The search for new technologies that can mitigate the negative impacts caused by the processes of production and the excessive consumption of raw material, has gained more and more relevance in the business world. In this scenario, the present research aims to identify the contributions that green logistics and green procurement bring to the management of the green supply chain. The present research is justified by the increase in the adoption of ecological practices by the companies, which implies in the continuous search for improvement of the techniques that involve all the practices within the Chain of Green Supply, aiming at greater efficiency of the whole chain. ISO 20400 was implemented, which came into force in 2017, which aims to increase the efficiency of green purchasing practices. The method used was the qualitative exploratory bibliographic research carried out in the secondary databases ACM, EBSCO, Emerald, Academic OneFile (GALE), Scielo, Sciense Direct, Springer, Web of Science and Wiley. A bibliometric analysis of the information obtained was performed. The research concluded that Green Supply Chain Management aims to reduce waste, negative impacts on the environment and maximize profitability. It increases competitiveness through innovative strategies aligned with the organization's strategic objectives, green logistics and green procurement in particular. contribute to reducing carbon dioxide emissions by replacing fossil fuels with alternative fuels, reducing operating costs, adapting transport modes, improving internal communication technologies, investing in personnel training to achieve sustainability.

This work aims to investigate an entrepreneurial intention of production engineering students in Hard Sciences and Technology Institute (ICET) linked to Federal University of Amazonas (UFAM). Regarding the methodology, this research is quantitative, regarding the approach of the problem, exploratory, regarding the objectives of the research, and a case study with regard to the technical procedure adopted. The research sample was formed by courses of production engineering course and contains a participation of 100 students. The research techniques used were: indirect documentation and extensive direct observation through the application of the forms of entrepreneurial intention with the students. In terms of results, the following stand out more than half of the students are not entrepreneurial products; however, almost all of their users are in a position to become entrepreneurs; strong indication for self-employment; search for an innovative idea as the main barrier to entrepreneurship. The study points to a proactive stance with regard to entrepreneurship even considering that as areas of engineering, they concentrate a large part of their professionals as employees in public or private companies. The relevance of the research lies in evidencing the growth of entrepreneurship among the discourses of production engineering so that the university contributes to the formation of professionals who create projects with high added value, promoting technological development and innovation and impacting local development.

The mobilization of social resources for addressing urgent societal needs under market assumptions is a major component of the strategy for development.  Social enterprises as an alternative source of public goods and services attract the attention of academics, practitioners and policy-makers to the efficient use of entrepreneurial resources. Initially this study aims to provide a more systematic understanding about the factors that affect the probabilities of success of socially oriented undertakings and contributes to the literature by answering the call for more empirical research about such effects over their performance. Using a logistic regression model on data from a sample of socially oriented ventures in 148 countries participating in the 2013-2016 Entrepreneurship Database Program at Emory University, the positive effects of such factors were first validated. At a later stage, this quest attempted to find differential behaviors of these effects by comparing operations in OECD and developing countries. No conclusive evidence for dissimilarities between groups was found. This result could be partially attributed to the accelerator´s selection processes favoring companies with a proven record. Important global policy implications are drawn in support of harmonized social-entrepreneurship promotion programs and the adoption of standardized impact measurement criteria. This argument raises ample academic and practical possibilities for investigating the impact of socio-economic and cultural influences on the efficacy of social enterprise´s interventions. After controlling for the efficient use of entrepreneurial resources, teams made-up of civil society organizations, businesses and government institutions can allocate their attention to those country-specific situations affecting the efficacy of development programs such as the problems to be solved, the particularity of the eco-systems and the adequacy of the organizational arrays adopted.

Energy access plays a crucial role in enhancing the social-economic development among the household members in any nation. Notwithstanding the role of energy access in improving the livelihood of people, the problem of energy access has revealed to be more serious in rural areas of Tanzania. The increased in problem of energy access in rural areas of the developing countries is due to the absence of a unified set of indicators for measuring the energy access to rural households from developing countries including Tanzania. This study therefore, aimed at determining the indicators of energy access in rural areas of Tanzania. The study employed Cross- sectional type of the research design to collect data from 384 heads of household from the rural areas of Njombe and Iringa regions in Tanzania. Moreover, the Quantitative Exploratory Factor Analysis using Principal Component analysis and varimax method was employed to determine the indicators of energy access. The identified indicators using exploratory Factor Analysis was further confirmed using Confirmatory Factor Analysis. The study findings revealed that, the indicators for measuring the provision of energy access to rural households in developing countries including Tanzania ranked based on its importance are: availability, affordability, durability, efficient, no production of smokes, easy to use and ability to keep cooking facilities clean.Based on these findings, the study concludes that, indicators of energy access are important in enhancing the social economic development and improvement of the livelihood of people in rural areas. In the light of this conclusion the study recommends to government energy experts and other practitioners of to use the identified indictors when measuring energy access to rural households in Tanzania in order to improve the livelihood and their standard of living.

The study of decision-making of people has its origins in economic theory, with a more rational approach. However, several studies have shown that decision-making follows also an emotional model. In great part, decisions are influenced by information we receive through communication framing. In education, students decisions are largely affected by the information they receive through communication issued by the service provider. In a scenario of service failure recovery the influence of emotional or rational messages is little studied. The motivation of this study is the absence of works relating attitudes to services when failure recovery occurs in higher education services, particularly when the framing of the communication signals some position to students, aiming to persuade them. The results showed that rational communication was more effective than emotional ones. It was also found that interpersonal influences tends to reduce positive responses from students to HEI communication strategy, though a moderation process.

Quantitative methods is an important tool for a wide range of logistic processes, particularly in stock management operations such as handling and storage. Especially in a Hospital, in which it is essential to a good supply of materials and medicines that guarantee the agility required in meeting the demands of patients. The objective of the present work is to understand the process of separation and distribution of materials and medicines within a hospital storeroom and use quantitative methods for optimizing management and routing of its activities aimed at reduce the time of path between the stockroom to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Surgery, Nursery and adult Intensive Care Unit of Hospital MPMP. For this, a literature search and a case study in a Hospital. The article presents a suggestion of improvement of routing and optimization of distribution processes, using Microsoft Solver. Which might verify that the implementation of this procedure is quite simple and the Hospital can deploy it with confidence that improvements will occur at the service level.
