This paper describes some of the results of a qualitative study focused on analyzing the influence of Learning-Service (LS) practices in promoting strong participation of primary school students in socio-educational action for the improvement of their surroundings. The study axis was a LS project implemented in a primary school classroom which involved primary school students and teachers, university students and community socio-educational agents. The case study was the method of inquiry and document analysis, participant observation and semi-structured interviews were the information collection instruments. The results showed the changes in participation by the students involved in the project and in the setting, which was an abandoned physical community space rehabilitated and revalued by the work of the teachers and other educational agents. These results lead to the conclusion that SL opens new horizons of possibility for the articulation of educational practices including the voices of minors as an element for improving their schooling.

The technology in the control of emissions of polluting gases has developed remarkably in the last years since the effects of these chemical residues are very remarkable in the damage to the ecosystem in general, since this is reflected in the global warming and in the Greenhouse effect, this has allowed the automotive industry to focus on producing vehicles with a low emissions index to collaborate with the care of the environment, in the same way the systems have been improved so that pollution in general is That from a carburizing system an electronic system was developed that considerably reduced pollutant emissions. More and more technology is being developed and electronics are more important to help with emissions control. The future in the automotive industry to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases are hybrid vehicles. The aid of sophisticated and specialized equipment to determine the exact values ​​of emissions of polluting gases play a fundamental role in helping the user or the technician in controlling that these gases do not exceed the values ​​established by the organism that controls those gases.

The objective of this project is to analyze the lighting levels of 5 different types of Vehicle. In your analysis we will check the cost analysis of the headlights and the high and low lights of the 5 vehicles. For this analysis of light measurements we will use an APP (application) called "Lux" which is a program that verifies the intensity of the light that is in the environment and using a cell phone sensor. For the use of the APP, it would be better to appreciate it at night, it is safer to have a better lighting system.

This theoretical analysis aims to highlight the importance of service companies in the development of emerging economies, understanding that Ecuador is a country that is classified within this type of economy and in which there is a high number of ventures generally established from the need of citizens to generate new forms of income. It is found that in the country more than 40% of the companies are from the service sector and their production contributes about 60% of GDP.

The main idea of this project is to improve relationships in the school through Judo. This study is leading the way by different departments such as   Physical Culture in coordination with the general inspectors ‘office and Students Counseling groups. The study was carried out amoung of 24 students between 8 and 17 ages from different grades and curses at Liceo Naval Guayaquil.     This investigation was made using methodological strategies of qualitative orientation: a questionnaire about social variables and interactions in the dojo; the field diary of the teacher and the interview. To carry out this proposal, the socio-critical paradigm focused on "action research" is used, strategies that combine theory and praxis and serve to improve the educational and social system.   The objective of this Project was to promote physical activity through the program "Judo as a pedagogical strategy" that allows the solution of social conflicts and strengthen the processes of integration and socialization through sport. The introduction of socializing games of cooperative way, using all different variants and modalities, it was transversal in all parts of the structure of the sessions. The learning styles stand out: solving problems, detection guided and direct commanding.   Finally it was achieved the pedagogical strategy to prevent social conflicts in and out of the  classroom, promoting integration and socialization processes through the sport of combat, based on the original ideology of the Founder of Judo (Jigoro Kano) to the contribution of well-being Social.         KEYWORDS: Judo, social competencies, pedagogical strategies, educational facilities, integration.

The devaluation of the Colombian peso against the dollar, the application of safeguards by the Ecuadorian government, the drop in the price of oil worldwide, among other factors, depressed border trade in Ecuador, essentially in the province of Carchi where the main income economic is by commercial activities with the department of Nariño, south of Colombia. One of the measures adopted by the Government of Rafael Correa was to declare the Province of Carchi as "depressed area" on August 18th, 2015, and whose objective was that merchants registered in the Internal Revenue Service SRI, can acquire products in Colombia to sell them in your locality at competitive prices generating commercial reactivation. This research uses the analytical and systemic method, with a technical approach applied in two cases of companies in the commercial sector, using projections with a polynomial tendency to reach diagnostic conclusions.

En el presente trabajo se estudiaron 172 pacientes que acudieron al Hospital Homero Castanier Crespo de la ciudad de Azogues en el periodo 2010-2012 con diagnóstico de intento de suicidio, con el fin de describir, analizar y encontrar el perfil del paciente asociado con el intento de suicidio del tipo impulsivo, para ello se estudiaron 20 variables independientes y su asociación con la variable tipo de intento de suicidio, adicionalmente se realizó una segmentación bajo la metodología de árboles de decisión de los pacientes obteniendo asociados con el tipo de intento de suicidio.Palabras clave: Intento de suicidio, perfiles de pacientes, prevalencia, suicidio impulsivo.

Within the framework of the higher education admission policies implemented in Ecuador, a matter that has become a social issue is the approval of the Higher Education Admission Test (ENES) as the only for admission into public universities. For this reason, the objective of this study was to learn about the perceptions of the applicants from a qualitative perspective. The study carried out two student focus group sessions: (1) High-school graduates admitted into the system’s levelling course, and (2) high-school graduates that, because of their grade, were not admitted into public higher education. The thematic data analysis allowed to learn that the participants agree with an admittance test for public higher education, university (institutional) control and management of the process, returning to the specialties system in secondary education, and the non-integral nature of the current admittance test, as it only assesses three types of reasoning – logical-mathematical, verbal, and abstract. The findings evince that this standardized test (device) contradicts constitutional principles of equality of opportunity and social justice and equity because admittance into public higher education and the career of preference is conditioned by the grade students obtain in the ENES test, without consideration of the country’s diversity.   Key words: admission process, higher education policies, Higher Education National Test (ENES), public universities.

Canvas as a business model proposal is an agile and practical methodology forstructuring proposals of value. Its scope of application is broad: from large companies tomicroenterprises and middle enterprises. This paper, describes the application of the modelinvestigated in six microenterprises belonging to two parish councils in Quito: Tababela andCheca. We worked with a random sample of 479 business clients. The process followed was acharacterization of each parish, identification of the microenterprises, a survey was applied tothe clients and an interview with the owners of the businesses. With these inputs, a situationaldiagnosis was made involving the nine modules of the Canvas business model. These resultswere taxed to the internal analysis and allowed the preparation of the canvas for each business.In conclusion, the Canvas business model applied in the six microenterprises will improve theirincome, customer service and consolidate them as business initiatives

The article based its research on establishing the relationship between the visual perception and the writing skill of children from the second, third and fourth year of General Basic Education of the School San José “La Salle” of Quito city in the school year 2016-2017. By considering that the visual perception allows the cortical recognition, resulting from the subjective sensory experiences. Specifically, of the stimulus that enters by the eyes. On the other hand, the writing is a graphic representation that enables the record of human thought and the optimal transmission of data and information to relate to the medium in which the person develops. It is based on the quantitative approach, on a documentary, field, and descriptive research. The theoretical framework is duly supported. The results manifest that a great percentage of children present difficulties in visual perception, basic pre-requisite skill for learning of writing, thus implying the existence of errors in it. It concludes that absence of skills of visual perception, therefore, intervention by teachers is essential, in order to reduce possible writing difficulties for students.
