Gender perspective in universities has become a topic of extreme relevance in the management and governance of these educational entities since it seeks to contribute to the construction of a more just society where men and women have the same rights and opportunities in the educational, economic, and labor spheres. From this perspective, this work seeks to characterize the actions being carried out in the area of gender, which are being put into practice in Chilean state universities through a documentary review that included scientific articles and various institutional documents. Generally, it was detected that there is a direct involvement from the strategic level, evidenced by the creation of a new institutional framework. It is concluded that universities face the challenge of adapting their forms of government and promoting the required cultural change, according to the particular needs of each institution.

La existencia del desplazamiento forzado como consecuencia del conflicto armado interno en Colombia, es una constante en casi todas sus regiones, pero este escrito se concentrará en una consecuencia, la inclusión laboral en el departamento de Sucre-Colombia, por tanto, pretende analizar los determinantes de inclusión laboral de la población víctima del desplazamiento forzado por la violencia en el departamento de Sucre para los años 2011 y 2016. La investigación es de tipo deductiva con un enfoque descriptivo y cuantitativo, con estimaciones de modelos Logit y Probit, utilizando como fuente de información datos de la Encuesta Nacional de Calidad de Vida para los años referidos con resultados no concluyentes, en referencia de evidenciar una desventaja en participación, empleabilidad y rentabilidad de la población desplazada en el departamento de Sucre, Colombia.

El uso de inteligencia artificial ha superado el enfoque académico, y transciende por sus beneficios, que están orientados al desarrollo de la gestión pública. La presente investigación se realizó con el propósito de analizar la inteligencia artificial en la gestión pública en tiempos de Covid-19, específicamente se abordó la relevancia de las oportunidades, evaluación del impacto y el gran potencial ofrecido por la inteligencia artificial. La metodología que se utilizó refiere a una revisión documental en las siguientes bases científicas Scopus, Taylor & Francis, Wos, Ebsco y Scielo, lo cual proporciona un amplio e importante panorama general de la inteligencia artificial y su impacto sobre la gestión pública en tiempos de pandemia. Los resultados marcan ciertas claves para diseñar políticas y estrategias de uso de la inteligencia artificial en diferentes contextos de la gestión pública, mostrando las bondades y desafíos. Se concluye que la llegada de avances tecnológicos devela el alcance de la tecnología a la gestión pública, una diversidad de medios o instrumentos para su eficiencia e impacto colocan en funcionamiento, dando apoyo en el desarrollo de sistemas de control que otorgan legalidad y generan procesos democratizadores para la dirección pública.

This book contains parts of the first doctoral thesis in Spain on audiovisual pedagogy in music classrooms, written by the author of this book. After more than two decades, it has been published this year. Among the pages of this work, one can find a great variety of examples and proposals especially aimed at music teachers. The result is a text divided into ten chapters, presented through a clarifying introduction and a powerful final coda. All of the author's arguments show a marked motivational character, with multiple references to film music, which invites reflection and invites us not to watch audiovisual material again without considering its educational potential.

The aim of this paper is to analyse the treatment of musical creativity in the Primary Education curriculum of the Spanish educational system as a basis for understanding the musical didactic orientation and the contribution to its education as a transversal competence. Following a documentary review methodology, this work analyses and compares creativity in the Primary Education music curricula of all the autonomous communities in the period 2014-2022. For the analysis of the data, a matrix of categories and subcategories of study is developed to investigate creativity in Arts Education, the methodology for its teaching and its evaluation. From the texts analysed, arise the belief that the teaching of musical creativity in Primary Education could contribute to the development of the autonomy, understanding and musical expression of pupils, and therefore, curricular documents should reinforce its treatment by providing greater concreteness and a meaningful relationship between the purpose, the methodological approach and the assessment that determine its education.

The present study focuses on two potential benefits of music education: social-emotional learning and education in values, in the context of training given in professional music conservatories in the subject of Musical Language. The qualitative methodology used, through the focus group technique, has made it possible to analyze the perceptions of teachers, students and families regarding these benefits. As a result of the analysis, a coincidence has been evidenced between the interlocutors about the importance that should be given to education in values and social-emotional learning in professional music conservatories, and, especially, with students who present specific needs. Despite the absence of evidence of conscious planning of social-emotional contents or those related to education in values in the subject of Musical Language, the participants perceive that the subject does contribute to their development. It is also pointed out as future improvements: the promotion of group work, interaction and intragroup cohesion.

Music education for deaf students in Chile problematizes the professional work of special education teachers due to the experience and training in music with antagonistic positions between structural determinism and sensorial transposition. This study aimed to characterize the sensory visual and kinesthetic experiences of deaf first grade students at a special school in the Metropolitan Region of Santiago de Chile. School case studies included participatory observation in the classroom during the course, visual data collection, and in-depth interviews. Six deaf students who use Chilean sign language participated. The Chilean sign language, as the mother tongue of the deaf, was employed along with interpreter support. The data were transcribed from video to a gloss of written Spanish with the content analysis of the sensory experience from the categories of sensory transposition and structural determinism. Results from sensory transposition and structural determinism recognized the need for a student specific visual didactics, thereby contributing to the deconstruction of sound as a hegemonic element of music education.
