from 2015-2017. From individual interviews, group activities and courses with young people and professionals, this paper discusses the various meanings that the experience of paternity has for young fathers in deprivation of liberty, connecting them to the production of masculinities in the trajectories of the youngsters, circumscribed in codes of institutions such as drug trafficking groups and the Socioeducational System itself. Considering the context of social, racial, generational, and gender inequality, we explore how capitalist subjectivity shapes practices and power relations in what we might call ostentation-paternity.

When it comes to artisanal fishing, traditional development models dealing with environmental and productive crisis do not take into account the perspectives of women and their everyday life. The objective of this research is to describe the participation of women in Chilean artisanal fishing sector, using reviews from secondary sources, bibliography reviews and ethnographic notes. Analytically, these records are reads from two points of view; i) from productive and territorial transformations, and ii) understanding artisanal fishery as a cultural system. The description highlights the role of women in the transformation processes, as well as their knowledge and environmental practices, in future scenarios that recognize them as a critical alternative that transcends the administrative logics of extraction from domestic spaces.

This article deals with the study of gender relations, family arrangements and constructions of masculinity in the context of increasing female participation in the labour market. The current dynamics of families in middle sectors of the urban conception, linked to the organization of domestic work and ways of exercising parentality are presented. The persistent limitations experienced by women to perform in the productive sphere lead to the gradual questioning of the roles occupied by men in the reproductive sphere. This requires the coordination of public policies that promote the reconciliation of work and family life of mothers and fathers. This qualitative research uses semi-structured interviews and focus groups with parents with children aged 0-14. The heterogeneity of existing domestic arrangements is linked to men who not only assume reproductive tasks, but also represent significant ruptures in gender roles.

The purpose of this article is to make a categorical analysis of the discourses and practices of the neoliberal model and its consequences on human dignity, through a critical interpretation of the documents of the Washington Consensus and the 2017 OXFAM report, mainly. From this analysis, effective love is presented as a political ethical proposal passed on by the sociologist Camilo Torres Restrepo, as an option of resistance to the implications of neoliberal policies in the Latin American context, from a decolonized approach that understands the territory as a historical cultural construction.
