Resumen
This essay examines the particularities of the organization of Base Church Communities in the municipality of Chicomuselo for the defense of the territory. This organization derives from theology of liberation, which can now be conceptualized as “libertarian Christianity,” considering the hermeneutic transformations of the praxis and its objectives in recent years. Based on Enrique Dussel, this paper analyzes the displacement of a revolutionarypraxis sustained on social sciences by a communitarian praxis that breaks away from a monological discourse, as well as the transformation of an anthropocentric theology into another one based on the concept of the Mother Earth. It also discusses to what extent these changes allow us to speak of a process of autonomic construction.

Resumen
This article seeks to understand how the Catholic family model was disrupted by the climate of the Second Vatican Council, Liberation Theology, and sociocultural modernization. The analysis focuses on the Christian Family Movement in Argentina and allows an examination of the political and cultural radicalization of a conservative organization of the upper classes (created to strengthen the Catholic family) and the theological debates on the subject of the family that were sparked by the preferential option for the poor in Latin America. The analysis reveals that radicalization challenged the very foundations of the Catholic Church’s family doctrine, and, at the same time, the swift reaction of the Episcopate that restored order and defended the essentialist view of the family, an ideological cornerstone in the 1976 coup d’état.

Resumen
This article proposes to carry out a comparative study of Liberation Theology movements in Latin America and Iran. The purpose will be to underline the similarities between these theological movements through the works of Gustavo Gutiérrez, a Peruvian theologian and Ali Shariati, from Iran. We will study their innovative interpretations of the religious concepts of Christianity and Islam, as well as the causes and consequences of these movements in their respective regions in the 1960s-80s. Furthermore we will discuss how these theologians –while grounding their teachings on their religions– utilize Marxist categories to interpret and transform their socio-political realities. The article argues that these movements show significant possibilities of being true transmodern and transnational projects of liberation, based on the theoretical framework proposed by Global South theorists like Enrique Dussel (Philosophy of Liberation).

Resumen
This essay tackles a Latin American tendency among religious sisters who, due to a new social awareness, have made a remarkable shift in their work and turned towards the world of the poor to share their deprived, peripheral and marginalized living areas; a tremendous change which has marked their insubordination towards the conventional religious lifestyle. This shift has taken shape in a context of converging changes, not only ecclesial, but also social ones. Second Vatican Council has had a significant influence on those religious sisters’ life choice, and the Second Conference of the Latin America Episcopate (CELAM) held in Medellin in 1968 gave it further momentum.

Resumen
This dossier compiles studies on the cinematic production of Spain—and, to a lesser extent, Portugal—that deal with the conditions created by the economic crisis and the resulting austerity measures in both countries. In addition to a comprehensive study that offers a typology of the abundant filmography on the subject, the dossier is made up of four articles centered on case studies of feature-length and short films both fictional and documentary.
