Resumen
In the last five years Latin America has shown a gradual shift to the left, which has led some analysts such as Jorge Castañeda (2021) and Andrés Oppenheimer (2022) to talk about a new "pink tide" in the region. The government of Miguel Díaz-Canel expects that the new regional political context will allow them to retrieve the same levels of autonomy that Cuba enjoyed during the so-called "post-liberal regionalism" (2003-2015). In this sense, this article aims to: 1) identify the new opportunities for international insertion that are opening up for Cuba in this new phase and 2) analyze to what extent the new "pink tide" can contribute to Cuba regaining the levels of autonomy it enjoyed during "post-liberal regionalism" and thus strengthen its battered national viability.

Resumen
This paper analyzes the relationship between political participation and life cycle, focusing on youth in Europe. Based on the results of the European Social Survey (2018), the study shows the consolidation of patterns of activism which diverge from conventional politics. The research also indicates that this population sector is characterized by higher levels of participation than other age groups in activities which directly contribute to the visibilization of their political interests and concerns. Finally, there are several forms of activism which respond to the structural transformations of political participation patterns of European societies.

Resumen
This article studies youth political participation and polarization in the context of a rising radical right in Spain. After analyzing recent secondary sources and the journalistic representation of the phenomenon during the last Andalusian elections, we identify the affective components of youth political polarization, the de-ideologization and emotionalization of political behavior, currently associated with the growing support for radical right-wing formations. The volatility of the youth vote, the generational effect and the detachment of young people from institutions and conventional forms of participation also explain their preference for other non-conventional forms of political participation.

Resumen
Do young people place themselves on right-wing positions to a larger extent? There is a common wisdom about the natural left-wing ideology of youth, compared to adult individuals who would prefer more right lean positions. However, evidence about how age works to explain ideological preferences is scarce. In this article, we analyse how age affects citizens’ ideology paying attention to the life cycle effect, but also the cohort or generational effects, derived from the context when individuals were socialised. Empirical evidence from this article suggests that current youth, even if they keep on placing themselves on left-wing positions to a larger extent than adults, has moved to right-wing ideological positions compared to who were young and socialised during the sixties and seventies.

Resumen
The academic literature understands, in a consensual way, that political participation must be found at the center of democracy. But, around the meaning of the concept of political participation itself, there are disagreements. If to the debate on the meaning of participation and the possible implications of this debate we add young people as protagonists, a group considered especially apathetic and disaffected from traditional literature, the arguments become even more diverse. That is why it is necessary to delve into the ideas, beliefs and attitudes of our young people, especially their knowledge and interest in politics. In this work, we contribute to the knowledge about youth and political participation by focusing on how is the socialization of young people at the university, what they know, what they do not know and what impacts them after bringing politics closer to the classroom.

Resumen
The aim of this article is to check which variables explain the vote of young people for radical parties in Spain and how they behave in the different ideological extremes. That is, what differentiates the vote for Vox and for Unidas Podemos? Specifically, the case of voting for Unidas Podemos and Vox since 2019, the year in which the latter party entered Congress, is analyzed. To carry out this research, the analysis will identify the reasons that lead young people to vote for the different radical options as well as the differences between them and adults who also vote for these parties. This work is framed within the electoral behavior literature and bases its empirical contributions on data from the European Social Survey.

Resumen
Most of the political elites begin their careers during their youth, generally by joining some of the youth organizations linked to the different political parties. The purpose of this article is to analyze the presence of the Socialist Youth of Spain (JSE) in the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE). For this, we study the presence of young people in the executive of this party between the year 2000 and the present, also analyzing their profiles. In this way, we will show that the representation of youth has not improved significantly during the period.

Resumen
The year 2022 has been declared by the European Council as ‘European Year of Youth’. Because of this, this article seeks to know which role could play the European Union on youth’s future and also whether if there are gender differences about it. Likewise, those differences are analysed in different social and political activities both in the Union as a whole and by different geographical areas. This paper shows how men tend to take part in conventional activities while women seem to feel more distant about political participation. It also unravels the existing gender differences regarding the obstacles to take part in any kind of activity.

Resumen
Women, young people and students have begun to break the silence that prevailed as normal in the Universities in relation to the sexual violence that exists inside their Campuses. Through feminist cyberactivism and the use of non-conventional means to expose their complaints, they have created networks whose purpose in to create spaces of support and solidarity with the victims as a collective response strategy. The objective sought is to publicize the most visible example of this type of network in Spanish Universities, the “MeToo University” Network. Spreading their existence is equivalent to giving a voice to the survivors.

Resumen
Carlism underwent a process of redefinition of its ideology, which led to the proposal of a political alternative, global self-management socialism. This ideology was outlined, of course, as the political proposal of Carlism from the late Franco years, but also as an alternative to the dictatorship and the way in which the process of transition to democracy was being carried aout, through of the defense of the democratic rupture. In short, it outlined a possible future. This article aims to analyze that ideology under the announced paraments.
