Resumen
In the present work, the effect of pH on the synthesis of (bis)thiourea cadmium chloride was studied by the chemical bathing technique. The obtained compound [CdCl2{SC(NH2)2}2] was characterized by techniques such as: X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). FTIR describes and identifies the vibrations of the bonds that make up the (bis)thiourea cadmium chloride molecule at both an acid and a basic pH. Using the DRX characterization technique, a greater disorder is observed in the crystalline structure for the synthesis developed at a basic pH compared to the synthesis carried out at an acidic pH, and it was determined that an acidic medium favors the obtaining of the cadmium chloride complex (bis)thiourea, so the applications for this compound will depend on the pH used for its synthesis.

Resumen
VLSI integrated circuits (large scale integration) are those that are characterized by their extremely small dimensions, consisting mainly of semiconductor oxide metal field effect transistors (MOSFET), whose channel lengths are less than micrometer, allowing the integration of a greater number of transistors per cm2 in a single design. In the present work, a NAND gate based on CMOS technology is designed by Tanner Eda's L-Edit tool, performing the necessary mathematical calculations for the determination of the W, L ratios of the MOSFET transistors, following the established design rules at the time of designing the respective layout. For the creation of design libraries and their subsequent use in larger and more complex integrated circuits.

It is shown how to use the Python programming languagein order to get graphical representations of time series. Furthermore,Python is used to study the concept of the visibility graphof a time series. The examples shown here could be useful in contexts where programming may be applied in scientific problems.

Resumen
There are reports about the relationship between testosterone levels and aggressiveness in animals and humans. The practice of martial arts requires high levels of pain tolerance, fear control and of course, enough aggressiveness to overcome psychological and biological stress. Therefore, the objective of the present study was to identify the relationship between basal testosterone levels and martial arts practice by comparing total serum testosterone values between male athletes and martial artists. In this cross-sectional study, the total testosterone between a control group of 15 male athletes and 15 male martial artists was compared. The participants had the following inclusion criteria: healthy men between 18 and 35 years old, not obese, with at least 1 year of continuous training, 3 to 5 sessions per week with a duration from 60 to 90 min at a moderate to high intensity, non smokers, alcohol free, and free from exogenous testosterone or testosterone precursors. Blood samples were recolected between 8:00 to 10:00 am and the laboratory results were obtained by chemiluminescence. The testosterone levels mean of the martial artist's group was 6.44 (±1.17) ng/mL and the athlete's control group had a mean of 6.09 (±1.32) ng/mL. Comparing values with the Student´s t-test showed no statistically significant difference, with a p value of 0.45. There is no significant difference of basal total testosterone levels between male martial artists and athletes, and it seems there is no direct relationship between testosterone levels and martial arts practice. Further investigation on the physiologic responses produced by the practice of combat sports is a growing necessity.

Resumen
Infection with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) or acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) as a complication is now considered a chronic disease and, although mortality and morbidity have been significantly reduced, the psychosocial impact of the disease generates painful consequences in the patient reflected in anxiety and depression. The concept of quality of life is global, multidisciplinary, and involves objective and subjective aspects. Health-related quality of life involves functioning and physical symptoms, psychological factors and social aspects. The interest of this review lies in the social impact of HIV, not only in relation to the economic and political repercussions for treatment and prevention, but also in the identification of variables related to the improvement of the quality of life of people with HIV. There is a great interest in the study of quality of life of patients with HIV / AIDS, and research has shown that there is a relationship between quality of life and psychological variables such as anxiety and depression, as well as biological parameters such as CD4 lymphocyte levels and the viral load that could perhaps be considered in
health decisions and in interventions that promote protection and welfare factors. The implementation of interventions aimed at improving the quality of life of patients with HIV / AIDS throughout the evolutionary period of infection is very important.

Resumen
The Systemic Arterial Hypertension (SAH), one of the major chronic non-communicable diseases that afflict modern life, is a public health problem that disproportionately affects developed and developing countries, which can usually start at a reproductive age, it also shortens life expectancy and its lack of control can increase a precarious quality of life. However, despite the fact that the association between compliance with pharmacological treatment and the greater degree of control of chronic diseases is currently known, the way patients face their disease, due to the fact that hypertension rarely produces symptoms, lessens the fulfillment of their treatment due to ignorance, oblivion or little interest on behalf of the doctor or the null capacity in this problem of public health that leads to have no control of blood pressure readings. This is why the behavior of people can play an important role in this change, thereby achieve reducing the main complications, and even have a higher quality of life, if the patient is duly committed to the new lifestyle that the disease demands.

Resumen
Breast cancer is a public health problem and it is more frequent in women living in both developed and developing countries, so it is important to identify the factors associated with delayed access to health care and to implement public policies for a timely diagnosis and treatment. The objective of this review is to collect existing information on breast cancer, its definition, classification, and to identify socio-structural factors of health care services that are associated with delayed medical care that negatively affects in clinical nationalization and therefore a 5-year survival, besides the need for further research related to this topic. Timely diagnosis and therapy for patients with breast cancer require the modification and implementation of current public policies in order to contribute to the reduction of mortality, especially in developing countries, since it has not only an economic impact but also a personal, social and family impact. Late diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer have been associated with a reduced survival period due to the clinical stage of the diagnosis in which a delay of more than three months was identified related to delays in the patient and not only by the lack of identification of signs and symptoms, but also by the lack of human resources and infrastructure.
