The author presents these two playwrights belonging to markedly different cultures, who made libertarian contributions against repressive policies in the republics of South Africa and Chile. For that he contextualizes the country and time when they wrote, and offers an interiorization to their dramaturgies. Fugard produced his plays in a context of apartheid, from clandestinity. Radrigán did his under dictatorship, on conditions of repression and censorship. Both rescue the dignity of the marginalized in their homeland.

International research shows a prevalence of 10.4% of paternal postpartum depression in the general population. In Chile the phenomenon has not been studied, so we set out to explore the presence of depressive symptoms in Chilean parents during the postpartum period, as well as the particularity of this phenomenon from the subjectivity of those affected. In this exploratory, crosssectional, qualitative study, in-depth interviews were conducted with a subgroup of parents who placed themselves on the Edinburgh Postpartum Depression Scale slice score and/or the Beck Depression Inventory, looking at their meanings of parenthood and depression. Among the results, the non-planning of pregnancy in all participants stands out, as well as paternity associated with the provider role. The concept of depression is associated with its most extreme manifestations. Although the parents present subjective discomfort, they do not identify it as depressive symptomatology, thus limiting spontaneous and timely consultation.

Quality has been set up since 2006 in the exercise of family mediation manage by the State of Chile, being the object of a set of regulations aimed at monitoring and control processes and the assessment of the professional performance of the mediators in the courtroom according to certain known criteria. This article reviews the current theories and their application in the Chilean family mediation system tending towards the construction of its own guidelines that address the quality of the services offered. From a qualitative / descriptive approach and based on the review of authors and recent research, which allow the construction and analysis of variables that account for the complexity of the evaluation process. Among the results, a conceptual model of the quality of family mediation is proposed, where a third mediating observer problematizes the attention given and also contributes to the reflexive complexity.

This article discusses men and their transitions to fatherhood. Based on the statements of the parents, the objective of this study was to investigate, from the perspective of the father, the paternal involvement in the gestation, delivery and three months of the baby. The research embarked on a qualitative longitudinal path, with 30 men being fathers for the first time. Three semi-structured interview scripts were constructed, containing open questions, considering the following moments: (a) the last trimester of pregnancy; (b) one week after delivery; and (c) the baby’s third month of life. The men’s interviews were examined by means of qualitative content analysis. The results show that there is a growing movement in parental involvement when considering the three moments of data collection, indicating that men are undergoing continuous transitions, building new meanings of parenting in their day-to-day life with the baby.

This paper presents the results of a research that examines the state of theoretical neglect of the development issue, because of criticisms coming from neoliberal and environmentalist approaches. It pursues then the analysis of the current crisis of development in the world, to put in discussion the various responses and proposals that have been raised against the development crisis and the problems it brings: "letting the market do", the thesis of "zero growth", population control, the concept of sustainable development, etc.., highlighting their respective contributions and gaps. It finally redefines the concept of development understood as transformation and improvement of economy over time, addressing the possibility of deploying in the future an economy of solidarity.

The author suggests the validity of relating these days as Bolivarian, stating that the essential Bolivar is not dead; and remembers a line from Neruda in which Bolivar says: "I wake up every hundred years ..." Bolivar's dream was integration, and called for its true identity of forming one great nation. There is to this un underlying emotion, says the author, and postulates that it can be the necessary foundation for the great essential utopia, that of mankind, humanitarian: a humanization policy.

The interview covers such concepts as "geopolitics of knowledge" as applied to Latin America and argues that the region is a geopolitical product manufactured and imposed by "modernity", where "Latin America" was manufactured as something displaced from modernity; or from philosophy, which is narrated from Greece to Europe, leaving the rest of the planet outside the history of philosophy. The respondent invites to stop thinking that what counts as knowledge is written in some languages and comes from certain places. From this approach, he refers to topics such as the reciprocal infection and interaction between indigenous and Marxist cosmology, the  distinction between "interculturalism" and "multiculturalism", and the re-articulation of power in "World War IV."

This essay proposes to question the opportunity of being guided by dreams and utopias, and instead build `autonomous' projects that will permit moving towards a common dream that mobilizes us, based on the conviction that we are already mobilized and articulated because there exists a utopia, which, although undoable, gives us the illusion of freedom. This notion is that of progress, and it is from this invisible utopia that we must free ourselves. In its development he presents three theses about utopia, concluding with a practical rule for the recognition of negative utopias (dystopias) that would have made us safe from many of our current nightmares; and finally posits a new word, yet to be created, which means 'the good time'.

The author argues that the state has entered a growing crisis and suspicion about its real "utility" for society, and links to this proposal the emergence of the issue of public space. He argues that a radical change occurs after the new perception of the territory, when there no longer seems possible that the state, and therefore the public space, can be thought exclusively in national terms. Then he discusses the relationship between public space-private life, and the new ways of doing politics in this new public space. He states finally that the building of public space stands on the conviction of the existence of a common good, which can be thought of and designed collectively.
