In this research it has been proposed a mathematical algorithm of lineal programmingthat evaluates the conditions that intervene in the inventories of raw materials stored in a shoesoles industry such as the demand, the limit of the productive capacity, and the related costs ofcarrying inventory; it is generated an objective function and its respective restrictions of thesystem, the same that is modeled and solved in a Lingo® programming software, the algorithmenables the optimization of the amounts of material to be required, inventory at the end of eachperiod and the amount of missing units with the finality of satisfying the demand and bothminimizing the total cost of the inventory maximizing the profit in planning´s horizon of twelvemonths. As a result, the mathematical model presented to the control of raw material inventorythat generates saving money per year of $ 52566.50, which come to an improvement of 25.6%with respect to the current model.

This document supports its development in the application of agricultural policies in Ecuador, and its intention to prioritize the socio economic development of the small peasant farmer to analyze mentioned problem was sought to determine the state intervention in the policy development under the criteria of land tenure, water management, technological development, financing and agricultural development. To establish a descriptive approach to agricultural policy and its search to settle a pending historical debt, implemented a kind of descriptive research of non-experimental design generating the study of an existing problem, understanding this as the state’s intervention for the development of the small agricultural producer.  The evolution of the agricultural policy under the aforementioned criteria was assessed in a descriptive way.  The   resulting research shows the low incidence of the Ecuadorian agricultural policy on the peasant family farm producer despite attempts to pay the social debt that Ecuador has over the rural population.

Abstract: The research was carried out to the Ecuadorian State institutions, finding the need for an adequate management of the information allowing the evaluation of the infrastructure, the information systems and the organizational measures from the technological perspective. In this study, we used the inductive-deductive method that with an experimental approach allowed the solution to the problem of the disorderly handling of information. In the study an audit was conducted by the governing body to the EGSI and allowed to establish a starting point, then with the risk analysis and ISO / IEC 27005: 2012 - OCTAVE- S obtain the controls, policies and procedures of security of information, which will be implemented by the information security committee of the institution studied, allowing better risk management. The disorders produced by repetitive movements, produce serious damages to the health of the workers, the investigation was carried out in the personnel of the line of slaughter of cattle of a company of Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas from June to September of 2017 in order to evaluate repetitive movements (MR) of upper limbs, their characteristics, relationship with working conditions and other factors. It was used as a tool, the ergonomic analysis of the position, the application of the ergonomic method CheckListOcra and the specific medical examination. In the indentation position, the evaluation was carried out, where activities similar to the rest of the posts in the line are carried out. We identified 11 cycles of actions, all performed repetitive movements as well as other ergonomic risks, we also ranked the work stages where the repetitive activities were higher in frequency in actions 6, 8, 9 and 11 with a duration of 3 seconds. Corroborated with the specific medical analysis to the 55 employees and it was reported that 40% are positive to the physical examination, 56% to the neurological examination and the ergonomic method determined high risks for the right upper extremity and middle in the upper extremity left.

The study evaluates alternative methods to control Botrytis cinerea in strawberrycrops (Fragaria vesca) with the use of plant extracts of cinnamon (Cinnamomum zeylanicum)and horsetail (Equisetum arvense L.). The research carried out in an established strawberryculture of 8 months of age, Albion variety, applying the extracts obtained by the steamdistillation method. The doses evaluated were 250ml / liter, 500ml / liter, 750ml / liter and1000ml / liter respectively, measuring the inhibitory effect of B. cinerea in the field 40 daysafter the first application. The analyzed variables were severity, incidence and weight of thefruit, finding a better fungicidal effect with cinnamon extract with a dose of 1000ml / liter, being a new alternative for fungal control taking advantage of the use of the secondarymetabolites of the plants and having a less harmful effect on environmental pollution thatdoes not affect the health of the farmer

This descriptive and correlational study has a quantitative approach. This research is based on the need to identify the acceptance dimension - parental rejection for the positive exercise of paternity. The objective of this research was to determine how the dimensions of affection, rejection, and parental control relate to family typologies, age, gender and level of education of parents. The Rohner Parent Parq/Control survey was applied to 569 parents, whose children attend public and private schools of Cuenca, from first to seventh grade, and the Rohner & Khaleque Parent Parq/Control questionnaire (2005) was applied. In the statistical analysis, in addition to descriptive values, nonparametric statistical tests were used. The results indicated that parents from Cuenca to frequently display affection and control, and barely express indifference, aggression and rejection. Also, it was found that affection and indifference do not depend on gender, age or level of education of parents. In addition, the study revealed that aggression, rejection and control are more common in parents who are under 36 years old. Parents that only attended primary school tend to express more control than the rest. Furthermore, affection is mostly displayed in nuclear families, whereas aggression, indifference, rejection and control are present in all the studied families. In conclusion, regardless of sociodemographic factors, most parents manifest acceptance, affection and control towards their children.

Abstract: The quality of the current commercial dynamics becomes the main differentiatingfactor in an increasingly competitive market, even more in the services sector, where thegrowing emergence of new emerging destinations and the constant diversification of Touristproducts, has developed a thin line between the offer and the decision of purchase or returnby the client. In Ecuador, this is an element that has become more and more relevant in recentyears, the implementation of quality standards and models has been concentrated mainly inthe establishments oriented towards a receptive market, as well as in the main Destinations inthe country, however, as a public policy aimed at promoting tourism quality is being put inplace, the language of quality has been progressively included in other territories and markets. This work includes some experiences obtained in the application of quality in the servicessector, as part of a process of formation and articulation with the business sector, mainly insmall and medium-sized tourism companies and hospitality. Keywords: Quality in service, SERVQUAL, Quality management in tourism and hospitality
