Children are a social group of priority attention for public policies in Mexico. Educational proposals must change the traditional school for one focused on the needs of each community, including children as key authors who participate and are heard when making decisions. This article proposes an alternative focused on the needs of the communities in a rural school in the Mayan - Chontal community Quintín Arauz, Centla, Tabasco. The evolution of the concepts of heritage, community, memory and “patrimonialization” are briefly presented, as well as problems in the area and opportunities of the educational model. A specific curriculum is proposed with workshops and youth organizations, thinking that it must be proposed and applied from within, using multidirectional transmission of knowledge with the contribution and cooperation of the members of the community. The proposal must consider the inevitable changes of any social group and be modified to the needs expressed by its members. Public policies should improve the articulation and management of projects of this type to have a greater impact on the communities.

This study analyzes the adventures of Camerina Rabasa, the main character in Polvos de arroz (1959), by Sergio Galindo. The main objective is to show how, from an act of reading, Camerina builds an ideal relationship with Juan Antonio. Likewise, its purpose is to explain the transit that the protagonist goes through to reach a state of solitude, from which she can only escape with her imagination. Finally, its mission is to highlight the constant tension between facticity and fiction, where the former prevails and leads to disenchantment. The work concludes with the idea that Camerina Rabasa is the hyperbolization of a way of reading and a way of relating to the world. The value of this research lies in the fact that it offers a new look at this novel by Galindo, which, traditionally, has been observed only from the story of customs, from its relationship with literary realism, and from the typification of some “feminine” features.

In this paper, I propose to show that the theoretical concepts of genetic criticism can be usefully applied to the study of epitextual variation, as a result of the complex interaction between public and private forces once the work is released. The analysis of a manuscript of Luis Cernuda 1902-1963), postexts of Hernan Bravo Varela (1979) and the text as process concept as shown in Stephanie Alcantar’s (1990) Choreography of fear exposes the complex relationships between very different works that coincide in an extended notion of the text as process. It is a novel approach that allows presenting the complex dialogue between the private and public states of a work (between its rewritings through different traditions and even between its interpretations) until its irruption in the most recent poetics.

The objective of this research was to evaluate if the urban conditions predict variations in overcrowding and telematic equipment in Venezuelan homes. Using data from the Living Conditions Survey (2014, 2017), two trail analysis models were built, where urban conditions, city size and social stratification were exogenous variables; housing conditions was the mediator, and telematic equipment and overcrowding were the result variables. The predictor variable with the greatest weight was urban conditions, followed by social stratification, while city size had low influence. The comparison of direct and indirect effects on the outcome variables highlighted the importance of urban development to support housing. The data available for the construction of the models was restricted to 2014 and 2017; which coincides with the beginning of the humanitarian crisis suffered by the country. Better urban conditions predict reductions in overcrowding and increases in telematics equipment and Internet access, with housing conditions as the mediating variable. Social policies must prioritize investment in urban improvements before massive housing construction. The work is a contribution to the understanding of housing social policy under the critical multiplism approach proposed by W. N. Dunn.

This article analyzes the meaning of agroecological markets based on the experiences of the Red de Mercados Agroecológicos Campesinos and the Federación Campesina de Mercados Agroecológicos en Colombia. We used the case study method with semi-structured interviews and surveys; the analysis was based on the triangulation of the results with the theoretical framework of the social construction of markets and agroecology. We identified dimensions beyond the direct commercialization of food produced under agroecological practices in the meaning of agroecological markets, whose purpose is to protect health, the environment, and to vindicate the peasantry. The study is limited to rural producers. It makes an approach to the concept of agroecological market from consumers and producers, taking agroecology as a form of food production and as a political project for the sustainable redesign of food systems for peasant agriculture. We found that agroecological markets are constructed as multidimensional social processes from relationships based on trust, which seek to educate about agroecology and its benefits. Keywords: social construction of markets, agroecology, producers and consumers, knowledge, politics.

In the municipality of Simojovel de Allende, Chiapas are the main amber deposits of all Mesoamerica, a natural resource derived from a process of formation of millions of years. The adoption of neoliberal policies that resulted in a peasant crisis in Mexico and the opening of the Republic of China to the global market, incorporated amber into the international market around 1990 and accelerated the entry of the regional population to the exploitation of this resin. This article analyzes from the Feminist Political Ecology the economic transformations, social and environmental impact of amber mining on the lives of Simojovel women and the access and benefit they have in the participation of the amber mining production chain from data obtained from in-depth interviews and other ethnographic cutting techniques. It was found that women participate in the entire production chain of amber mining and that the transformations particularly affect the care and productive work performed by women.

AbstractThe chronicle has been studied from its discursive breadth. Its vindication as a historical text and as a cultural product have made it an object of interest in contemporary historiography and Cultural Studies. However, its study from the History of Literature has not been sufficient. Because of it, this text will firstly show the diversity of the chronicle concept; and in second place, it will expose the development of the chronicle in Mexico through a corpus of seventeen texts from the nineteenth century, taking to this account a time limit based on guidelines proposed by Belem Clark (2009). This century is the point of departure for the corpus of this study because it is during this period that the hybridization of the chronicle and journalism came about, a fact that relegated the study of this text from the literary academy. Therefore, within the various concepts in which the chronicle has been handled, though arguable, the genre revindicates in its historicity given by historiographical and the multiple disciplinary studies eclosion.
