Resumen
COVID-19, one of the worst pandemics in recent years, have changed the face of our world. Every sector has been experiencing a tug in unexpected directions than anticipated. Often it is said that the healthcare sector is facing a boom in this COVID-19 episode, nevertheless there has been a decline of out-patient segment in hospitals. An out-patient is one who visits a hospital for treatment without staying overnight. Through this time of uncertainty where a new normal is being burgeoned, the people’s attitude towards healthcare has shifted a great deal. Predominantly out-patients are hesitant to continue with their regular physician visits by delaying or avoiding unneeded visits. People with underlying diseases, both which are at low risk or at high risk, find themselves at higher caution due to the COVID-19. This study focuses to understand the attitude of out-patients and of out-patient’s with risk during this COVID-19 pandemic towards hospitals in India. Online or Tele medical consultation has picked up momentum among out-patients during the COVID-19 Unlock phase which shines a possibility as a new normal in the healthcare industry.

Resumen
This paper presents an efficiency analysis of the collection of municipal solid waste in Italian provinces between 2010 and 2019. Particularly, the waste service efficiency of the 110 provinces was measured by implementing non-parametric Slack Based Measure Data Envelopment Analysis (SBM-DEA). A dynamic distributional analysis of efficiencies from 2010 to 2019 was also performed to investigate the behavior of the provinces efficiency in the analysed period specifically considering their size as a discriminant factor influencing it. To this aim a kernel-based method was used. Results show that the efficiency of the MSW collection service in the Italian provinces has increased steadily. The average efficiency grew from 44.7% to 53.0% during the period from 2010 to 2019, following the improvement in the sorted waste collection rate. Furthermore, smaller provinces performed better than larger ones.

Resumen
Due to its crucial role in sustainable development, the economic structure transformation has attracted much attention at both national and provincial levels. For various reasons, the importance of regional linkages, especially spatial interaction in economic structure transformation, is not recognized and thus ignored in economic policies. This study addresses this literature gap with an empirical analysis of taking Vietnam as the study area and examines the impact of spatial interaction with metropolises on the provinces' economic structure transformation. To evaluate the impacts, this paper used Moran I statistic based on the geographic information extracted from GADM (Database of Global Administrative Areas) and the data of economic structure in the period from 2015-2018, collected from the General Statistics Office of Vietnam. The spatial panel data analysis is then performed to interpret spatial interaction influences on economic structure transformation extensively. The results show that the regional relationship can explain economic structure transformation by clustering economic activities in provinces. The spatial interaction with metropolises has positive effects on provinces' economic structure transformation. As such, stronger linkages with metropolises through investing in the transportation system, especially the infrastructure connecting areas, could also play a crucial role in reducing agricultural sector share in provinces' economic structure.

Resumen
Most of the works in literature focused on the direct connection between remittances and human development. This work employs panel quantile via method of the moment to examine the effect of remittance across conditional distributions of human development in developing countries. The results obtained revealed that remittances inflow promote human development in developing countries human development in countries with low, medium and high human development, especially in countries with high human development. Policymakers in developing countries should designs policies that will entice their migrants’ workers to send in more remittances, promote financial development, reduces the cost of sending remittances, curbed financial and cybercrimes.

Resumen
Brazil's future participation in the Belt and Road Initiative will promote economic growth, increase the importance of the initiative on the international scene and contribute to the promotion of bilateral economic and trade relations between China and Latin America countries. This paper analyses the alleged effect of BRI on Brazilian economy if the country would have chosen to join the program in the past years (2013-2019) as other countries in the world did. The alleged effect is calculated using the methodology of synthetic control: a statistical method used to evaluate the effect of an intervention/programme in comparative case studies. The results show that Brazil could benefit from joining the Belt and Road Initiative: the GDP per capita rate would be 4.73% higher each year, on average. However, to Brazil joins the BRI, it will be necessary for China and Brazil to know how to maintain a frequent and structured dialogue that projects confidence, opens paths and does not leave governmental dialogue behind what is happening in practical reality. Moreover, more academic research about the initiative and a greater dissemination of its benefits by the media will be needed to raise awareness among the public and politicians about a probable BRI agreement by Brazil.

Resumen
The bicycle is a mechanized transport vehicle that stands out for its efficiency in sustainable urban mobility with economic, environmental and social benefits compared to other modes of transport. The aim of the paper is to analyse the determining factors of active mobility by bicycle for urban trips. To do this, a survey is carried out on the mobility of potential bicycle users in the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Spain). From the factor analysis carried out, three factors are identified: convenience, infrastructure and security. The results obtained from the estimation of a binary logit indicate that the convenience factor and the distance are significant variables that increase the probability of said change, while being a woman decreases this probability. The results obtained are in line with other previous studies and represent a preliminary analysis for a study of modal choice in future works.

Resumen
Anchoring bias has been extensively studied in behavioral economics, but the influence of individual differences on this bias has rarely received attention. However, research suggests that personality traits may affect susceptibility to bias. The present study addresses how dark triad traits may affect decisions within the framework of behavioral game theory, how decisions are justified, whether anchors are generated, and how personality traits affect anchors. A total of 379 participants played the prisoner’s dilemma and traveler’s dilemma games. In both games, three groups were configured, two with anchors and one control group without anchors. The games were conducted through an online questionnaire in which participants also completed the short dark triad test. The Machiavellianism and psychopathy traits yielded relationships with the decisions made in the games but did not affect the anchors. In the traveler’s dilemma, there was a clear anchoring, and in the prisoner’s dilemma, there was no anchoring. In addition, the players rationalized the decisions made against anchoring.

In the area of insurance, probability modeling has a wide variety of applications. In life insurance, the compensation sum is calculated in advance and may often be estimated using actuarial techniques, while in motor insurance, the claim amount is generally not known in advance. In the insurance business, the improvement of actuarial risk control strategies is an essential technique for controlling insurance risk. Although an insurance company’s risk assessment about its solvency is a complex and detailed problem, its solution begins with statistical modeling of individual claims’ amounts. This article emphasizes the possible ways of obtaining a suitable probability distribution model that accurately explains insurance risks and how to use such a model for risk management purposes. For this reason, we have applied modern programming techniques and statistical software implemented the methods provided based on data on premium amounts of third-party motor insurance claims.

Resumen
The goal of the study is to look at the link between financial instability, renewable energy, and environmental quality from 1970 to 2020. To check for stationarity and cointegration among the variables, the study uses second-generation econometric approaches of Lee and Strazicich as well as Bayer and Hanck combined cointegration tests, and then uses autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) to investigate the long and short-run dynamics of the relationship, respectively. The study's long-term findings show that financial instability, oil prices, FDI, and GDP all have a significant positive effect on CO2 emissions, which degrade environmental quality, whereas increased in renewable energy consumption decreases CO2 emissions, thereby improving the quality of the environment. The findings of this study provide policymakers with new information to help them create comprehensive financial, economic, and energy supply strategies that will reduce the damaging effects of pollution on the environment.
