Resumen
This paper offers for the first time a critical edition of Francisco de Bances Candamo's entremés “El astrólogo tunante”, short piece included in the context of a sacramental feast, “El primer duelo del mundo”, also writed by Bances. This paper contains a study of the textual transmission, using the calculus of variants of the extant manuscripts and printed books, and a critical apparatus, consisting of two groups of notes: textual notes and philological notes.

Resumen
Enrique Jardiel Poncela's works present a literary universe plenty of modern intuitions. The cinematograph is early incorporated by the author to his artistic references and its Poetics leave a deep trace in his dramaturgy. This essay finds that influence in two paradigmatic plays. “Los ladrones somos gente honrada” and “Los habitantes de la casa deshabitada”, in both theater and cinematic versions.

Resumen
Quevedo's romance XLI (717 ed. Blecua) is a taunt of the spent language used in amorous learned poetry of Petrarchan roots, both the topic and spiritualized image of the woman and the love which appears in this kind of poetry. For this purpose Quevedo makes use of different procedures not avoiding any obscene allusion, only comprehensible through the knowledge of the erotic and burlesque Golden Age poetry.

Resumen
The coincidences and parallels in the life and works of Cervantes and El Greco are note-worthy. In their portraits and self-portraits and works of a religious and contemplative nature there are notable similarities of content and form. Toledo as city and symbol is of great significance for both. Faith, sacrifice, love and redemption are among the themes presented with depth and beauty in their works. Two works are especially focused: El Greco's “The Burial of the Count of Orgaz” and Cervantes'' “El rufián dichoso”.

Resumen
In Vicente Aleixandre's “Espadas como labios” there is a complex relationship between the dominant context of the natural world and the human presence that bears witness to it. There are continuing allusions to a paradise either already lost or still to be found. This theme rooted in romanticism is turned into one of the coordinants of the private surrealist world created by the poet in the pre-war period of his work.

Resumen
In the years preceding the Spanish Civil War, a few young aristocratic writers –"los jóvenes y el arte" was their name as a group– cultivated a nationalist and elitist Neo-Romanticism, that may be seen as a sympton of the crisis and division in the Spanish society of the time.
