Purpose: To analyze the relationships between self-efficacy, precompetitive anxiety, and self-perception of sports performance in two categories (under 17 and juvenile) of a Costa Rican soccer club. Methodology: 32 players participated in the study: 17 in the under 17 category (all 16 years of age) and 15 in the juvenile category (18.2 ± 0.77 years), with a mean overall age of 17.03 ± 1.23 years. Scales of general self-efficacy, precompetitive anxiety, specific self-efficacy and perception of performance were applied. Results: Under 17 players perceive their performance better compared to juvenile players. Somatic anxiety recorded a significant decrease (F(2, 46) = 10.21, p < .001) over time in both categories. Significant correlations (p < .005) were found between somatic anxiety and specific self-efficacy, somatic and cognitive anxiety, cognitive anxiety and specific self-efficacy, as well as between specific and general self-efficacy. Conclusion: The data show that players of both categories report similar results in most of the variables, there are significant correlations between some indicators, and there could be an adaptive capacity throughout the games evidenced in the decrease of somatic anxiety.

Height and weight evaluation to calculate BMI, the Physical Activity Questionnaire for Older Children (PAQ-C), and Lawrence Self-Esteem Questionnaire (LAWSEQ) were applied. According to the results, 25% of students have a prevalence of overweight and obesity and 4% in low weight. In physical activity, 77% perceive themselves to be moderately active. Regarding self-esteem, it was found that 51% had low self-esteem and only 4% had a high level of self-esteem. Joaquin Blest Gana built across the podium of literary criticism, a heterosexual male voice, in which the thought and the body reach the public sphere by morality and aesthetics to establish his speech at the level of emancipation illustrated powered by generation of 1842. Since the Revista de Santiago (first period, from 1848 to 1849) at first and the newspaper La Semana (1859), for a second, Joaquin Blest Gana established a critical discourse that is passed into the realm of aesthetic appreciation literature, to defend a masculine morality in the use of public space lawyer.

The importance of the gesture and the glance in oral communication face-to-face are undeniable,  however, the communication skills of children with Specific Language Impairment  (SLI) has been measured, primarily preferring a description of its language orally or has been considered the verbal and non-verbal in an isolated manner. Given this, the objective of this study was to describe and interpret the use of the word, gesture and glances  in narrative discourse in children SLI from a multimodal perspective, that allows to observe not only the use of these resources, but also their integration. With a retelling task  with support of visual images, oral productions of six Chilean children between 5 years and 5 years 11 months were analyzed. The findings indicate that children construct narratives from a combination of verbal and non-verbal resources and their number increases when the character’s actions are described. Also, it was possible to account for two instances of multisemiotic meaning construction through an assembly between different elements, in coordination or integration. These results corroborate previous findings (Botting, Riches, Gaynor & Morgan, 2010) that show that these children replace some of their problems with oral language through gestures and looks, which allow them to increase the communicability of their stories.

The prolific discussion about consciousness has resulted a multiplicity in the uses for the term. The -curious- little clarity regarding the use of the notion, can lead to confusion to who tries to enter the contemporary discussion of the philosophy of mind. The purpose of this article is to serve as a starting point for those who seek to enter the contemporary discussion of consciousness, presenting: i) the central concept of the consciousness that is used, and ii) give an account of the state of the discussion, that is, the central problem of consciousness.

In this paper we study the inferential analysis of the use of fallacies as a source of absurd communication. Starting from a diachronic review of perpectives, criteria and classification of fallacies, we analyze the fallacious arguments used in absurd discourses which are meant to trigger humor as well as the dislocation of the communicative sense (Applied to a Matt Groening’s TV programme).
