Resumen
Curing is of vital importance in concrete since it consists of its setting and hardening over time, in order to obtain optimum compressive strength. The objective of this research was to determine the curing method that allows reaching the highest resistance at 28 days. Three different types were used, these are: continuous hydration, wet covers and polyethylene sheets; for each of them, nine cylindrical specimens were made applying the NTE INEN 1576:2011, the compressive strength tests were carried out, applying the NTE INEN 1573:2010, at 7, 14 and 28 days in order to analyze the witness behavior. The design strength was f'c= 21MPa, the compressive strength tests showed that the method with the greatest benefit for the concrete was that of wet cover, reaching a strength value of 22.92 MPa after 28 days with relationship to design f'c.

Resumen
In 2019, Barquisimeto produced approximately 21,147tn of solid waste monthly, 61.79% was registered in the landfill; 33.25% ended up in streets, informal dumps, rivers and streams, and only 4.97% was processed by private recycling companies. Under this scenario, new informal jobs were generated, registering up to more than 500 street waste collectors who provided urban solid waste (USW) to companies for processing, demarcating the social segregation of the city. Through this work, a new business model is proposed, with an urban and architectural intervention, for the comprehensive management of MSW. This infrastructure was configured through a Revitalization and Adaptation Plan for inoperative spaces or those in physical-urban conflict, with different scales of intervention. It was designed based on Plazos. In the first, collection devices were configured in highly polluted areas, through participatory design and cooperatives, achieving a generic model with adaptability; whose main task is to receive USW that can generate direct economic resources for the communities. In the second, after establishing and disseminating the system as a lucrative job, the network of devices is expanded and factories are included, creating specialized spaces for the treatment of USW in industrial areas and outskirts of the city. In the third term, the core of the system is projected, revitalizing and recycling a disused building; an interpretation center whose main function is to promote an environment for learning and training informal reclaimers

Resumen
The comparative analysis of the E.030 2003, 2016 and 2018 seismic design standards is presented, in a study of structures using the portal system for office use in the city of Lima, it focuses on the comparison of vibration periods, percentage of participatory mass, design spectrum, mezzanine distortion, static basal shear force, dynamic and maximum design forces (bending, shear and axial moment), modeled using Etabs 17 software. The regular structure presented variation of 12.50% of static shear and 12.20% for the dynamic analysis according to the 2003 standard compared to 2016 - 2018 and the irregular structure varies by 50% according to the 2003 standard compared to 2016, also a variation of -16.67 % between the 2016 and 2018 norm directly affected by the irregularity changes. The 2018 standard has intermediate results considering modal periods for both structures through static and dynamic analysis.

Resumen
This article presents a study of angle-type shear connectors, as a new proposal for a monolithic work of the composite slab system with collaborating sheet, considering that there are currently no regulations that validate its use. The experimental analysis of 14 specimens with angle-type shear connectors positioned in plan at 90º (type L) and 45º (type V), tested with the Push-Out method established by Eurocode 4, is presented. Mechanical properties such as shear strength, ductility, and stiffness as a function of connector position, as well as failure mode. The results showed that the two groups of specimens have similar shear strength and ductility, differentiating between V-type connectors with a stiffness value 42% higher than differentiating between V-type connectors with a stiffness value those obtained in L-type connectors. The typical failure mode is due to premature cracking, of the concrete in the cross section of the slab. The results obtained for shear capacity are compared with some empirical expressions of international regulations and previous studies of similar connectors

Resumen
In the research presented here, the structural behavior of two semi-detached houses built informally was evaluated, which showed various structural problems such as knocking, short columns and column discontinuity. The mechanical properties of the materials and soil were determined by means of in situ and laboratory tests. Subsequently, the analysis was carried out using mathematical models, which were calibrated with periods taken from environmental vibrations. At this stage, it was found that the structures did not exhibit adequate behavior to resist gravitational and seismic forces, so the reinforcement of both structures by means of masonry veneer was proposed; in addition, it was proposed to join both houses at the slab level with metal plates. To eliminate the knocking problem. Finally, the proposed reinforcement was evaluated and it was shown that the veneer stiffened the structures allowing them to meet the requirements established by current regulations at low cost

Resumen
Industrial buildings are structures for various uses in the trade or development of a certain population, consequently, these types of structures are in high demand in the field of civil engineering, especially in the area of design and construction; For this reason, this research presents an analysis of self-supporting circular-type roofs, applying the finite element method under the help of the ANSYS Workbench 19.0 simulation software using first-order area-type finite elements. The vertical deformations obtained by original cross sections were compared to with the deformations of an equivalent cross section in inertia and weight. Industrial buildings with lights of 10, 20, 30, and 40 m were analyzed. A self-supporting roof section type CS 1000-610, material ASTM 653 of SS40 base metal and galvanized coating by galvanizing Z275 (G90) was considered. The support structure is made up of metal structure truss-type beams and columns in accordance with the LRFD methodology and the NEC 2015, AISI S100-07, AISC341-05 standards. Additionally, support plates suitable for this type of roof were analyzed. Stress concentrations were observed in the region of the support plate, deformations by original sections greater than the deformations by equivalent sections, and variations in cover weight and live load, the latter having a variation between 14,75% to 29,14%.

Resumen
The purpose of this study is to determine the physical and mechanical properties of concrete with ASTM A36 grade steel shavings, and to carry out a comparative study with traditional concrete. 36 specimens were taken as a sample and steel shavings were used at 0,6%, 1,5 and 6% as fine aggregate. The chip was obtained from the lathes of the company SMF Sagitario in the City of Lima. The research design is quasi-experimental and longitudinal; the data collection technique was observation. Inferential statistics were used to verify the hypothesis, where the results indicated that there are significant differences between traditional concrete and concrete with fine aggregate (Sig.=.000). Concluding that traditional concrete is superior to compressive and tensile strength at 7, 14 and 28 days of age

Resumen
The present investigation consisted of surveying damage to reinforced concrete structures in the city of Nirgua, Yaracuy State, Venezuela. Through a preliminary inspection in which data of statistical interest was collected, failures or present damages were identified, classified and quantified, such as: cracks, fissures, concrete detachment, steel delamination, bleeding, stains, cracks. The survey was carried out in 2 zones, zone A called Sector Aire Libre, and zone B called Sector la Flor del Encanto E.B "Miguel Ángel Granado". The selection of the number of structures to inspect was determined by probabilistic sampling, considering preliminary investigations, in which a carbonation constant of approximately 8.32 mm/year 0.5 was determined. This study made it possible to determine if carbonation has caused damage to structures through corrosion.
