Resumen
The general objective of this article is to analyze the historical process of how the professionalization of history took place in Central America from 1945 to 2001, and to study from a historical-quantitative approach the regional and local historiographical analyzes of Central American historians, within the framework of the creation of undergraduate degrees in History until 2018. In response to this objective, we have concluded that the Central American historical sciences have presented uneven progress based on the divergent timeline of the creation of historical institutional structures. In this sense, Costa Rica and Guatemala are the countries that have made significant progress in regards to the rest of the region. Transferring these qualitative data to the quantitative, the differences remain the same since 72% of the total studies belong to Costa Ricans and Guatemalans and 28% are divided between Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama and El Salvador.

Resumen
This article shares a teaching experience in the teaching of corporal expression in the framework of virtuality. The methodological proposal and the exposed exercises reflect the imprint from which we had to rethink objectives and contents in body work from technological mediation and remote presence, which suggests a paradigm shift for teaching and learning processes from the University of Costa Rica. The proposal exposes a journey towards the appropriation of the body as an expressive tool for students of the third semester of the Dramatic Arts career, while also reflecting on the implications of the absence of the body-present in the teaching-learning processes.

Resumen
The article analyzes the influence of deities in the heroic representation of female main characters in the Hellenistic novels Leucipa and Clitophonte of Achiles of Tacio and Cariclea and Teagenes of Heliodorus. The analysis proposal identifies the main elements related to the influence of religion in the representation of the feminine heroines from a gender perspective. The help provided by the tutelary divinities for the young heroines allows them to face the moral and public tests in order to prove the protagonist’s character in the face of adversity. The objectification of the female body in the novels is presented through the virginity of the main character. The protagonist must preserve the values of chastity, fidelity, and obedience by maintaining a virtuous behavior in hostile and dangerous environments. The tutelary divinities such as Aprhodite, Artemis, Eros, Fortune, and Destiny help the young maidens to sustain the fundamental pillars of matrimony in the Hellenistic society of the ancient world

Resumen
This text reflects on the long-term effects of a political campaign that dealt with issues related to people’s bodies and sexuality. The purpose of the article is to analyze the way in which a populist discussion for electoral reasons during the 2018 campaign in Costa Rica led to legal precedents that marked a setback in the underage people’s right of sex education. A documentary review and a descriptive analysis of media events and Constitutional Chamber’s statements on the subject are proposed. As a result, a series of consequences are evident in restricting people's access to sexual citizenship and violating their possibilities to access information, react to violence, or prevent life-threatening situations which is significantly limiting the exercise of their human rights.

Resumen
The formation of geopolitics has emerged from the conquering vision of territories, subjectivities and natural resources, revealing the hegemonies of domination. In these world geopolitical traits, historically Latin America and its territories, its resources and its peoples have represented a territoriality object of exploitation and exclusion. It is the purpose of this conceptual cartographic analysis, to reason about the constitution and institution of the coloniality of territoriality as part of the hegemonic geopolitical agenda, and how it is oriented to reveal the challenges and challenges arising from the conjunctures that surround the region, on purpose to counteract the imperialist determination that falls on those disputed territories, considering the resistance of the peoples who have participated in the intercultural dialogues that emerged as part of an education and criticism of culture aimed at the decolonization of territorialities, particularly in these times that are moving towards a new normal.
