This space has also generated personal, group and community tools to older adults in different communities of San Ramón. In addition, to the guidance provided to them in the analysis of specific themes related to this stage of life cycle, the project aimed to create networks of older adults, for them to share their life experiences. The methodological approach in the project allowed these people to build knowledge that aids them to improve their life quality. This project is one of the few that to visit diverse communities and work with the elderly in their own places rather than to stay in university classrooms. These respond to a commitment to these population, taking the University to them and not vice versa. In general, the purpose of this paper is to describe the themes, methodologies and achievements that this project has had over five years, in the communities of La Unión, the INVU, Barrio San José and San Juan, all of them communities located in different parts of San Ramón city. Díaz González, José Andrés
Universidad de Costa Rica, Sede de Occidente
Resumen
This paper proposes a model to identify how different economic, social and political variables, influence on the confidence that entrepreneurs have towards the Costa Rican economy. The objective of the model is to determine if Costa Rican entrepreneurs behave as rational agents, from a realistic rationality perspective. It is concluded that the confidence of Costa Rican entrepreneurs towards the country’s economy is related to changes in socioeconomic variables, so that these seem to be able to behave as rationalagents.

Resumen
In 2017, the area of wide corn cultivation of the pozolero race was 8,114 hectares nationwide, with an average yield of 3.92 t ha-1. The state of Morelos allocates 3,814 hectares for the production of said grain with yields of 2.94 t ha-1; the municipalities where they are grown are Totolapan, Yecapixtla, Atlatlahucan, Ocuituco and Tlayacapan, with an area of 1090, 930, 855, 355 and 258 hectares respectively, the altitudes range from 1580 to 1920 meters above sea level. For this study, collections were carried out in municipalities with presence of native germplasm, from the state of Morelos, the State of Mexico and Puebla. The objective of the present work was to estimate the morphological variation between the wide-pounder maize collections using quantitative and qualitative variables. The experimental design was completely randomized, using tukey means analysis. The experimental unit consisted of 10 repetitions and 34 treatments, 11 quantitative and 5 qualitative variables were measured. The analysis of variance showed highly significant differences for the 16 variables measured, the first five main components explain 90%, of the variation the three component was represented by five quantitative variables that were, row number, ear diameter, ear diameter, grain length and grain width-length ratio. With respect to the morphological distribution of the variables under study, the results showed groups of collections with respect to the color of grain, color of coppice, diameter of coppice, diameter of ear, length of cobs, length of grain, thickness of grain and number of rows. The genetic diversity in large Creole maize populations that were collected in Morelos, is a product of genetic flow.

Resumen
Violence against women is a reality that has been present throughout history in different civilizations, but only in recent years it has begun to occupy a space in the political agenda.
Violent practices against women and girls become more acute in societies where other factors are present, such as social and economic inequality, weak institutions or the persistence of a patriarchal culture. In this sense, Nigeria is one of the most vulnerable countries. This situation has worsened after the emergence of the terrorist group Boko Haram in the northern regions, the most disadvantaged in the country. Boko Haram has developed a strategy unknown to date in the area, based on the recruitment and use of women and girls for its terror strategy. This research highlights the importance of uncovering the reasons that lead the group to employ women and girls to spread terrorism, the strategy Boko Haram use for that purpose and the role female play within the group. The main objective of this paper is to present prevention as a policy for lasting peace. Thus, the following lines of research are proposed. Firstly, the role of women in the Nigerian society is analysed as key actors in the prevention of violence. Secondly, we develop a study of the potential of the regional organization, the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), to implement preventive measures related to the recruitment of women. In this way, it will be analysed a phenomenon that has led to an increase in violence in West Africa through a case study. This research is based on interviews with experts, secondary sources and databases and reports from well-known organizations, such as Human Rights Watch, Global Terrorism Database, UN Women or the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).

Resumen
The objective of the present study was to evaluate the nutritional status of Costa Rican preschoolers. A total of 200 preschoolers (100 male and 100 female) with ages between 5 to 6 years old (5,6 ± 0,29 years old) were assessed. The evaluation of the nutritional status was performed by means of the anthropometric indicators height-for-age (H/A) and BMI (8kg/m2) according to sex and age. The anthropometric values assesed in male and female preeschoolers were: age (5,7 ± 0,3 vs 5,6 ± 0,3 años), weight (22,2 ± 6,9 vs 18,7 ± 4,4 kg), height (1,1 ± 6,5 vs 1,1 ± 4,1 m), and BMI (15,9 ± 1,7 vs 15,5 ± 1,7 kg/m2) respectively. While the age, height, and BMI did not show any significant difference, the weight was significantly higher in men (p<0,05) than in women. Prevalence of the nutrirional status for male and female was: short height 4% vs 5%, normal height 90% vs 90%, tall height 6% vs 5%, low weight 8% vs 6%, normal weight 72% vs 85%, overweight 16% vs 8%, and obesity 4% vs 1% respectively. The study showed that 78,5% of the preschoolers was within the normal weight range, where women registered higher prevalence. In regards to overweight and obesity, preschoolers showed prevalence of 12% and 2,5% respectively, where men showed higher prevalence for both of the conditions. The results of this study conclude that while overweight-obesity has increased, low weight prevalence has decreased in the Costa Rican preschooler population.

Resumen
In this work we examine the potential contributions from collaborative ethnography in Education Sciences career, putting under discussion some aspects of academic university learning. Since collaborative ethnography in education posses a debate on who produces knowledge, when, how, for what and with what tools, it allows reflection on central elements of research teaching. We review some specific characteristics of this approach and describe the presentation made to university students of the Career of Educational Sciences of the National University of Rosario, Argentina. Through a virtual device, the potential contributions of the collaborative ethnography approach in education were then discussed. This allowed us to analyze the ways in which students assumed the ideas presented and its potential use in their future research paths. From there, we conclude on the importance of its incorporation to an educational research course in the university in spite of the challenges that this entails.

Resumen
Friedrich Nietzsche has led to a profound reproblematization of modern morality. The autonomous and rational agent as a starting point, as well as the moral appeal to universality and the limited focus on the act have been criticized by Nietzsche. As a result, the question arises: what could still be said today regarding ethics? The French philosopher Georges Bataille has taken up the challenge of dealing with ethics after Nietzsche. He proposes a valid transposition of the Nietzschean problem of morality into the twentieth century, and with that offers an important contribution in the field of ethics after the critique of modern morality, as well as of the subject after the end of the modern subject as a rational and autonomous agent. At the same time, Bataille allows for a rethinking of ethics on the basis of a posthumanist anthropology and a postmoral ethics. In these, the individual and morality are both at the same time canceled and reaffirmed in movement of transgression and in relation with evil. With Bataille it is thus possible to take a position apart from contemporary trends in moral philosophy such as subjectivism and relativism, results of the crisis of morality since Nietzsche.
